Techniques on how to LEGALLY earn money in-game. Written by the wow-pro community.

(Ally) How you can make 6310 gold before 61!

Short note:
510 for 150 riding skill (Assumes you’re exalted with at least one faction of alliance).
800 for 225 riding skill
5000 for 300 riding skill

Total: 6310 BEFORE 70

Well a short introduction I suppose is at hand. These are notes I put together while leveling a Paladin on a Vanilla account (no Burning Crusade installed). My goal was to see if I could raise the amount of gold needed for 1-300 riding skill BEFORE 61. In addition I wanted to do it in shorter time then it took my first character to raise 5000 gold.

I was intrigued by this because my first horde character, a druid, obtained his first 300 riding skill around 3 months ago. It took him around the same amount of time (three months) to raise the gold from doing dailies, farming motes, etc.). I also wanted a 70 from both sides ready for the next expansion when it came out

Well yesterday I’m proud to say in just two months and 15 days my Paladin is now sitting slightly over 6310 gold while being level 60. (On a side note: at some point I will make pictures showing my paladins gold amount)

Perhaps the most intriguing (I suppose to new players as well as those that do not have 70’s) is that all you need is a 58 plus character, two-three hours per day, patience, and discipline.

Class, Skills, other Recommendations:

The class can be any; it doesn’t matter so long as you enjoy the class. For skills, however, I HIGHLY recommend you pick up mining/skinning because honestly it’s where the bulk of the money comes from. While not needed, I do recommend on having an alt character level 35+ de’er. One that is capable of disenchanting items 51-58. While 150 mount training does help (can also knock off 510 gold needed to raise) you’ll want at least level mount training just to decrease going to/from distance (My paladin at the time of beginning and ending of this grind only had 75 riding skill).

Rivern Frostwind

You’ll get to know him pretty well in the upcoming days for his the reason behind the grind to 6310 gold. For alliance players you can rep grind a pretty cool looking mount with a unique trait.

As the tooltip states here: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=13086 the mount itself is a very fast mount but only requires 75 riding skill! But really that’s just icing on the cake. It’s the first quest he gives you that helped me raise 6310 gold.

Frostsaber Provisions: http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=4970, involves you killing two different creatures for six total pieces of meat both also capable of being skinned. The skins you will get are usually thick or of rugged quality. On most servers these can go for anywhere between 15-30 gold (30 gold more so for rugged). Rugged and Thick are also usually in short supply since people with 70’s buy them out for power leveling pre 300 skill level professions.

Even better: Thorium (and inside a few caves are Rich) Veins spawn at various points where you’ll be grinding: http://www.wowhead.com/?object=324. Like Rugged Leather, Thorium sells anywhere between 15-20 gold for each stack!

Send whatever occasional greens that you find to your de’er alt which disenchants into illusion dust which also sells for 20-30 gold perstack! During the grind I was even lucky and found a few epics.

While long and tedious it was refreshing to earn mount money needed for 125, 225, and 300 mount training before 70. In turn I think it will make 61-70 more enjoyable this time around since I do not have to worry about all the future farming my druid had to go through.

"Steinar's" Guide for some money making

Hi everyone !

So Ive played wow in 2 years by now.
And I know how Boooring it can be farming money.
I whanted to share some of my ideas to you all, well I guess many of you guys/girls know all this.
I would say this is more a guide for people that just started wow and whant to make some nice G, may be for mount or new items.

Lets get started !!

1. Choose youre proofesions:
- Check out AH before you choose! (Realms have different prices for stuff)
- Dont take a proffesion like ; Blacksmithing, Leatherworking..... If you just started wow.
- Learn som gathering proffesions I would suggest mining and herbalism.

2. Proffesions added:
- Mining : Get to elwyn forest in fargoodeep mine and mine the veins.
$$BONUS$$: The Vermins drop linen cloth that sells nice on AH.
- Herbalism : I would suggest to get youre skill up untill you can pick up Briarthorn in duskwood. You need 70 skills in herbs. this herb you also get a herb called Swiftthistle and that sells for a nice price on AH!
On some servers a stack is sold easly for 10-14g.

3. Learn to sell youre trade goods:
- Check the AH prices.
- Dont undercut by more than 1-6 silver, you will lose some money in length.
- I would download Auctioneer for helping you, for more information about it read the well written guide "Money Making - Using The Auction House To Your Advantage" you can find this guide under money making.

4. The end:
- Get youre feets on the ground and start making some nice gold.

I really hope this guide will help some peoples, I would love to get som comments back.

2 Neat Tricks to make some quick G

Hey Guys, this is my first guide, just with some tips I've discovered and want to share

These tips may not work on all servers, but all levels can do this and the startup costs are not very high (although the second tip requires 350 First Aid so it probably requires a higher level)

Tip 1

1) Check the Auction House for Primals, you can choose any and/or all of them to do this for.
2) Note down the Price of the primals.
3) Seach the Auction House for the Mote for that Primal, for example if you searched for Primal Fire initially, search for Mote of Fire.
4) Check the price of the motes. Quite often I find that the motes cost less than the primals, just because some people do not know how to make them into Primals, or for whatever reason do not want to make them into Primals. For example I recently spent 28g on some motes, when the equivilent if I had bought the Primals was 45g. Bear in mind when checking the price that 10 motes = 1 primal so if you divide the lowest primal cost by 10 you get the benchmark for each 'Cheap' Mote.

You do not have to have any addons to do this, just a pen and paper.

Tip 2

For this Tip you must have 350 First Aid, as it requires the making of bandages.

1) Search the Auction House for Netherweave Cloth.
2) Any Netherweave Cloth below 3g (for a stack of 20) buyout or bid for depending on your patience Smiling
3) Make all of the Netherweave Cloth you have bought into Heavy Netherweave Bandages
4) The Bandages sell for 30s to a vendor, so for a stack of 20 Netherweave Cloth you will get 10 Bandages, each selling to a vendor for 30s. That gives you 3g back, hence why you buy only those stacks that are below 3g in price.

You can repeat this tip whenever you find bargains on the Auction house, it will not make huge amounts of money, but enough to make it worthwhile the 5 minutes it took to do it.

I never have said that these tips would make you enough to get an Epic Flying Mount, but they should (and are for me) enough to keep up with the some repair bills.

Thanks for Reading, I hope that this has been worth the time that it took to read it (and write it Sticking out tongue)

Bens guide to money levels 60-70 for alliance

To begin head to ulda if you do not know how to get there fly to loch modan and go to the badlands or fly to searing gorge and go the long way its right on the eastern corner anyway be sure to kill every trogg you see (They might have a epic shield) also if you are a enchanter theres a master enchanter in the instance once done with ulda head to sm once there be sure to solo all parts. now once all of the instance are done put all the greens, blues and purples in your bank. also if you can solo ZF, VC and WC also gnomer it is a GOLD MINE! do this every day for a week then trade all of it in to a vendor or AH you will get over 100g! or more.

BloodRush's tips on making gold!

Hello, this is just some helpful tips on gold. Well I would like to say this really works well in outland.

Tip one!
Stack quests, Stacking quests isn’t just a good way to save on gold, but it’s a fast way of levelling up! Stack as many as you can!

Tip two!
Armour (Outland) Don’t buy armour off the AH, its stupid unless you really need it! You will find that the quest rewards are better than your average bargain at your local AH.

Tip three!
Working the AH, this is called “Working the AH” for a reason! For this I recommend the following add-ons… Auctioneer Advance or Classic . This will show you if it’s a good price or a bad one… This is useful… very useful! Okay, the trick is to buy low and sell high(er)… Isn’t hard, you will need some gold to start with though =P

Tip four!
Climb the tree, as I call it. This is easy… just sell all your greens, blues, and epics on the Ah… If you are a enchanter. You can disenchant the greens , but not the BLUES or EPIC!

Well that’s all… by using these simple tips you can make loads! I mean look at me… when I was buying off the AH and not selling again the most I made was about 50g at level 50-57 and then at 58 I got to outland and made about 300g quickly!

If you have any more tips please comment!

GoodLuck, Bloodrush96

Preface
This gold-making route is designed to earn the most gold in the least possible time. I understand there are many like me with time constraints and cannot dedicate too much time to playing, so I devised a route that worked very well for me that helped me buy my epic flyer training and animal in about 2 1/2 weeks. At the time I reached level 70 and bought my flying mount training, I had 1000g left over. With my route of dailys, paired with a sufficient understanding of making money on the AH, I easily reached the 5.2k gold mark in about 2 1/2 weeks. Just from dailys alone, you could earn 2800g in 2 weeks playing 2 hours a day. So lets get to it...

1. We're going to start in Shattrath. Also be sure to bind your HEARTHSTONE here.

2. We're going to be picking up some quests here real fast before we head off to Quel'Danas. Go to Harbinger Haronem and pick up the quest, The Multiphase Survey. Then head over to Lord Torvos and pick up Sunfury Attack Plans. Right next to him should be Emissary Mordin with the quest, Gaining the Advantage. There is another quest available in the Terrace of Light, but that requires us to go far into Blade's Edge Mountain, which is extremely out of the way. Don't worry about that quest.

3. Go inside the Terrace of Light and take the portal to Quel'Danas. Upon arrival, pick up every quest there that is a daily(exluding the quest that requires the 10g to complete). Your quest log should include the following quests: Further Conversions, Arm the Wards!, The Battle Must Go On, The Air Strikes Must Continue, Know Your Ley Lines, Keeping the Enemy at Bay, Crush the Dawnblade, Don't Stop Now.... , Ata'mal Armaments, Discovering Your Roots, Disrupt the Greengill Coast. You should have a total of 14 quests from what we have picked up in Shattrath and in Quel'Danas.

*From now on, and throughout the rest of the guide be on the look out for mines, herbs, or animals to skin*

4. Once you have collected the aformentioned quests, head towards Greengill Coast. Kill Darkspine Sirens until you have looted at least 4 Orb of Murloc Control. Also kill Darkspine Myrmidon and collect 3 Darkspine Chest Keys. Head south towards the Naga Shrine while you go around freeing the greengill slaves and opening Darkspine Ore Chests that lie on the ground.
When you reach the shrine, use your Astromancer's Crystal. When finished with Disrupt the Greengill Coast and Don't Stop Now.... , head back to Quel'Danas and turn in your two quests.

5. Head south towards The Dawning Square and kill 6 of the mobs there. When you find an Emissary of Hate, kill it and plant your Shattered Sun Banner. If someone else has killed it, you can still plant the banner. While we are here, go to the Portal in the middle and use your Astromancer's Crystal. Be sure you have completed The Battle Must Go On

6. From here, head west towards Dawnstar Village and kill all the necessary mobs to complete Crush the Dawnblade. Head towards the Blood Crystals in the building with the summoners channeling energy to it. Use your Astromancer's Crystal once more.

7. Head west once more to the next area. Locate and kill 5 Erratic Sentries and use your Attuned Crystal Cores on the corpses. Also in the area, kill any of the "zombie" mobs. Kill them until you have 4 Mana Remnants. Be sure to have completed Further Conversions, then head back to the base. When you get there, find a red floating crystal, and use your Mana Remnants on it to complete Arm the Wards!

8. Go to the northern part of Sun Reach Harbor until you find the flight master and the NPC next to him named Ayren Cloudbreaker. Speak to him and take a flight to The Dead Scar, which is the option that does not have Dawnblade in the sentence. This is your standard bombing mission, and it's pretty self explanatory. Hopefully you are able to finish the quest in one run, which is not difficult at all. When your flight returns to Sun's Reach, talk to the same NPC and take the flight to the Dawnblade ships. Same concept here: bomb the three ships. You're flight will drop you off at the middle ship, where you will proceed to kill 6 Dawnblade Reservist. You may go to the other 2 nearby ships for more mobs to kill if the middle ship doesn't spawn fast enough. When finished, talk to the dragonhawk to fly back to the base. You should now have completed all the quests on Quel'Danas. Needless to say, you should turn them all in Eye

9. Repair and sell all your trash. When you have turned in all your quests, use your Darnarian's Scroll of Teleportation, which you have recieved from the Ley Lines quest.

10. You should now be in Shattrath. Take a flight to Shadowmoon Valley to either the Aldor or the Scryer base, whichever faction you are allied with. From either location, head towards the Black Temple. Follow the path leading towards The Black Temple. You should see armies of Aldor and Scryer NPCs there. Go towards the Aldors. You should see a path leading up with Shadowmoon Slayers. Head up Ata'mal Terrace while killing every mob you see until you get 5 Ata'mal Armaments. Watch out for the elite that roams around here.

11. Return back to the Aldor's base or the Scryer's base and take a flight back to Shattrath. Once there, fly up to Razorthorn Rise, which is at the northmost part of Terrokar Forest, bordering Hellfire Peninsula and Zangarmarsh. Once there, locate Razorthorn Flayers and kill them until one of them drops a Razorthorn Flayer Gland . Use that item on a Razorthorn Ravager to control it. Once controlled, go around looking for "Dirt Mounds" then use the 'Expose Root' near it. Once you have gathered 5 Razorthorn Roots, fly back to Shattrath.

12. Take a flight to Thrallmar. Once there, mount up and fly directly north to the Throne of Kil'jaeden. You should find an NPC on a dragonhawk named Magistrix Seyla. Grab the two quests that are available, Blast the Gateway and Blood for Blood. Use your Sizzling Embers item to summon a living flare. Everytime you kill an Incandescent Fel Spark, you're flare will grow. You must kill 8 of the elementals to be able to take the flare to the gateway to destroy it. At the same time you are killing the elementals, you need to kill Wrath Heralds until you have collected 4 vials of Demonic Blood. Then use your Fel Siphon to drain the Felblood Initiates into a weaker normal mob. Kill them, and repeat 3 more times. Run around the area until you have completed Blood for Blood and Blast the Gateway. When finished, turn them in.

13. Mount up and fly directly north to Netherstorm. You should land at Manaforge Coruu. Stay here and kill all the Sunfury mobs until you have found Sunfury Attack Plans. Once completed, hearthstone back to Shattrath.

14. Once in Shattrath, take a flight to Garadar in Nagrand. Once there, head over to the Spirit Fields. Once there, equip your Multiphase Spectrographic Goggles
and use them whenever you see a "distortion" (they resemble a vortex of fire). Do this until you have completed The Multiphase Survey. Now while at Nagrand, fly around looking for mines, herbs, or animals to skin to finish up Gaining the Advantage. Once finished, take a flight back to Shattrath.

15. Go turn in all your quests in Shattrath, then take the portal to Quel'Danas. Once there, turn in the rest of your quests. Sell all your vendor trash and anything else you need to sell. Don't forget to repair as well. You should now have 200 more gold then you had before!

I hope this guide was useful. If you have any questions, comments or suggestions, just let me know on the forums or send me a tell on Lorich on Malorne. Thank you Smiling

Different Niches In The Economy Pt1 (revised)

So, you hit 70?!!
Nice, gratz,kthx.

What now, your half green and blue you just managed to scrape a flyer thats slower than my granny and Karazhan is on your to do list.

Your freinds are getting all these random world epixx, cashing in. Whilst you are stuck trying to get rep and attunements. Ofcourse RL calls, WoW is at the bottom of your priority list (well it should be) and you dont want to spend all your play time grinding levels, grinding cash, grinding mats.
(Btw you are now entering the world of motecraft)

This is general, and there are several tips and guides i will explain.

Simple Gold Making Techniques

1, Buy Low sell HIGH!. Now you've probably heard this before but I'm going to give some examples and get more specific.

You often see people selling raw materials in the Trade channels, things to look out for:
-High End Cloth
-Motes
-Ores or Bars
-BoE blues
-Certain Recipies
-Rep increasing items

With high end cloth the majority of it tends to be Netherweave, which is in good supply but also in good demand. So to profit from this you must check the AH, find the average price (don't undercut to much, this lowers profits) ask out in Trade channel "WTB Netherweave cloth" if you get replies ask for a price that is 1.5-3g cheaper than AH depending on the AH price. But this means you have to buy in bulk, although you still get more profit in the end. So you've bought 10 stacks of Cloth, for 2g a stack. AH each stack for 4g or depending on what you server demands are (1.5g -3g more than what you bought for). Tactics such as 3.99 BO are effecting because people think they are paying 3G but in reality they are paying 4G. If this was done with good succes you have almost double your original spent cash. Endnote :Buying in bulk really helps in this case, and een if you dont get double what you paid for you still profit more or less depedning on the amount of cloth you bought.

Motes, control our economy. There prices rise and fall as demands increase and decrease.
This example is more profitable in long term but once the original spent is made back (which based on the amount made per unit is quick) the profit just keeps on rising.

Take the tradeskill alchemy, powerlevel it ( I don't care how but the less you spend the better obviously)
Spec Transmutation. This will cost im told (500g) in motes i think although if your class is adept at farming then do it yourself. Get the recipie transmute earth to water. On most servers Water is worth 4 times Earth, so youve done transmutation it procs suddenly your profit has been quadrupled. Thats roughly 120g for 1 minute of transmutation. Wait a day, do this again you should get atleast 20g minimum profit per transmute, even better if somones asks you to do it and they offer you more and supply the primal earth.
This is much more useful for those who don't get alot of playtime, but can still rake in 20-140g a day depending on there luck and 1 minute work.
Another transmute which is quite profitable is arcanite. Arcance crystal goes for max 4g my server, thorium max 2g per bar. 6g total. Transmute sell for 14g BO if it procs same as above.

Ores and Bars supply the materials for three tradeskills. Its simple really. Find a map of an area (nagrand, HFP) and do circuits, my usual route on a normal flyer yeilds between 80-200g in off hours.
However if your not wanting to compete with farmers I'd suggest Winterspring and rich thorium veins. A place to start would be search the enitre southern area with the elites, then loop around the edges and come back to the southern most area. This can yeild 80 thorium bar which on my server can sell for max 240g. Not counting the gems.

BoE blues are a good way of making money, although you need cash to make cash with this strategy
Things to look for are blues that have alot of one or two stats for ther level and also have a good dps for the level. Things in the 19lvl range are in high demand because people want to twink out there rougues and warriors in the Lowest level bracket of pvp. A reasonable place to farm these BoE blues is
Shadowfang Keep
Centaurs In 1k Needles (Galak I believe)
SM Graveyard

Also, running lower level players through instaces can be very profitable, say you take a group of 4 people and yourself through deadmines 5g a head. Thats 20G for about 30 mins work at lvl 70.

Certain recipies of all tradeskills have value, but you must know your AH to know their worth.

Crusader enchant recipie average price 110g, buy this if its 70g- and resell for average price that a good profit for simple common sense.

Another example is steel weapon chain, which is an uncommon blacksmithing recipie but is as rare as random world drop epics. This sells for 300-400g and if you see one for 50g- buy it as quickly as possible and resell.

Items that give reputation gain with certain factions are very sought after. Mainly because people dont want to grind it them selves they'd rather buy the required items and just hand them in. This is where you come in, people will often spam WTS marks/sigents or armaments/tomes. Again know your AH if what they are asking of buyers is very little and a good profit could be made of it, go ahead and ask them if they want to sell you there items for X gold. Somtimes people sell say a stack of 200 but for a sharply reduced price to normal single stacks if bought in bulk. An excellent way to profit from this is then dividing into stacks and reselling for just under the maximum-average price (10 silver diference in BO prices) This will yeild you more G per signet and leave you maybe 30-40G better off depending on Ah price and original money spent.

2,Getting the materials youself, where to get them, who to sell them to and how much.

So you've just dinged 70 bought your mount blah blah blah. But you need cash, this section will tell you how you can go about making good amounts of gold just by circuit grinding.

There are four materials you can grind:
Ore
Leather
Cloth
Primals

I shall start with leather. Skinning is the art of killing beasts and then taking there skins, but beasts do not just drop skins but scales and hides. So how do i profit from this? Simple I shall list the steps in order for maximum profit, however i would like to point out that although there is some money in knothide leather there is much more money in other places of the realm which can only be taken through skinning.

1, Know you AH, do a price check on Cobra Scales
2, Go to Shadowmoon Valley, stock up on food, arrows, water whatever is necessary for efficient killing.
3, Go to Coilskar Cistern, this is possibly one of the best places to make cash as a skinner.
4, Grind on the naga and the COILSKAR COBRAS.
5, Skin the cobras loot the naga
6, This will yeild lots of normal leather (knothide usually 5g a stack)
2-3 cobra scales (depending on server price 60-120g)
several greens and perhaps a blue also lots of cloth will drop (4g per stack of netherweave my server)
7, I did this for about 2 hours one night as a Beast Mastery hunter. Made about 200g, got 6 scales and 3 greens and alot of leather, the reason for so many drops is that I practically didnt stop killing mobs.
However, if it just leather you are seeking Nagrand is porbably the most populated area (Beasts in talking about) in the game, so head over there and grind leather to your hearts content.

I find this efficient because 2 of the above listed, are dropped here.

Now onto Ores and Bars.
Genuinly most servers have primarily similar prices and demands so im going to tell you what one of the largest commodities in demand is. Adamantite.

Yet again i shall list step by step a way to profit hugely from farming this needed material. But first please do the following. Check your AH for prices on Ores and Bars. Please also take into acount that it takes 2 ores for one bar so if you get more profit from ore, sell ores in stacks not bars.

The key to successfully mining large amount of adamantite is doin circuits of vein rich areas. These areas are primarily Nagrand and Blades Edge Mountain.

I will link maps which show where ore nodes have been found commonly.
http://www.wowhead.com/?object=181556 for Blades
http://www.wowhead.com/?object=181556 for Nagrand

Now the most efficient circuit for Nagrand is to do a lazy figure eight from hemets sarfari camp curving to garadar, then curving to warmaul hills, the going south to Twilight Grove then from there go directly to Burning Blade ruins. Rinse and Repeat. Sending to Bank alt when passing over Garadar.

For efficient mining in Blades I would suggest somthing like the following:
Start at the node concentration south of Bloodmaul outpost, then fly to bladespire hold , then fly to ravens wood cavern check in there. Once youve exited the cavern immediatly fly towards Gruuls Lair, then north to felstorm point, then from there fly a curving point towards forge camp anger, then south directly to Deaths Door. Then Southwest to Vekharr stand.

This is as i found my favourite route as i would often find a khorium node along the way. This can yeild roughly 70-230 adamantite ore several gems perhaps a few blue gems and maybe some khorium.
Which on my server can yeild 100-300 G and about 10g worth of green gems and a blue of about 50g. If im extra lucky the khorium would yeild and extra 15g.

Now this circuit can take as much as 2 hours if done right, but the amount of ore that should be collected is enourmous.

Jewels are a new and profitable feature added in the BC as I'm sure you all know. Gems vary in value and obviously the blue ones or rare ones are going to be worth more. Incidently often you will find several green gems and a few blue gems in you mining travels. Although selling them is extremely profitable keeping them and saving them for your own sockets is even better, saving you hundreds of gold in the long run.

And finally Primals.
There are only 2 places that I have ever found uncontested and bountiful.
Skald, is in northern Blades Edge Mountains, its inhabitants are fire elementals and imps.
Both lvl 67-68 they are quite easily farmed. This location is hallowed because both mobs have a good chance to drop 1-2 motes of fire. After and hour of farming this yeilded 6 primal fires. If the price is right on your server, these primals can skyrocket to over 30g, but im my case only 27g. SO i sold these 6 primal fires 167G right there, not to mention the greens and greys and runecloth that dropped. After farming there i was up to almost 200g with only 1 death which was unlucky.

And the other is primal water. Im probably going to regret this but maybe the only unfarmed hotspot for these is right next to Shattrath. The lake north of Shatt is filled with eels, these blighters are similar to imps but have an excellent drop rate for motes of water. These primals are worth slightly less than fires but you can still have massive profits.

This section is in response to what i thought was a suggestion. As the comment says farming herbs is a very lucrative tradeskill as there is always a demand. But I dont have anything other to add to that fact. It is a constant so its always worth somthing.

Skinning will , i beleive have a massive spike in leather prices as we enter Northrend, people who want to lvl leatherworking will be buying leather non-stop. And if you skin while you level its easy profits not going out of your way. This fact applies to all trade skills.

To be Continued

These are only some examples of how to make cash depending on the amount of time you have to burn.

Different Niches In The Economy Pt. 2

Hello Again,
This is the second part of my guide chain Different Niches in The Economy.

So you've read up on some general Gold making strategies, and its my fault but these guides are generally aimed at those who have one or more 70s and have some game experiance.

This part of my guide is going to be aimed at the lower levels 1-30, I will explain brilliant strategies that can be completed whilst questing away, grinding or doing whatever it is that you do!
Secondly this guide is only oriented at horde players, and im sorry for all you alliance but the farthest ive gone is a 20 warrior so i havn't done any what i like to call "field research".

As a final note MAKE ANOTHER LVL 1 TOON THAT YOU SHALL SEND YOUR ITEMS TO SO YOU CAN SAVE BANK SPACE.

Also this guide I base on my new warlock who is my main on this server Laughing out loud
The contents of this next guide will entail:
How to get 50G under level 15 without leaving durotar,
"Is it possible?"
Farming the cloth that makes you RICH(including the where and how),
"Lawl lowbie cloth aint worth nuttin"
Looking out for certain lowbie recipies that are worth there weight in gold!,
"As if"
Which mobs yeild many greens and good vendour trash,
"ORLY"
HowTailoring can yeild several gold under skill lvl 150!
"WHAT!??!!"

This is What I Did.

Leveling up in Valley of Trials and around Senjin Village.
Once I was done and around the right level to move up to the Razor Hill quest hub, once in Razor hill take up mining. Now unless your a hunter and its completely necessary don't turn of Track Minerals. At this point I also decided to pick up tailoring but you can take anything else (skinning or herbalism is a better choice for a good cash flow). (Later I will explain how to make money with other professions apart from tailoring at this lower level).

Now the first strategy comes into play, with you mining on do circuits of Durotar once around the outside of the Valley of Trials area , there is a large valley like place a little NW of Senjin, Do a lap or two of the ouside of this area, killing everything as you go, skinning/herbing/looting.
If you get bored of this and your bags are only full of consumables that you absolutley need or ore/leather/herbs go send everything you have to your bank alt, perhaps selling a stack or two of your materials and any good greys you might have acquired.

Try to acquire as much silver as possible and buy a bag. Also there is a questgiver a little NW of Razor Hill (RH) gives a 6 slot bag for completing an easy quest in which you have to kill humainoids for cloth craps.

If your 13-14 the next circuit for copper you should do would be around the large gulley where the thunder lizards and a minority of Burning Blade cultists roam. Basically run laps around the top of the gulleys and if you see an outcroping of rocks go investigate (it may yeild more copper). All the while killing things and skinning/herbing.

Once your bag/s are full head back to RH yet again save any of the lesser materials for vendour selling and mail all your ore/herbs (and if you have alot of leather) to your bank alt.

Now if you want you can continue these circuits going from one to the other and the copper will respawn as you leave one area an begin mining in another. Spend say 2 hours of this, you will have 50+ G of copper ore/bars.

IMPORTANT!-->One other thing I will mention is that bagpace=more ore. This means more money and the bags will pay for themselves 10 fold if the long run. Also check the Auction House (Now AH) for the median prices on ore and always either keep you price 1-2 silver below the median price, or price gouge if no one else is around to compete with you. But by price gouge I mean increase the median price by almost 40-70 silver, gouge to much and no-one will buy your wares. Also this should be done with all herbs and leather although they will sell for considerably less than copper.

Now onto Farming the cloth that will make you RICH

Wool cloth.
On the servers i have played on these go for 2.5G plus a stack, which is usually more than copper ore/bars.
I would suggest you are lvl 18-20 and know how to grind effectively. Free up all your bag space, apart from the necessary water or food.

For the people who are living in the Barrens in their late teens head to Bael Modan in Southern Barrens.
Only loot greens/blues and wool cloth discard any linen or greys ( or don't if you only plan to spend 30-50 mins there).

When I was doing this I spent around 1.1 hours there and dinged twice 20-21 had about 30 greens a blue and about 11 stacks of Wool Cloth. The Wool Cloth alone yeilded 30g give or take 5 silver, all my Wool was sold on BO of 2.99G on the AH. And only 23 of the 30 greens sold ( I was careful to only loot the greens with sought after stats on the right weapons/armour for instance no one wants a mail chestpeice of spirit) Because I only sold the greens for a maximum of 80 silver each they only yeailded around 10G total. Because I'm a Warlock I found that the blue that dropped was probably the only blue i could want at that level, a nice wand Skycaller. I checked ah and somone already had one up for 44G , so i decided instead of undercutting i would use the item, which i must say even 10 levels above the level requirement its dps is still superior.

The only other good place I've found personally is at Durholde keep , which is near Tarren Mill.
I did a similar run but it only yeilded about 7 stacks of wool cloth and several greens (I was there about 40 mins). Although sigificantly less its closer to a town and a graveyard, so i guess the downtime of running back and forth to send to a bank alt is lessened significantly. In total the amount of gold collected at the end was approx. 18G and I leveled to 23 through the grinding.

I have only given two examples as I havn't found any other places that best the wool drops but if you have found one please post a forum subject so I can read it and perhaps add it to my guide. So at level 23 i was sitting on 74.71 Gold.

The Recipies
Savourey Deviate Delight.
Elixier of Giant Growth

This part I found is based on luck and may or may not apply to you so don't go out of your way to grind this.

This is quite sought after by alchemists because its very popular with the WoW community. Transforming them into Ninja's or Pirate's the funny consumble i worth 2-3 g a pop so the recipie is worth something itself obviously.

When editing this guide i also thought it would be approprate to add that another recipie of WORTH dropped whilst i was leveling and grinding cash. The recipie for the elixier of giant growth. This sold for almost 40G BO which was considerable because it was thinking of vendouring it Laughing out loud.

Although I may have been insanely lucky this recipie dropped twice for me druing my time in the Barrens. Now depending on what the AH says these can go for 20G or 3 G but either way its all cash so try to get the most out of it. Both of mine sold for 13G which was the minimum bid i put up. That 26 right there, putting my Warlock up to 91G after buying new skills and such.

Mobs that drop LOTS of Greens.

The Turtles SE of The Crossroads dropped many, many greens for me the average drop rate was 1 every 9-15 kills. This is a favoured spot because ore nodes spawn quickly in the pool of water.

The other place which is great to make a quick few G is the Centaurs NW,SW and SE of the Crossroads. They drop cloth, greens and worthy greys. Also ore nodes spawn around these general areas which is a boon to the gold making. Also they can drop the Kolkar booty key, which lets you open a certain chest which has a very high chance of containing a green of some sort.

Finally, how to make money with the tradeskill Tailoring.

At these lower levels the greens that can be made via tailoring are pretty terrible and not worth the materials, however the one thing that is worth the cash is Woolen Bags, learnt at level 90 Tailoring these bags are worth almost double there mat cost. But this is quite circumstancial because bgs need to be in demand, people need to have a want and if you just AH these without doing a little background checking your more than likely to get screwed over.

To Be Continued

Endnote.
As I read over this it seems that its not very helpful, and I had to rush it because I can't see much time in the future to do it again. Regardless please comment on this or send me and email at
or post a forum topic so other people and I can discuss your ideas and points of veiw. Please rate this and I'm sorry but I havn't had time to edit the spelling and grammar, and there is much more to add.

Conclusion: As you can see if you just follow how the game prompts you to go, you can still make considerable money at lower levels you just need the know how, which i hope i have provided somwhat. But remember to pick up if anything mining. It is the way i see the only way to make large amounts of money.

That's all for now.Jawdropping!

Earn money with enchanting mats (no enchanting skill required)

If you want to make easy money while you're doing something else, please read on.

We're going to make money with enchanting mats.
How? Easy pie. Just by buying/selling enchanting mats.

There are 3 different sorts of enchanting mats; shards, essences and dusts.
We're going to make money with the essences.

First of all, you need some money to start with.
If you don't have much gold to spend, no problem, it only takes longer to make big amounts Smiling
I think 1-2g is enough to start with.

Part 1: lesser/greater essences
Essences (e.g. magic, mystic, astral, nether, eternal) have a special characteristic.
You can transform 3 Lesser xxx Essence to 1 Greater xxx Essence (and vice-versa) by right clicking on the item in your bag.

On AH you can find both greater and lesser essences. But here's the trick.
Lesser essences go for a higher price (in relative terms) than Greater essences.

For instance: (prices may change per realm/faction)
- 1 Greater Eternal Essence: 6g AH price
- 1 Lesser Eternal Essence: 3g50s AH price

3 x 3g50s = 10g50s
10g50s - 6g = 4g50s

We are making 4g50s profit out of this !!! How nice?!

The trick in this is to get the Greater Essences for a reasonable price (they go for really high prices sometimes).
You can do this with all other essences, but the prices may vary ofcourse.
The best thing is: you won't lose your investment (read on to part 2)

Part 2: Nothing to lose
This is the best part. When trading enchanting mats, you won't lose your investment price.
In the worst case it can take a while to get it back (with profit ofcouse).

This is because enchanting mats don't have a deposit price on the AH.
Which means you can stick to your own price (most of the times), just bring your mats back to the AH as soon as their auctions have expired.
Because these mats don't have a deposit price, always set 24h auctions!

Please leave comments/suggestions to this way of money making via the comments, thanks Eye

Easy alliance starters gold (earn a nice amount of gold in your low lvls!)

Ok, here's the deal. When you just start playing WoW or you move to a new server, you'll find yourself with very little bagspace, very bad equipment and sometimes even a lack of skills, all because you don't have enough money to buy it! However, making a nice amount of gold while you're still below lvl 10 is not really hard!

I've found a nice mining loop in Elwynn forest, it takes about 30 to 45 minutes to complete (depending on your lvl and luck) and in the end you will have about 80 to 100 copper ores! One stack of 20 copper ores sells for an average of 2.5g on most servers, so in the worst situation you will earn 10g in 45 minutes!

"But what about those guides where you can earn 50g in 1 hour, that's a lot better!"
Well, that's true, but those guides require you to be a certain (probably high) lvl, where this mining loop only requires you to be somewhere between lvl 5 and 10!

Here's what we're going to need:

Add-ons:
- Auctioneer: This add-on scans the auction-house for you and automatically picks the best price for your auctions! Can't be a good tradesman without this add-on!

- Cartographer: Not only does this add-on give you all the maps of the whole world without ever exploring them, it also tracks stuff you loot from the world. You're able to see where you've looted herbs, ores or treasure boxes just by pressing the M-button!

As of patch 2.3 there are some slight problems with these 2 add-ons. If Cartographer doesn't work you might wanna try using Gatherer. If Auctioneer is bugged for you, you'll just have to look up the prices yourself and do some calculating Eye

Ingame stuff:
- Mining profession: Pretty self-explanatory...
- A mining pick: What else do you want to mine your ores with!?
Captain Obvious says: D'uh

Also, I suggest picking up the skinning profession (this requires you to have a skinning knife in your inventory). This is the easiest profession to take, because you can skin every 'beast' monster from his fur/hide and then sell it on the Auction House!

First off, get to Stormwind, if you're a human this is easy, just check your map.
If you're a dwarf or a gnome take the Deeprun Tram from Ironforge and you're there!
If you're a Draenei or a Night Elf it's a bit more complicated; take the boat to Auberdine, then from there take the boat to Menethil Harbor (it's the dock pointing towards the south). Walk through The Wetlands and Dun Morogh towards Ironforge and take the Deeprun Tram from there! Offcourse you can also search for a kind mage or warlock to give you a portal/summon but this will probably cost you some money!

In Stormwind, scan the Auction House using the Auctioneer add-on. Do this by talking to one of the auctioneers and pressing the 'scan' button. Go do something for 10 minutes (call your girlfriend/boyfriend/mother for a change Eye) and then return when it's done scanning.
Pick up the mining (and skinning if you want) profession, along with a mining pick (and a skinning knife) make sure your bags are empty (except for the pick and knife ofc) and head out towards Elwynn Forest!

Here's the route we're going to follow:

(Click for a bigger version!)

Start off by heading to the south and then follow the red line I drew on the map above! Easy right? While walking kill everything that gets in the way and don't forget to skin them! If you're still around lvl 10 you can actually get quite a nice amount of experience from this too!
When you get to the the Fargodeep Mine (the first one) just enter one of the entrances and walk through the cave all the way to the other entrance.
South of Eastvale Logging Camp is 1 node, you can choose to take this one if you feel like you don't have enough yet, but I usually leave it there, since you won't really miss it!
The Jasperlode Mine only has one entrance/exit so just walk all the way to the end of the cave and then just head back out.
The end is right where you've started, at Stormwind. I suggest taking a break since it can be quite boring and the mining veins need time to respawn. Time to cash in! Go to the Auction House and see what price your Auctioneer Add-on advices you to set for a stack! If you have a stack with less then 20 ores, don't be afraid to dump it there too, the add-on will automatically set the right price comparing to a full stack!

I hope this guide is off any use to new players, it sure gives me a nice money-boost when I'm starting a new character on a realm! Feel free to leave a comment with suggestions (don't be too harsh on me though! Sticking out tongue) or questions, I'll be glad to answer them!

Have fun mining! Eye

Farming as an engineer

To do this, engineering at level 350 is required. Epic flying mount makes it a lot better, but is not required. Here goes.

First, you need to create http://www.wowhead.com/?item=23821, and http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32461, or any other goggles that allow you to see gas clouds. Then, simply get on your mount, and collect either primal airs in Nagrand (route herehttp://img128.imageshack.us/img128/7741/farmingmotesairco7.png), or shadows in SMV. I prefer airs though, as they usually sell for more. I was getting about 12-15 airs an hour doing this. Note, if you don't have epic flying, you gathering will slow down a lot.

This was hardly a guide, just a little tip, but I hope people can use this, as it definately helped me.

Fishing Guide (Works for Horde and Alliance)

This is my first guide, so please be constructive on your criticism etc...
Please Note: I did this on Horde, therefore the Horde version will be more in depth. Apologies to Alliance :] I will be adding maps, screenshots etc soon.

Before we start, Alliance members may want to set their HS to Stormwind. Horde members aren't requried to set theirs to Orgrimmar.

Step One
Alliance: Go to Stormwind, ask a guard to see where the fishing trainer is, and then train in it. Get a fishing pole, and maybe some baubles (If you dont want to wait). Go to a fishing spot where only skill 1 is required, and fish until your skill is 50.
Horde: Go to Orgrimmar and go to the Valley of Honour. Go to the pool of water, and jump up onto the pier. Train in fishing and buy a fishing pole and maybe a bauble. Stand on the bridge and fish until your skill is 50. OR, you can go through the back enterance of Orgrimmar and fish in Southfury River.

Step Two
Alliance: From Stormwind, get to Booty Bay. If you dont have the FP to Booty Bay: Go out of Stormwind, and zone into Westfall (Go and get the FP if you don't have it. Instead of going down the path to Duskwood, take the one to Sentinel Hill). Follow the path until it forks. Look at the signs and take the path which leads to Duskwood (again, get the FP if you dont have it. Just follow the road straight ahead rather than going south, and get into Darkshire. Get the FP then continue with the rest). Follow the path until it forks once more. Go south and get the Rebel Camp FP if you do not have it. Continue south down Stranglethorn Vale until you enter Booty Bay. Get the FP, then go to the end of the pier and wait for the boat to Ratchet to arrive. Once you are in Ratchet, go east. Don't go too far though, or else you may get into the Crossroads. Find your way to the Wailing Caverns.
Horde: This step is much easier for you. Just fly to the Crossroads, and go to Wailing Caverns. (If you do not have the FP, just go out of Orgrimmar, go south until you hit Razor Hill, go east and follow the path until it forks. Take the one leading left which should eventually land you in the Crossroads. Get the FP and go to Wailing Caverns).

Step Three
Both Factions: Equip your fishing pole and apply any baubles you may have. Begin fishing. Deviate Fish drop here, and on most servers, they go for around 15-20g per stack (The most ridiculous price I've seen it go for is 50g). Fish until you have enough stacks to get enough gold for what you need (EG, people farming for mount money will need 4/5 stacks depending on rep with the faction. Friendly = 100g, Honoured = 90g, Revered = 85g, Exalted = 80g [I think]).

Step Four
Alliance: If you followed my advice, hearthstone to Stormwind. If you didn't follow my advise, go back to Ratchet and take the boat to Booty Bay. Take a flight to Stormwind.
Horde: Go back to the Crossroads and fly to Orgrimmar.

Step Five
Both Factions: Head to your city's Auction House. CHECK what price Deviate Fish sell for on your server. Put a starting bid of 5g less than that, and a buyout of what the average price is. Auction off your fish and wait for them to sell. (May take up to a day or so).

Please take into account that server prices vary, and you may not sell the fish for alot. I made 100g in a day (from 5 stacks of fish selling at 20g per stack), and sent it to an alt so I could buy my mount as soon as I hit 40. This way may not be the most efficient, and it may bore some people, sat there, clicking a bobber, but money is money when it comes down to it Smiling Obviously this method isn't THAT suitable for epic flyers etc. It might be good for buying an epic ground mount, but I haven't tried selling that many fish yet Sticking out tongue

I hope you enjoyed my first guide, and I hope it was some use to you. Please post comments, stating results, what you think, etc. Thanks Smiling
Rob

Gold Making For 60-65

DEADWIND PASS

Here's a nice circuit for farming vendor trash of the birds in Deadwind Pass. They drop 4-6 pieces of trash per kill, and some of those stacks of 5 sell for up to 60 silver. I made about 2.5g in 5-10 minutes of lolligagging around trying to find the circuit. You could easily makes tons off this.

AZSHARA

Go to Azshara.
Go to the north mid part. It starts with massive timbermaws, then more east is blood elfs, than even further is legashi demons. I havent killed any of the timbermaw's seeing as im friendly with them. I kill blood elves for nice runecloth drops. But the Legashi demons are the best. Blues, Greens, Epic (On the occasion), and Runecloth and Felcloth. Insane money if you just mass on them. Low hp also.

FELWOOD

What you want to do is first head to Felwood which is East of Darkshore.
Here you will find:

Withered Protectors: http://www.thottbot.com/?n=6474
Warpwood Shredders: http://www.thottbot.com/?n=6486

The protectors have, according to Thottbot, a 3% chance of dropping major healing potions, but I found it to be more in the range of 10%.
On my server (Skullcrusher) one major healing potion sells on the AH for 1g. In addition to dropping potions, they also drop high-level herbs that can sell on the AH for ~ 10g for a stack of 20.

ZANGERMARSH

Go to “The Dead Mire” located at 81,46. Circle around the outer reaches killing Withered Giants and Withered Bog Lords. They Drop “Mote of Life” about 1 to 5 and they sell for ~5g on the AH for Primal Life.

Terokkar Forest

Go to either 50,15 or 58,24 and kill the feather people. They drop Arrakoa Feathers which sell for about 1g per.

Go to 38,8. All in that lake, kill the Eels. They drop 1 of 2 things, along with grey drops that sell for about 25s-2g.

*Essence of Water (~1-20 DR)
*Mote of Water (~1-5 DR)

Gold Making Leatherworking/Enchanting

***I won't say this is going to be easy or fast.
***Part of this guide was posted on this site, buying the item on AH and DEing it. and or buying other items same lvl and DEing them. This is the complete system of providing your own income and not waiting for the AH to sell the item s.

***This is proven to work.. these item is the cheapest to make and it has the highest probability of disenchanting into the matterials that SELL.

But if you find yourself starting on a new server, or you have low lvl characters on your account this method rakes in a good amount of gold until you get to Outland. I fu have a high lvl account you find yourself helping a guild buddy with some quests, you still farm for dragons breath and whipper root. even if you are lvl 70 you still play in azeroth. This will make the extra gold you need in no time. get am ount at 40? an epic one at 60? a flying mount? we all need the extra piece of gold.

To start

First you will need to have at least 2 characters. first toon will have Skinning and Leather Working as professions and second will have Tailoring and Enchanting.
I will advice horde players to use a Blood Elf for both toons or at least for the Enchanter one. Blood Elfs have extra 10 Enchanting points to begin with. Use the LW profession to make green disenchantable items same for Tailoring. Why i chose Tailoring? Since you will bring up 2 characters you will have a lot of linen/wool/silk to spare use it to get Enchanting matterials. don't waste it on First Aid unless you really think you need it. if you plan on using this characters for more then what this guide is for.

Use the lvl'ing/professions guides to lvl the enchanter to at least 20 so you can DE lvl 55 and up items(skill of 200 is required) and the LW to at least lvl 35 and LW skill of 280.
At 280 LW skill you will be able to make [item]Wicked Leather headband[/item]s. Those ARE the cheapest green item in game that disenchant to 3 of the highest enchanting materials (Illusion Dust, Greater Eternal Essence and Large Brilliant Shards)

one [item]Wicked Leather Headband[/item] is made of:
12x [item]Rugged Leather[/item] (current price of RL on my server is 5g for a stack of 20, so 3g for 12RL)
1x [item]Black Dye[/item] vendor price of 10s(it will be 9 by the time u get to 35)
1x [item]Rune Thread[/item] vendor price of 50s(45)
for a total price of 3.55g rounded up with mail cost.

one [item]Wicked Leather Headband[/item] disenchants into:
[item]Illusion Dust[/item] 116.3% (over 100% will mean sometimes you will get 2 [item]Illusion Dust[/item] for one disenchant; 2-3g)
[item]Greater Eternal Essence[/item] 29.1% (9-12g)
[item]Large Brilliant Shard[/item] 2.7% (13-15g)
if it was for you to get one [item]Illusion Dust[/item] then you will lose the gold.

*current AH prices on my server, prices on your server might vary and that will make this work better or not to work at all. i will use the lowest price for the items you will sell and the highest for those you buy.
** to make gold with this, you will have to make more than 10 headbands. And if the leather you used was skinned not bought on the AH, since all profit will be yours.

EX.
Last time i used 13 stacks of rugged leather x 4.80g a stack i spent 62.4g that makes ~ 21 bands. I did them all at once. including the mail and the vendor matts it all cost me ~ 84g

the results of the disenchantments are:
2 x [item]Large Brilliant Shard[/item] x 13g = 26g
6 x [item]Greater Eternal Essence[/item] x 9g = 54g
28 x [item]Illusion Dust[/item] x 2g = 56g
--------------------------------------------------------------------
total DE 136g
cost -84g
--------------------------------------------------------------------
profit 52g
--------------------------------------------------------------------
if it wore for you to use your own leathers 136-21(vendor/mail cost) = 115g would be profit.
as a lvl 55-60 it will be very easy to farm rugged leather, and there will always be some on the ah.

I just use the AH for that extra gold that i can't pass, just using 10 min of my day. And it just makes you feel so good the next day you log and find your mail box filled with sales from AH.

Once you will have around 100g to rotate you will start to see a difference.

In this day, when all the high lvls have all the gear, all the instances done oh so many times, ppl go back low lvl pvping making twinks...all these twinks will need enchants on weapons/armor all of those enchants will use these matterials. Why? Because the highest enchants that use the outland materials will have a lvl requirement for the item it is cast on. and they will cost much more gold. And thats why ID/GEE/LBS will always sell for a lot of gold, high lvl players will always have it for that extra edge.

Once you will have around 100g to rotate you will start to see a difference.

I know lvl 60 or higher will have no problem in farming this leather of mobs in azeroth faster than on any other outland mob.

Guide to getting enough money for 40 and 60 mount.

Ok many new warcrafters struggle to get their lvl 40 and 60 epic mount. This guild will give you tips on how to get enough money for just that and very easily without too much hassle in the early levels. *note* this was my first main character I was leveling and I took note of alot of details so it can be done by new players.

lvl 1-40*
-Once you start at lvl 1 and start leveling through you will pick up lots of junk and scraps from monsters you kill which you should vendor for cash. Once high enough you should learn mining and skinning and get stacks (20) of items from these professions and sell it at A.H (auction house) (ask a guard of directions if you don't know were it is), in mining a stack of copper on our server sells for 2 - 2.5g and a stack of leather scraps sells for around 1 - 1.5g, and leather works buy them to get up leather working fast. Keep selling all the junk and stacks and once your lvl 30 you will be required to do no questing at all. When my lvl 62 paladin was lvl 40 i had only 10g but from lvl 30-40 i just kept doing scarlet monastery (SM) and once i hit lvl 40 i had around 90g which was just enough for my lvl 40 mount, *i still sold all the junk I got and sold the old amour that I didn't need anymore, and still sold stacks form professions.

lvl 40-60*
-Here is a big part because your saving money again!, this time needing 600g. Now I kept doing the same with all the stacks and junk but once at lvl 45-50 the quests gave good money and at lvl 50 I started farming cloth of different mobs including satyr mobs in Felwood lvl (51-53). They drop good world drops if your lucky, drop 2-10 silver, heaps of rune cloth that sells easily for good money at A.H and sometimes drop felcloth which is 1-3g a piece. There easy to find and there all over the north part of Felwood, this is a great farming spot but from time to time you might bump into another farmer. This is my #1 farming spot and once I was lvl 60 i had 500g. From lvl 60-61 I got around 50g from questing and selling items and stacks and farmed shadow motes near the dark portal in southern hellfire. Once I turned all my motes into primals and had 4 i sold them within 10 minutes of putting them into A.H for a super price of 120g and then I went of to buy my mount (in my case do the paladin quest but it required 600g).

There you have it, I hope it helps you alot. It is an average helping guide and I didn't want to make it to detailed and to keep it simple, good luck leveling and buying your mounts,

Guursyd's Gold at 70 Guide

Hello Reader!

This guide is written for any level 70 player looking for ways to increase their gold. For any without copious time to put into playing, I suggest the Daily Quests section. For everyone else, I believe everything is relevant.

Disclaimer: This guide is NOT all inclusive. Please feel free to suggest additions in comments.

Daily Quests

A quick series of daily quests I like to hit are with the two factions Sha'tari Skyguard and Ogri'la.

If you have not done the proper quests to start gaining Ogri'la and Sha'tari Skyguard rep, I suggest wowwiki's pages for instructions on gaining neutral status (if you are neutral, not all quests will be immediately available):
http://www.wowwiki.com/Ogrila
http://www.wowwiki.com/Shatari_Skyguard

-Skettis - Sha'tari Skyguard
To start here I generally take the FP from Shattrath to Allerian Stronghold/Stonebreaker Hold before flying up into Skettis.
Fires Over Skettis: 11g 99s reward
Escape From Skettis: 9g 10s reward
-For this quest, say in general chat "LFG escort" and you will most likely be invited to one quickly. NPC that gives the quest spawns at (60, 75), (68, 74), and (75, 86) randomly. Easily done alone if not ganked.

After turning these in, I take the free Sha'tari flight to Blade's Edge Mountains. The flight option will be available at honored.

Pick up all the following quests before doing any of them.
-BEM - Sha'tari Skyguard
Wrangle More Aether Rays: 11g 99s
Bomb Them Again: 11g 99s

-BEM - Ogri'la
The Relic's Emination: 9g 10s
-Open a chat dialog and type something to help you remember the order. I use 7, 9, 1, and 3 on keypad personally.
Banish More Demons: 11g 99s

Do Banish More Demons and Bomb Them Again one after the other, either forge camp works.

The following total does not take into account vendoring grays you loot. Those should add 2-5 gold.
Total: 66g 16s
Time: ~1hour

Farming

-Motes
Elemental Plateau - Nagrand: Stay away from here unless you want to PvP while farming. This area, just north of the Throne of Elementals (requires flying), houses Water, Fire, Air, and Earth elementals.

Shadowmoon Valley: Fire elementals are in the green lava-flow looking area west of The Hand of Gul'dan. Air elementals can be found slightly east and south of Sanctum of the Stars. Water elementals are slightly south and east of Coilskar Point.

Skettis - Terokkar Forest: Water elementals are in the lake. There is also a large named water elemental mob, just avoid it. It's not worth fighting and has, in my experience, dropped primarily gray items. Aggro radius is, luckily, small. Also beware elite trees when fighting on/near the shore.

Netherstorm: A good place to farm Motes of Mana. Kirin'var Village is a popular (read: BAD) place to farm, from the Mana Seekers. My favorite way of farming is going west from Area 52 to the edge of the land then walk north and east, following the edge killing Phase Hunters. Once I reach the eastern edge of the Ruins of Enkaat, I switch to Mana Wraiths, make my way back to Manaforge B'nar, and start over.

-Aldor/Scryer items
Manafoge (any) - Netherstorm:The blood elves in and around these drop Scryer rep items. According to Thottbot, the Sunfury Warp-Engineers at Manaforge B'nar have the highest drop rate of Arcane Tomes.

Socrethar's Seat - Netherstorm: I love this place. It's the floating island to the extreme northwest corner of the map. Do circles around Socrethar's platform, make sure to swing lower south every few laps to check for Adamantite deposits if you have mining. There are a few Rich Adamantite nodes. All the mobs here drop Aldor rep items and respawn quickly.

Legion Hold - Shadowmoon Valley: Stick to the Wrathwalkers. They go down fast. If you've got good DPS, < 5 seconds. They are pretty close together, so you can come away from here with very good amounts of Aldor rep items.

Firewing Point - Terokkar Forest: I only mention this one due to the lower level of the NPCs. At 70, these should go down very fast. I don't think I've ever seriously farmed here, but in my visits, I generally leave with an Arcane Tome.

Auction House

Obvious, I know. I would like to suggest the Auctioneer add-on. Scan daily and it will ensure you get a good price for your items while ensuring mostly one listing sales. Scan for at least a week before trusting its pricing. For now, I suggest the Classic suite over Advanced.
http://auctioneeraddon.com/

Enchanting: If you have enchanting, you may notice that Auctioneer includes a tool to give AH values on materials from disenchanting an item. If the AH suggested price is lower than the estimated mat price, then disenchant and sell the mats. I found that most of my greens from farming were best sold this way.

If you don't have enchanting, friends with the skill will most likely do it for you. Be sure to pick someone you trust.

Mining: While not as directly helpful as enchanting, many of the above suggested quests and farming areas take you around places that commonly have nodes. Keep an eye out for them. Bars generally sell better than ore, but check both prices.

It's Over!

I hope this guide is helpful. Again, please note any additional information you feel should be added in comments and I will fact check and update as needed.

Have Enough Money to Buy Mount at Level 40!

Update: I changed the instance levels for Stockades and Deadmines

This guide starts out at level one and ends at level forty, it is designed to help make mount gold the fastest ways possible.

Some of the other auction house/gatherer guides are going to be much better than this one, but not many are directed to lower levels and thus useless to what level range this guide is directed to.

Before we start this guide out. My golden rule: IF YOU NEED IT WEAR IT! IF NOT SELL IT!

Useful AddOns:

AutoProfitX: This addon places a nice little button in the vendor window that, when pressed, sells all greys to the vendor. Saving alot of time.

Cartographer: Many people suggest Cosmos over this map addon, but I like this one much better. In addition to co-ords it places icons of treasure and regents you have found over time. Allowing you to go back and re-collect if need be.

Tips:

Have AutoLoot on constantly (Main Menu > Interface options > Basic Settings) it saves alot of time. The one exception to this is when in instances, DO NOT have autoloot on in an instance. It's a discourtesy and will often get you kicked from the group.

Have two gathering professions by level 10. Be conscientious of what skill is most suited for your area, and change as need be. Gathering becomes less useful as time goes on and professions like Black Smithing and Enchanting begin to make much more money, but as you are a lower level gathering can make you oodles of dough. I suggest having either Herbs and Skinning or Mining and Skinning depending on your area (ie, mining over herbs is unwise if you want quest in Tirisfal Glades or Mulgore, but wise if questing in Durotar and the Barrens). Skinning is great, sell the pelts of animals you skin, easy way to make money whilst gaining experience.

Use a talent calculator. This seriously saves time and money. If you know how you want to specc, then you are less likely want to specc over again and re-speccing is expensive. Specc in the talent tree that would do most damage (ie Warriors specc fury, Rogues specc combat/assassination Priests go shadow and Warlocks go affliction).

Buy bags before going into the second questing area. Try to buy at least two ten slot bags off the auction house, the money that goes into them is refunded in the form of more loot.

Besides to buy bags, don't buy anything you don't need on the auction house. Wasting money on a robe or shiny dagger that's just going to be replaced soon is a very bad idea.

Run instances. I have been call an "instance whore" because I will run an instance any time any place, I suggest going into LFG and go about questing until the group is ready to go, no use standing around. Instances can take forever to get going so quest and grind, or whatever, until the group is ready.

Put 1 of every 2 gold away for mount savings (this is what this guide is for after all).

Sell everything you don't need.

Loot:
Levels 1-10: Sell everything to vendors. Even greens. Nobody on the Auction House will want your level 1-10 stuff except other level 1-10s, which won't be able to pay enough to make it worth the deposit fee (note: some higher levels may want lower level stuff for alts). *

*The two exceptions to this are ore and herbs. Sell them on Auction house. Remember to smelt the ores into bars first, 20 copper bars can make up to 1g on the AH

Levels 11-20: Greys: Sell to vendor. Greens: Up to level 15 sell to vendor, from level 15 on use Auction House(see below on how to use the auction house correctly)(don't go out of your way, selling greens to vendors is okay some times). Blues: Put all blues on Auction House. Blues can make you a lot of money as they are rare.

Levels 21-30: Greys: Sell to vendor. Greens: Put on Auction House. Blues: Put on Auction House

Levels 31-40: Same layout as above.

Souldbound loot: Sell to vendor (even if it's blue, sell it to the vendor if you don't want it or can't sell it on AH.)

Instances:
Run them often. They give great exp and great loot. They can take awhile to get together and get finished so make sure you have a good three or more hours where you can assure playtime. This, of course, is impossible to do all the time, so just do your best.

Levels 1-10: Boo-hoo, you've got no instances! Sad

Levels 11-18: Ragefire Chasm for Horde (Orgrimmar). There are no Alliance instances.

Levels 18-25: Wailing Caverns for Horde (the Barrens). Deadmines for Alliance.

Levels 25-30: Black Fathom Deeps for Both (Darkshore). The Stockades for the Alliance (Stormwind City).

Levels 30-40: Scarlet Monastery (Tirisfal Glades). Preferably Armoury, Cathedral, or Library. Graveyard isn't quite worth it, I've found.

Tips about Instances: Only need what you need to wear, not sell, and ALWAYS ask before needing. Greed everything else.

Instances, however long they take to get a group together, always result in exp and loot. They are worth the time.

Gathering Professions:

Have at least one gathering profession at all times up to level 40.

Gathering professions come with a spell, too. It finds the material you are looking for. If you find a material, it appears as a golden blip on your mini-map (it is identical to the one that shows where questgivers awaiting your return with a finished quest are). Have this on constantly.

Levels 1-30: Skinning and Mining or herbs.

Levels 30-40: If you love skinning, keep it, if not dump it around these levels. Keep the mining or herbs (whichever one you have).

Using the Auction House:

This is a big thing to your success. Using the Auction House properly is the difference between making money and losing it.

Always put auctions up for the longest amount of time (24hrs).

You are more likely to make a sale if you put the auctions up on Friday night, Saturday afternoon, or Sunday afternoon.

Before putting up an auction, make sure to look up other auctions for the same item you are selling. If there are more of the same items on auction do this:

Greens levels 15-25: Sell, at buyout, for 15 silver LOWER than the lowest price the item is going for (unless the price seems ridiculously low) (make the starting bid 10 silver LOWER than the buyout). Even if you would make less money, if you make a sale and no-one else does, you still make more money in the end.

Blues levels 15-25: Sell for an EVEN amount as the highest seller (unless the price seems ridiculously high) (Keep the buyout about 10 silver lower, too). People like blues. Sell them for high and you will probably make a sale anyway.

Greens levels 26-35: Sell 25 silver cheaper than the lowest at buy out. 15 silver cheaper starting bid.

Blues levels 26-35: Sell for an EVEN amount as the highest seller at buyout. Starting bid 20 silver cheaper.

Greens levels 36-40: 50 silver cheaper than lowest. 20 silver lower staring bid.

Blues levels 36-40: Even amount as highest. 25 silver lower starting bid.

If there are none of the same items on auction:

Greens levels 12-25: Sell at 50 silver - 1 gold buyout and make the starting bid 10 silver lower.

Blues level 15-25: Sell at 1 gold - 2 gold buyout 10 silver lower starting bid.

Greens levels 26-35: Sell at 75-1.50 gold buyout and the bidding price 25 silver lower.

Blues levels 26-35: Sell at a 1.50 gold - 3 gold buyout with starting bid 30 silver lower.

Greens levels 36-40: Sell at 2 gold - 4 gold buyout with starting bid 50 silver lower.

Blues level 36-40: Sell at a 10 gold - 20 gold buyout with 75 silver lower starting bid.

Ask around for the prices of blues if there are none on auction, too. You don't want to get ripped off selling a super high-priced item.

By level forty, if you use the tips I gave you you should have enough money to buy your mount right away.

How to make some serious G without buying any.

This is my first guide for wow, like very first, so don't shred it up too much mmk?

I've found that gold, for some reason is important in wow Laughing out loud. This'll be a guide in which i've made lots of gold in the past.

I won't post the obvious:gathering skills, DE epics,ect.

I'll summarize what i've done before and you can build on it.

Farm ZF/hinterland troll elite mobs.

This in from my experience can get you a gold every 6-10 kills depending on what class and how good your skill/gear is. These mobs drop 10-sometimes 20silver a pop. This may not sound like much, but when your a rogue like me with instant poisens and blade furry...killing 20 of them can equal over 2g in less than 2-3min of grinding. These are easy mobs so you can basically just kill 10 of them in a minute or 2. They don't take much to kill and don't dish much dmg back.

I do this over and over until I get bored and then jump into ungoro crater for some more gold (i'm a greedy bastard =D).

Farm for living essences.

I'm a rogue so killing the tarlords in the north of ungoro is a pain in the place where poo comes out for me. This is probebly true for all classes that are melee because these guys can put a spell on you that can slow you down and your attack speed by 25%. This slows my grinding and annoys me, ALOT.
So it's best to grind for gold here if your a mage/hunter/lock because you can keep your distance from these fellas. They have a high drop rate of things called living essences. They're used for making nr gear and other things. I don't know about what the prices on your server are so if they're low.... still get as many as you can for when the price goes up. On my server they sell for around 14g on average. I got about 10 of these things in 1hr of grinding left and right and made 100g in an hour Laughing out loud (i whole sale em). This is also true for the fire elementals in the center of Ungoro because they have a high drop rateof living essences. These things as you all should know are used in fire enchants for weapons (they look bad assed).

Farm for epics

Here's something for you rogues.

I'll mention a couple mobs that dropped epics for me after around 12hrs total over 5days of killing them (i use them usually unless they're not rogue gear). The giant in the east coast of STV drops the gutripper (an epic lvl 40 dagger and a personal fav of mine because it's good all the way to 60)and the calibrated boomstick, both of these sell for 100-150g on the ah. Note: be patient, i've been killing gorlash time and time again and you just need to wait. Also, it's up to you whether or not to use them or sell for your mount. The boomstick gives +1%crit chance and the gutripper does more dmg than most swords till 46-48ish, just to give you an idea.

If your not high enough to do this or you are high enough but not patient enough, then go to tanaris and kill the bucaneers in the bloodsail compount. Also kill Andre Firebeard as many times as you can (he has a higher drop rate than the mobs around him). Also do the quest to collect the 3 map fragments because it gives you a quest to kill a mob with the highest drop rate for the gutripper in the game (bring a healer with you and put yourself as masterlooter).

This one is for if your not high enough to grind in the places i posted above (LEVEL NOW!).

Wetlands is your friend =D

Most people may not know this, but some people like to get pets that are, "different" from everyone else. And they will pay LOTS for it.

There's a special (rare) pet that drops in wetlands thats called a red whelpling from, well, the red whelps (little dragons) that are all over the mid eastern areas. Kill these things (I know they're cute, but gold is shiny Laughing out loud) non stop. I got my first pet in 1hr of grinding and sold it for 34gold on my server. 34g=1hr, worth it? Hey, I'm just giving you advice on how to make gold, not that you should kill helpless animals. Note: This is a RARE (meaning MABYE YOU'LL GET IT) drop. I killed hundreds of these things (they have a high respawn rate) and got it. The same may not be the same for you. So please don't flame me if you don't get it. However, these things are all killable in 1shot at 60. So don't sweat it. If your 20-25 then kill em for xp and you might make a nice chunk of gold at the same time Laughing out loud.

Call me up on zuluhed if ya wanna grind with me in strat dead Laughing out loud

-Good hunting

I'm Poor.. (Making money as a lowbie)

I'm Poor..

Getting money in wow can be frustrating, and trust me high level
players will hate you if you beg for money. If you are fortunate you
may have a high level friend that can be your benefactor and help you
financially until your character can support itself. For the rest of us,
we have to blaze our own trail and become financially independent on
our own. There are lots of ways to make money in warcraft and everyone
has their own ideas on how to do it. I'm going to put in my strategies
and you can use them if you want to. I do well with them.

Bags
Probably the most important thing you need to do to make money is get big bags. I recommend you get big bags as soon as you can afford too. I usually start off with 12 slot bags. They are usually reasonably priced on most servers and will serve you well until you can move up to bigger sizes. Being able to hold more will improve your ability to make money because you won't have to pass up on things because your bags are full and increase efficiency since you won't have to run to town all the time to empty them back out.

Gathering Professions
High level players like to raise their professions quickly, so they tend to buy everything they need to do so out of the auctions house. There is money to be made by selling those materials to them. I feel that the best way to make money when your a low level character is to go get two gathering professions. I prefer mining and skinning personally but you can also choose herbalism. Why do I like mining? Well at early levels copper is pretty easy to find. A stack of 20 copper bars will sell for 1-2 gold on most servers. All you need to do is while you're doing the quests early on mine every copper node you come across. I choose skinning because it doesn't interfere with the find minerals radar on the minimap. If you choose herbalism and mining you will have to switch between find minerals and find herbs radars. You can choose herbalism if you'd like to instead of mining. It is still profitable to pick the flowers and sell them. I just feel I make more money with copper at earlier levels. One thing to note is the Night Elf starting area has absolutely no mining nodes in it. So if your a night elf definately take that into consideration. Check your auction house for prices and make an educated guess on what you will make more money doing. Most of the time mageweave bags (12 slot) sell for ~2g on most servers. So with your first few copper sales replace your bags. You need bags more than you need nice armor. Life is so much easier when you got big bags.

Crafting Professions
There is a circle of life in crafting and before you get too concerned about wanting to have a crafting profession let me explain it. I have mentioned high level characters like to buy their way through crafts. At low levels you gather and make money from these higher level characters, then when you start getting higher, and have lots of money, you stop gathering and start buying your way through crafts thus helping the next generation of lowbies get rich from their gathering.

Crafting at low levels actually will cost you money. The reason is because you can't craft anything valuable. For example, take the Copper Battle Axe. I went to wow.allakhazam.com and checked that it's normal AH selling price is 30s. But the estimated cost of the materials is 1g 32s. So if you craft that axe, you just threw 1g into the garbage. This is true for almost all lower level craftable items. So what I do is sell the materials and then with that extra money I just go buy something I want. Also, at lower levels it's very taxing to keep your craft skill high enough that you can make things you can actually use. And many times you'll need to go spend money in the auction house to get the more rare materials needed to craft things to keep your skill current.

I gather ore and skins until about level 40. I usually have 500g or more when I ding 40. I have more than enough to cover the cost of a mount, training and new fancy armor. At this point, I usually spend a couple hours raising one craft and will have it caught up enough that I can make items I can use at 40 and usually runs me about 100-150g to do this. Consider the average player, They have a profession or two that may or may not be current and possibly enough to buy their mount. More than once I have seen people begging in guild chat for help getting their mount and have grouped with players above 45 that still haven't got a mount. Meanwhile, I have more gold than I know what to do with. Subtracting a mount, training, skilling up a profession, and new gear. I'm usually still sitting on at least a hundred gold and usually much more. And hey, if I want to just keep gathering that's just more money in the bank. Most people think they are doing themselves a huge favor by leveling their craft on their way to 70. I just smile when they say this.

Be Smart About What You Buy
Another thing I want to add is to make sure you are getting a good deal on what you buy in the auction house. If it costs 8 gold and isn't a major upgrade, don't spend the money. You don't need to update your gear every level. Wait until a piece is about 5 levels below you before you change it out, unless you find a bargain. The less you spend, the more you have. If you come across a blue item that isn't bind on pickup, I recommend you sell it rather than equip it. The blue item will normally sell for enough to buy several green items at least and you can turn what would be an upgrade to 1 piece of equipment into an upgrade to several pieces of equipment. Once you have a couple hundred gold tucked away it won't matter as much if you decide to just go ahead and equip it, but early on selling it will be extremely beneficial.

The Auction House Game
The auction house is a great resource for making money, if you're willing to do a little work. You can search the auction house for underpriced items and buy them and sell them for more. There is an addon called auctioneer that scans the AH and over time will help you pick out underpriced items. I do this manually. I set the AH to only show me rare items or better. Then I have it sort it by the lowest current bid. I usually check out everything that is under 30g. I can now just pick out which ones are worthwhile but at first I had to look everything up. If you have any question about the value of an item look it up on either wow.allakhazam.com or www.wowhead.com. They post the average price of items and I find them a useful resource for both knowing what I should be expecting to pay for an item and knowing what is a good price to sell the item for. Lots of people check these sites too. If I notice a blue axe for 8g then you check wowhead and it says it's worth 20. I buy it, then sell it for 18 or so. I do this so that if someone were to check on it and see it's worth 20g they will think "Hey, that's a little cheaper than it should be." and they are more likely to buy it. I find if I list it exactly the same or slightly higher it takes more attempts to sell it. In my opinion, it's better to get it sold and have the money even if it is for slightly less.

General Tips
Find a vender that sells shirts. I like to buy [Common Gray Shirts] and sell them in the auction house. I buy them from the vendor for 4 silver and I stick them up on the auction house for 50 silver. I found they sell really well. The dark color looks good on rogues and I see a lot of them wearing it. Also, tailors don't make gray shirts so there isn't going to be a million of them up so you won't have much competition. People just don't realize they can buy them a lot cheaper from a vendor. I usually put 1 or 2 per day up and they almost always sell. After I have a good bit of savings in the bank I usually stop doing this but it's more from laziness than anything else. In Orgrimmar and Stormwind the vender that sells these is just a stone's throw away from the auction house.

The meat that drops from low level animals is more valuable than most people realize. Things like stringy wolf meat only sell to vender for a few copper but I don't usually have a problem getting 50 silver out of a stack of 20 meat. The meat is handy for hunters that are too lazy to find meat for their pets or people that want to raise their cooking profession quickly. And like I mentioned before high level players normally find it a lot faster and easier to buy their way through professions.

Limited Inventory Items are also good. I don't go out of my way to find these but when I see them I almost always buy them. These are usually recipes but can be other things. These are things that have a small number in the corner that indicates how many a vendor has. This means that if they just have one and you buy it, no one else can get it for a while. So you can buy a recipe for 10s off a vendor, put in the auction house for a gold and probably sell it real easy. I usually check wowhead or allakhazam before buying it just to be sure. There are a few that aren't worth the time but a majority of the time you'll be fine to just grab it and list it.

In Conclusion
I really hope this helps. I use these strategies every time I decide to make an alt and have tested it out on a few different servers (alliance and horde) to be sure it's not just the economy on one server. I feel if you implement these strategies into your play, you will easily be able to get established in the early levels and have more than enough money to buy your 40 mount and beyond. There may be better ways to make money as a high level character but I truely feel you can't go wrong using this as you level up.

Jointosmano's Money making guide!Earn 200 gold per hour!

Eye HI! My name is Jointosmano. Im playing on the Silvermoon server.
In this several minutes i will talk about how to get 200 gold without AH and their tricks.
It is a little bit boring but it works! The solution is:PRIMAL WATER
First:

  1. You have to find a place to farm:I say to you what is the best place!IF you come out of Shattrath city and go to the Northest place in Terokkar forest you'll see a lake!In this lake there are fishes what you have to farm. The creature name is: Shimmerscale Eel.Why it is the best palce to farm? These small fishes drop Mote of water and sometimes Mote of mana!you know that 10 mote of water=Primal water.
In most of the times they drop 2 but they drop one about every 3-4(Depends on the droprate)
  2. Sometimes They drop green stuffs wich you can use or DE or sell. The important part is that you can kill these easily Cuz' they just have about 3k health. On my server 1 Primal water is about 20 gold! Jawdropping!
  3. I farmed there 30 minutes and they jsut drop 10 motes of water!I went back there and I farmed there for 4 more minutes and i had the second primal water. So the drop rate is sometimes good sometimes bad.

I farmed there for 2 hours and one day later i had about 350+gold. I think this is the best place to farm cuz you can get easily 200 gold/hour just farming these creatuers!
Affliction locks can kill them easily(im also an aff. lock)
Here is how do you can kill them fast
  1. Make a Voidwalker
  2. Cast:Siphon life and Corruption then make one ore two Life taps.
  3. Cast Drain life and if you have maximum health athen Life tap again and Drain life again. If you do this you can kill one in 10 secs and you dont have to drink Drinks. Smiling Eye

Pls rate it and COMMENT it!!!

How to make good money (lvls 58+)

when you reach Outland you will be fascinated by all the uber armour and weapons cmpared to the ones in Azeroth, but one thing that can get you thinking is how to get money. You might get say 200g in your first few hours in outland but to get a REALLY big amount of money there's one thing that beats em all and thats primal water grinding

The place that you grind these are in a little lake situated just North of Shattrath you will surely see it if you've travelled here before. there are eels in there called shimmerscale eels and they only have 3k of health! if you have a good spec for damage you will beat these guys up easily. depending on server the drop rate for the motes of water can be fairly good, alright or bad but im sure that most of the time it is good but if its bad find something to else to grind. Mote of water drops of these critters and 10 motes turn into a primal water which = 20g
so do the math

approx 5 primal waters in an hour = 100g
10 primals in 2 hours = 200g

do about an hour to 2 hours a day and you can be rich, and if your really desperate grind for the whole day! Smiling

i hope this guide helps

Low level and High level money making help

So either you just made a character and are wondering,"How do all those 70's get so much money?" or even, "How can I make just the simplest amount of money?" Well here are you're answers. They are simple, and easy to perform. I bet you're wondering, "But, how can it be so easy?" and, "What do I need to do that?"

There's really only four things you need. Five if you count smarts. "What are those four things?"
1. The addon Auctioneer (http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/78/). This addon is so good, and I don't know how I could operate without it. Auctioneer gives you information that people will pay money for! You know when you see people saying in the trade channel, "WTS (Insert item name here)." Well Auctioneer helps here, a lot, especially when it comes to the Rares and Epics. If you've already scanned the Auction House using its "Scan" button, then you can just simply click the item and it should say an median(average) price under the description. This will help you with the whole Buying High and Selling Low topic.

Many people don't describe how to use Buying Low and Selling High in detail, but I will. So you see a Rare or an Epic in the Auction House or in the trade channel, and you're thinking, "Well, that sounds a little cheap," or "I think I can profit off of this deal." Auctioneer answers these questions. First off, check the prices of the same item of different sellers, check who's the lowest, and check Auctioneer and see if it makes the median BO(Buyout).

Another good Buy Low/Sell High idea for high and low levels, is the Cloth and Recipe market. Have you ever seen a stack of Linen, wool, silk, mageweave, or netherweave for about 2g less than it should be? There's your chance to profit! Now I'm going to take this part from Rummin's Different Niches In The Economy Pt1 guide, because it's such a great idea and I think everyone should know about it. In Rummin's guide, it says to "ask out in Trade channel "WTB Netherweave cloth" if you get replies ask for a price that is 1.5-3g cheaper than AH depending on the AH price. But this means you have to buy in bulk, although you still get more profit in the end. So you've bought 10 stacks of Cloth, for 2g a stack. AH each stack for 4g or depending on what you server demands are (1.5g -3g more than what you bought for). Tactics such as 3.99 BO are effecting because people think they are paying 3G but in reality they are paying 4G." (Rummin's Different Niches In The Economy Pt1) I have used this idea endless times, and profited so much off of it. Lot's of credit and respect goes out to Rummin for that.

Recipes are a major Buy Low/Sell High heaven. There are many people who do not know how much a recipe is, so they post it for a very small price. Can you say MONEY? Yes, in fact, there is a world rare recipe that goes for 300g normally, and is found at 50g lots of times. Now if you do see that, please buy it and sell it back for a huge profit and make me proud. There are lots of recipes that can be sold back for a better price and profited on, which Auctioneer helps with a lot.

2. The profession Skinning is an amazing proffesion. For most servers, leather is in HIGH demand. What better then to supply the people and get paid mucho grande gold?

Well you know that if you supply them enough leather, the demand will go down, hence prices dropping. But you know what? I'll share a secret with you that works for me about 90% of the time. I mass skin.. and don't put any on the AH. Demand goes a tad up, prices go up a little, I wait patiently. Most of the time, the demand keeps going up, which means the price keeps going up. Eventually, the market is back where it was at before, and I profit in the end, selling all the leather that I skinned while waiting. This idea is not for the impatient. It only works about 90% of the time, so don'
