Guides on how to farm reputation points best and what rewards you can get by doing so.
Argent Crusade Reputation Guide
The Argent Crusade is a faction created from the union of the Argent Dawn and the Order of the Silver Hand. It was formed shortly after the Battle for Light's Hope Chapel. He assumed a leadership position over the Argent Dawn and united the two factions in order to take the fight against the Lich King to Northrend.
Author's Note: This is my first guide ever written so feedback is very welcome. If this guide is received well, I'm going to write more.
The Argent Crusade has something in store for everyone, but just like all the other factions, you need a significant amount of reputation to receive the ability to get access to them. In this section are all possible ways described to gain reputation with the Argent Crusade.
Once you are friendly or higher with the Argent Crusade, you can buy their tabard at the Argent Crusade Quartermaster. When you wear it, all reputation gained while killing mobs in a 5-man dungeon or heroic, will go to your standing with the Argent Crusade.
Here is a map where you can find the Argent Crusade Quartermaster:

There are a lot of quests available to you to improve your standing with the Argent Crusade. And you can complete the most of them while you are still leveling! Below is a list with all the normal quests you can do to earn reputation, and how much reputation you get awarded by completing them. Faction specific quests are indicated with an [A] for Alliance Quests, and an [H] for horde quests. Quest Chains are separated with blank lines.
Howling Fjord
Dragonblight
Zul'Drak
Icecrown
There are only 2 daily quests for the Argent Crusade. I guess this compensates the massive amount of normal quests you can do. The daily quests are:
Pa’trol requires you to a task for 4 different memebers of the Argent Crusade. And you get 500 extra reputation if you succeed in completing it under 20 minutes.
A big help when trying to get it done under 20 minutes is this addon (Thanks to trollvink) It shows the ingredients you need for Dr' Finklestein's Task. Which can normally be a pain to find.
Instead of describing in words how to do these quests, here is a great video on how to do them.
Argent Crusade rewards can be bought from the Quartermaster in Icecrown:

The rewards at the following reputation levels are:

Huh?
Ever seen one of those people with 'The Bloodsail Admiral' title? Searched your achievement section for it? Well, it's not in there.
It's actually a Feat of Strength, so it only appears once you've got it...
Avast Ye, Admiral!
...And who wouldn't want an achievement that says THAT?
Well, first you have to get the Bloodsail Admiral Hat.
And how do you do that?
You complete the quest Avast Ye, Admiral! which is available at Friendly reputation with the Bloodsail Buccaneers.
Ring a bell? You may remember beating them senseless for a bit 40 or so levels ago.
Check out your reputations tab (U) and check your Bloodsail Buccaneers rep. Depending on how many quests you did for Booty Bay your Bloodsail reputation could be anywhere between Neutral and Hated: 10,000/21,000.
I followed Jame's Horde guide and was at around 23,000.
So... How do I get my Bloodsail rep back up?
This is the fun bit. There are various mobs you can kill that will give you Bloodsail reputation, but the best (presuming you can kill them, and if you can't, it's really not worth doing this) are Booty Bay Bruisers.
To work out how long it will take you:
(Replace 'x' with your starting reputation, in points above zero. i.e 35,673/36,000 Hated is 35,673. 2,999/3,000 Hostile is 36,000+2,999=38,999.)
45000-x=y
then
y/25=Number of Booty Bay mobs you'll have to kill. Still interested?
Doing this will absolutely without a doubt bring all your Cartel reps to 0/36000 Hated.
This means there are various NPCs you cannot interact with, and you cannot use the Neutral Auction House.
Later on in the guide I will explain the various best methods of improving your rep.
Be very careful to think about what this entails. I had a friend who was unable to do the Master cooking quest in Gadgetzan because he did this with me, and he could not be bothered to get his reputation back, resulting in him not being able to complete the Winter Veil achievements (he was going for the Violet Proto-Drake).
Hilarity ensued.
This would also make the Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza harder (but not impossible).
Does that still not deter you?
It gets worse.
The Bruisers have not been buffed up with WotLK (as of 3.0.2), so they are still 68, and will be grey to level 80s and give 5 rep per kill.
Level 80s may want to wait for them to be buffed up, or complain repeatedly on the forums.
As of 3.0.8, Bruiser's have been buffed up to 77.
Okay, I still want to do this. Got any tips?
Yes. Bring a group, although with any group larger than 5 the rep gains become reduced.
Also, while KillCounter is not WoWMatrix supported, it is the best (and only) kill counting macro I can find, so you and your group can celebrate the 1000 kill marker. I also find it fun to see how many times I've killed Alliancenoob-Skullcrusher.
It is surpisingly easy to get a group together, just make sure people know what they are getting in for.
An ideal group composition would be a hunter (they can control their pets, which is a good way to make a safe pull).
A mage (excellent AoE, plus water.)
A Death Knight tank (their AoE comes in handy, since mobs get loose very easily, also Frost Walk is great).
A shaman (Chain Heal which is great with all the loose aggro, plus Water Walking allows eating and drinking while the lazy DK is rezzed, as well as useful versatile buffs from totems and the occasional large boost from Bloodlust. Visit Shamantopia today).
And another Off tank/DPS, just to make sure the mage gets no aggro.
The healing role is not too demanding, as I managed to do it as an instance-blue enhancement shaman (with a spec which allowed me plenty of +int gear). In total I did around 1 million points of heal.
The traditional solo strategy is to stand on the balcony by the tunnel exitting Booty Bay and abduct and murder the two patrolling Bruisers seperately.
Anything else to know?
Yeah. Past Unfriendly attacking something spawns more mobs (although this happens to a degree earlier) and entering buildings also spawns mobs.
A good group tactic is to either sit in the water in the centre of BB and get the hunter's pet to pull and then die (so bring lots of meat)or to move around Booty Bay, starting at where the ship docks, and ending up in the Inn, having killed Revilgaz and Seahorn.
I would also advise stopping off to kill the Ally flight master.
It's fun to be the victim of several /rudes, and he respawns in about 10 seconds flat. It's also worth noting that by clearing the inn you are screwing up many people's questing.
But ah well.
Oh, and about those Bruisers...
They net you, so running is going to be hard, and you shouldn't run because they also have the games best knockback, a gun attack which, if you get 'chained' causes you to be flung backwards.
If you're in the right position, you can 'fly' a loooong way.
If you see a Bruiser with a gun out, tell everyone to kill them, and you may also want to make a macro saying that. If you're only being attacked by one (say, if you're the mage) get everyone to do a /a [your name].
Eventually, people will need to fly to Grom'Gol to get repairs/restock. Before you start your grind, and while your BB rep is still above Unfriendly, repair often.
As everyone will start with a different rep, you will reach different points at different times.
When you reach Neutral, you can do the quest Dressing the Part, which gives you a bit of generic pirate clothing.
This may be a good time when a few of you have Neutral for the others to nab a repair and pick up some meat for the hunter.
There are three (although one is a reasonably pointless breadcrumb).
Neutral:Dressing the Part-Fleet Master Firallon
Friendly:Avast ye, Scallywag-'Pretty Boy' Duncan which leads to:
Friendly:Avast ye, Admiral!-Fleet Master Firallon.
Only the final one requires any completion, you have to kill Revilgaz and Seahorn and then you have your achievement, hat and bizarrely summonable parrot.
NB: The two have a small spawn time of ten or so minutes, so you may want to stop killing them a little while before you hit Friendly.
Well, first you have to ask yourself whether you want to keep your Bloodsail rep.
NOTE: In 3.1, Bloodsail and Cartel reps are all part of the most 'Insane' achievement yet, so it's time for some Gordok farming for the really, really, REALLY psychotic among you. Seriously. I play this game way too much, but if you're going for this, get a life. SERIOUSLY.
Things get a lot easier if you don't want to. You keep the achievement when you go back to Hated 0/36000.
Losing Bloodsail rep:
The fastest way to get everything back to Neutral is cloth turnins.
To steal WoWWiki's figures (I can't find my own) you will need:
Mending Old Wounds: Ratchet - 168 stacks of Linen, 336 Empty Vials.
Traitor to the Bloodsail: Booty Bay - 84 stacks of Silk, 168 Red Dye.
War at Sea: Gadgetzan - 42 Mageweave, 84 Strong Flux.
Making Amends: Everlook - 22 Runecloth, 42 Coal.
Keeping Bloodsail Rep:
The fastest way is to get everything to Neutral is farming Dire Maul North for Gordok Shackle Keys for Free Knot! and bringing along 4 Runecloth, 8 Rugged Leather, 2 Rune Thread and the Ogre Tannin found in the instance.
Turning in those mats creates the Ogre suit and gives you 75 rep to all the Cartel factions.
Freeing Knot with the key grants 350 rep to all factions. Getting your reputation back to Neutral from Hated will take (42000/425=98.7) 99 runs of Dire Maul.
Oh, and create the suit first.
Is that it?
Yup.
Oh, and if you're done and a group member isn't, it's up to you whether you stay and help. It's nice if you do, and even if you don't, try and get someone to replace you.
This is my first guide, so any text formatting tips would be welcome, and also any mentions of something that has somehow slipped my mind. Thanks =D
Once you get to level 70, you will soon find that you want to be Revered or Exalted with a lot of factions. You'll need to be Revered to get your Heroic key for each set of instances, and it's likely that at least one faction will have a reputation item that you'll want to buy.
If you don't plan ahead, getting to Revered with Cenarion Expedition can mean a lot of Steam Vaults runs. If you want to avoid that, a little planning and patience will get you Revered with no trouble.
Ways of Earning Reputation
There are a number of ways to earn reputation with the Cenarion Expedition:
With a little planning, you can utilize the easier methods of gaining reputation (low level instance runs and hand ins) to get to Honored status. After that, completing most of the quests available to you will get you to revered before you reach level 70.
Neutral to Honored
Until you reach Honored status, be sure not to complete any quests that will give you Cenarion Expedition reputation. There are quest givers in western Hellfire Peninsula, eastern Zangarmarsh, northern Terokkar forest, and most of the higher level zones as well. If you don't know what type of reputation is rewarded by a quest, look it up on WoWhead.com.
You will utilize two methods to increase your reputation from Neutral to Honored.
Unidentified Plant Parts can be handed in to Lauranna Thar'well at the Cenarion Refuge for reputation. Each set of 10 plant parts will give you 250 reputation. You can farm these all over the area, although it is quicker for herbalists to kill the Bog Lords in the Deadmire. If you want to spend some money, go to the Auction House and purchase 360 plant parts. If you receive any Uncatalogued Species from your Pack of Identified Plants do not turn them in yet.
Alternatively, you can make a few runs to the Underbog and Slave Pens. Killing monsters in here will give you reputation until you're Honored.
If you combine these two methods, you should be able to get to Honored with a couple of instance runs and a little time or money spent on plant parts.
Honored to Revered
First, look in your bag for any Uncatalogued Species that you found from you Package of Identified Plants. Each of these can be handed in for 500 reputation. It's completely random whether or not you get them, but if you hand in 300 plant parts you can expect to get 1-3 of these items.
Next, continue to do all of the quests available to you. First, you should return to Hellfire Peninsula and complete the quests in the western part of that zone. Then, complete the quests available throughout Zangarmarsh. Once you complete the quests available in Terokkar Forest, you should be 10,000 Reputation or so towards Honored.
You will find another large group of quests available in Blade's Edge Mountain. Doing these should be more than enough to push you into Revered status.
Congratulations! You're revered! You have your heroic key for Coilfang Reservoir. If you plan ahead accordingly and save all quests until after you become Honored with the Cenarion Expedition, you can easily get to Revered by level 67 or 68 (when you reach Blade's Edge Mountain).
Good luck, and happy heroics!

Earning Kurenai / Mag'har Reputation
Background and Prerequisites
Probably one of the first things that comes into mind with all of World of Warcraft, is how things would look on you, and how much of a brag it would be to show off your latest Epic. One of the nicer looking mounts is the Kurenai / Mag'har's Talbuk Epic ground mounts, which is a cross between a Ram, and a Unicorn, shall I say.
This guide is to guide you on how you would earn your Kurenai / Mag'har reputation until Exalted to mount those bizarre creatures.
To earn the reputation, you will need to do a series of quests, and grind mobs, and/or turn in Obsidian Warbeads for reputation. There is a catch though. Those beads can be turned in to the Consortium as well. Though the reward for each 10 beads is 500 for Kurenai / Mag'har, and 250 for Consortium. I would advise to check the rewards for both factions, and decide whether or not to turn in these beads to whoever.
First off, I would advise you to hold off until Level 70 to do this process, as it makes things a lot quicker. You will be grinding level 64 mobs. Trying to grind these at under 70 is still doable, but you will probably spend twice the time. It's your choice however.
Quests are the most rewarding for the work involved. Each related quest grants 500 reputation at least, some are 700. Some straightforward quests involving little work grant substantially less.
Follow this link: http://www.wowwiki.com/Kurenai for a comprehensive list of Quests to complete. It has a list of related quests to follow. Obviously, you would be completing some of them as you level from 60 to 70. Some involve group work, and are impossible to solo at lower levels. Another reason to wait until 70 to complete it, as you can easily solo the Elite quests.
Players will start off unfriendly with Kurenai / Mag'har, and have to work up to Exalted.
Finish the quests to earn about 15000 reputation. It will be a breeze at 70.
This is where the guide kicks off. The quests are the easy part. The not so pleasant part is to grind mobs which grant 10 reputation each. Note that while you complete the quests, you will be earning reputation off mobs as well, so that is added toward your reputation count. After finishing the quests, you should be a little under Revered, or about half way, including all the mobs you destroy. And this is where your grinding journey starts.
It's not going to be easy, but since when do good Epics come at an easy price?
The Grind
Once you have no more quests to turn in, you will have to resort to grinding mobs for 10 reputation each, and also handing in Obsidian Warbeads. Every 10 beads grant 500 exact reputation points, and is a relaxing way to earn those points. However, it is your choice to choose Kurenai / Mag'har or the Consortium. This guide assumes every bead looted goes towards Kurenai / Mag'har.
Every mob you kill in Nagrand will grant you reputation to Kurenai / Mag'har of value 10 each. If you do the mathematics, halfway until Revered is just 6000/12000. And after that comes 0/21000. That's 27000 points we're talking about, and that is 2700 mobs to grind kill. That's a lot to kill. Though fear not, beads are handy. Each mob has a 33% drop rate of beads. Meaning every 30 mobs you kill will grant you 10 beads, and hence 500 reputation. Add that to the 30 mobs you killed, that gives you 800 reputation. Easy? Perhaps.
I grinded this with a 70 Holy Priest, and let me tell you, it was such a bore, I had to move my TV from the lounge into the room, with Lethal Weapon 4 in the background, and Uncle Benny's laughing gas mishap to make my day.
I find that the Burning Blade Ruins is the best way to grind. I have tried other areas, and they were too crowded with other mobs, making pulling easier, and hence frustrating. Other mobs also involve spell locks, which further slow things down. Burning Blade Ruins seems the best place. The drop rate is excellent. Just a little over 35% for beads for me. The cash drop is decent. And the world drops are excellent too. I grinded all the way to Exalted from there.

The area involves a cave, and an open area. Players will move from outside to inside to grind mobs. The respawn rate is excellent might I say. The only downtime I had was through drinks. Once you enter the cave to clear, mobs will have respawned outside, once you finish with the inside.
Persevere, and you will finally reach Exalted.
Now the Mathematics
You all know that mobs grant 10 reputation each, and each mob has an assumed 33% drop rate. Combine 10 beads to give 500 reputation, which effectively means 50 reputation per bead.
Calculate your Exalted offset. Meaning the value left to grind. Say for example, you need 21000 reputation left.
The formula goes;
21000 = (50/3)*X + 10X
Where X is the estimated number to grind.
It works out to become;
21000 = 26.666666667*X
Bang that into a calculator, and work out an estimate of mobs to grind.
X then equals 787.5 number of ogres to kill. An estimate of course.
Drop rates vary, and depend on chance. But an average of 33% is a safe assumption. Like I said, My overall drop rate was a little over 35%. Though minute, It makes a good few hours of difference.
So therefore, after doing all your quests, you need to grind 788 mobs in Nagrand to become Exalted.
Don't forget that you need to turn in the beads, as this guide accounts for them.
What I did was grind until 6000/21000, and by that time, I had 300 beads in my bags. I returned to Telaar (Alliance), and turned them in.
Tada. Grind it, and you will be Revered in no time.
Note: You need to realise that beads can only be handed in 10 at a time. So, make sure you complete 10 to hand in. There's no point knowing you're 450 away from Exalted with 9 beads in the bag, only to discover that you need 10 to complete it. Prepare yourself for that last bead.
And might i say, it is worth the grind to ride this colourful mount!

Find me on Dunemaul EU!

Disclaimer: To avoid any confusion about this guide, I wanna tell you that The Silver Coventant is not really like other reputation factions. The guide will be based on a short grind every day, doing a few daily quests. Aslo, that does not exist a "tabard" like the other northrend factions (you cannot get reputation through instances, sadly).
Table of Contents:
A lot of the quest at the Argent Tournament will be based on mount-combat. Mount-combat can be quite confusing at first, but I'm sure that this section will cover the basics for you.
Before you can ride your mount, you must have a lance equipped. You can get your lance by right clicking the lance rank, at the entrance of the alliance pavilion, and the mounts outside the pavilion. Now, let's take a look at the action bar of your mount:

Each spells has its unique way of use. The mount is a combat mount just to make it clear, so I will explain them in a fight-releated way.
Before the fight: Make sure you've stacked the Defend buff at 3 stacks.
The charge: Either just use charge, or you can cast Shield-breaker, then run a few steps backwards and cast charge.
During the fight: Use Thrust every time it's possible. Make sure you have 3 stacks all the time of your Defend ability. Keep your enemy's stacks at zero, for a lot more damage.
End of the fight: Heal yourself up with the Refresh Mount ability, so you're ready to the next fight.
Hopefully you're now tuned abit in on how The Argent Tournament works, so lets start off!
==Note== You need to complete the Black Knight Chain quest to get the known group quest at the Champion rank: Threat From Above. You can follow it here:
Eric's Guide to The Black Knight
[80] Mastery of Shield-Breaker
). Then just nuke the Defend stacks down until you get the quest completed on the ranged target dummies.
[80] Mastery of Charge

[80] Mastery of Melee

Now, 4 other quests should be availible to you:
[80] A Worthy Weapon , [80]The Edge of Winter and [80] A Blade Fit For A Champion is random, means that they change daily which one you can pick up.
[80] Learning the Reins

[80] Training in the Field

[80] The Edge of Winter (Random)

[80] A Blade Fit For A Champion (Random)

[80] A Worthy Weapon (Random)

[80] Up to the Challenge
[80] The Grand Melee

[80] A Valiant's Field Training

[80] At The Enemy's Gates

[80] The Edge of Winter (Random)

[80] A Blade Fit For A Champion (Random)

[80] A Worthy Weapon (Random)

Doing these 4 daily quests should bring you 5 Valiant Seals, and around 1000 reputation points with The Silver Conventant.
You should now be able to turn in the 25 seals for [80] A Valiant's Charge. Do that, and get the follow up: [80] The Valiant’s Challenge. In this quest, you'll basically have to fight a champion like you had to fight Valiants earlier. This one is just abit more difficult. When you challenge him he/she'll at 3 stacks Defend, he'll also do a lot more to get your stacks down. The quest is soloable, though.
When you're done, turn in your quest back at the Alliance Pavilion. You should now be a Champion, and if you were exalted with your racial faction, you'll also get the title"[Name] of [Home City]" example: Voodóo of Gnomeregan, congratulations!
Now, when you've mastered one faction, our goal is to master every faction! It's up to you who's next, just pick one the quest that the faction grand champions back in the alliance pavilion offers you (example: if you take the Stormwind quest, you'll be championing Stormwind). You will now start as a Valiant for you new faction AND you will still be able to pick up the Champion dailies from your own faction. All the previous quest from the Valiant phase should now be able again, and they fit very well together with the new champion dailies that should be availible to you:
[80] Among the Champions

[80] Taking Battle to the Enemy
==Note== This can be done together with [80] A Valiant's Field Training, as they are very close to each other.

[80] Battle Before the Citadel

[80] Threat From Above

When you reach Champion for the firs time, you should be about honored with the Silver Covenant. Our goal is now to master all the other factions, which should bring you to exalted. So from now on, you should grind the 8 availible quest every day. For that, I've made a short quest circuit you can use.
Pick up:
Your questlog should now look like this:

I assume that you know how to complete every quest, so I'll just be listening the quests in which order to do them, and where.

1. Warm up by completing [80] The Grand Melee, the Valiant duelists can be found just north of the Alliance pavilion. You need to defeat 3 to complete the quest.
2. When you're done with [80] The Grand Melee, move further to the Champions for [80] Among the Champions. The champions can found in the southern part of Argent Tournament grounds.
==Note== These are a bit harder than normal, and will might be difficult for some people to deal with.
3. Mount up, and run west until you reach a camp of some Cult of the Damned members. Kill 15 for [80] Taking Battle To The Enemy.
4.(Optional) Run even further west until you reach Chillmaw's spawn point in the mid-north part of Icecrown for [80] Threat From Above . Chillmaw will also spawn 3 adds which is also needed for the quest (means you can't skip them). Chillmaw is defintely soloable, but 2 or 3 players is optimal.
==Note== Threat from Above is a group quest, common name is "TFA".
5. When you're done (if you did part 4) with Chillmaw, mount up and run south until you're just about west of Ymirheim where you will find Converted Heroes. Kill 10 of them for [80] A Valiant's Field Training.
6. Run further south to Corp'rethar. Get your Argent Mount, and run into the camp of Scouts, Footmen, Commanders and Lieutenants. Kill 10 Scouts, 15 Footmen, 3 Lieutenants and 3 Commanders for [80] Battle Before The Citadel and [80] At The Enemy's Gates.
7. Now do whatever quest you have ([80] A Worthy Weapon , [80]The Edge of Winter or [80] A Blade Fit For A Champion). If you had [80] A Worthy Weapon , you pick up the Winter Hyacinths needed for the quest.
8. Turn in your quests back at the Argent Tournament Grounds when you're done.
Gold Gained: 106 Gold, 9 Silver Rewards: 5 Champion's Seal (+ 40 gold or 1000+ reputation with homecity factions) Time spent: Aprox 20 min
Well, continuing this every day should bring you exalted on about a month or so. The Silver Covenant is a very hard and challenging reputation to get reputation with. Good luck on the grinding, I'll gladly enjoy reading you comments on how your journey has ben!
I did mixed a short list together of horde and alliance achievements that involved Argent Tournament. You will find each factions achievement at the list, good luck achieving them!
Random - Outside the categories.
Champion - Become a Champion with any of your faction's races.
Champion of the Alliance/Horde - Become Champion with all of your faction's races.
Exalted Champion - Become Champion with any of your faction's races and earn Exalted status with them.
Exalted Champion of the Alliance/Horde - Become Champion with all of your faction's races and earn Exalted status with all of them.
Exalted Argent Champion - Become Champion with all of your faction's races, and earn Exalted status with them and The Argent Crusade.

The only way to earn reputation with the Tribe is to do daily quests. They reward 1700 reputation daily. Therefore, it will take 8 days from Honored to Revered and 13 days from Revered to Exalted. There are 3 daily quests avaiable each day. Chicken Party! is available other days. And the other quests are offered randomly (as far as I can tell) from the following pools. If you complete all 8 daily quests available you unlock the Honorary Frenzyheart achievement.

Chicken Party!: Mount up. Run around the camp right clicking on chicken untill you have 12.
Pool 1:
A Hero's Headgear: Go North of the Sun-Touched Pillar and kill Venture Co. Ruffians and Excavators for the explosives. Once you get them fly to Stormwright's Shelf and kill a Stormwatcher use the explosives on it's body for the quest objective.
Rejek: First Blood: Go to the locations on this map. Kill a Saphire Hive Wasp and use the Blade on it. Repeat for a Hardknuckle Charger and for 3 Mistwhisper Gorlocs.
Strength of the Tempest: Fly to Stormwright's Shelf and kill Aqueous Spirits and Storm Revenants untill you have 3 Essences of the Monsoon and 3 Essences of the Storm. Then go to an unmarked monolith at (22,33) and get hit by lightning to complete the quest.
The Heartblood's Strenght: The quest text tells you what to do. The Goretalon Matriarch is located at (59,23).
Pool 2:
Kartak's Rampage: Fly to Sparktouched Haven and kill Sparktouched Gorlocs untill you get 50 kills or once you have the blood you can go to Altar of Kartak at (23,83) and merge with Kartak. Then go back to killing Gorlocs.
Secret Strenght of the Frenzyheart: Fly to the Nesingwary Camp and talk to Grimbooze Thunderbooze for the ale. Go back to Kartak's Hold and use the Berries. Now drink the newly created drink in your inventory. Proceed to go East to Sparktouched Haven and kill 30 Sparktouched Gorlocs.
Tools of War: Go to Sparktouched Haven and kill 50 Sparktouched Gorlocs.

The Different Factions
You may already know this but I figured it would be best to give you the details of all factions you get in AV.
The best way to gain reputation in AV for each faction is to:
List of Items
Here is a list of the different turn-ins and how much faction they give you:
I hope you enjoyed reading this
Once you get to level 70, you will soon find that you want to be Revered or Exalted with a lot of factions. You'll need to be Revered to get your Heroic key for each set of instances, and it's likely that at least one faction will have a reputation item that you'll want to buy.
If you don't plan ahead, getting to Revered with Honor Hold can mean a lot of Shattered Halls runs. If you want to avoid that, a little planning and patience will get you Revered with no trouble.
There are five ways to gain reputation with Honor Hold:
Neutral to Friendly
When you arrive in Outland, do not do any quests. You should not do these until you have exhausted the other methods of Reputation gain and become Honored with Honor Hold.
Until you are friendly, you should use one of two methods of gaining reputation. The first is to run Hellfire Ramparts or Blood Furnace - the same thing you'll do in the next step.
While waiting to find a group, though, you can do some solo grinding to increase your reputation. There are a number of Orc mobs that will yield 5 reputation per kill. For a complete list, go to Wowhead's page on Honor Hold.
Killing any of these mobs will do, but I found that the Path of Glory is fairly dangerous for a level 58 or 59. I would suggest killing the Orcs along the wall to the south of Hellfire Citadel, namely Shattered Hand Mages, Shattered Hand Guards, and Shattered Hand Acolytes.
Friendly to Honored
Once you reach friendly, these mobs will no longer give you Reputation. At this point, your only option is to continue to run Hellfire Ramparts and Blood Furnace. This may take a while. Your patience will pay off. You will also get a lot of gear that will help you get through the next four or five levels.
You'll get around 700 reputation per run (633 for Ramparts, 750 for Blood Furnace), and you need 6000 Reputation to reach Honored. That's about nine runs in all.
Here are a few tips to speed up the process.
Honored to Revered
Now comes the easy part. Do the rest of the quests in Hellfire Peninsula! Doing all of the quests will yield about 11,000 reputation. This will leave you just short of Revered, and doing one Shattered Halls run once you hit 70 will finish you off.
Of course, if you're human, doing all of those quests will be just enough to push you over the hump at Revered. When I levelled my Human Paladin, I hit Revered with Honor Hold at level 63.
The initial grind may seem tedious, but it will save you a lot of time in the long run. Use the time in between runs to grind on monsters around Hellfire, or go to Zangarmarsh and begin searching for Unidentified Plant Parts.
Good luck, and happy heroics!

Horde Expedition is the combined forces of the Horde in Northrend, which are:
These four factions are sub-factions to Horde Expedition. When you gain reputation with one of these four factions, half of the reputation earned will count towards your reputation with the Horde Expedition. This means you will need to be either exalted with two of these sub-factions in order to be exalted with Horde Expedition, or you can have the equivalent amount of reputation spread across the four.
By raising your reputation with the Horde Expedition, you will get exclusive treats such as the Schematic: Mechano-hog. This mount is probably the main reason for most people to raise their reputation with the Horde Expedition, though you will have to have the Engineering profession maxed out in order to make it.
If you get exalted with the Horde Expedition you will also get the achievement The Winds of the North.
The Horde Expedition is abit special. While you have to wear Championing Tabards in dungeons in order to gain reputation with other factions, you gain reputation with the Horde Expedition by not wearing a Championing Tabard in dungeons.
You can easily become revered with Horde Expedition just by quesing in Northrend. A thing worth mentioning is that you will gain most of your reputation by questing for the sub-factions of the Horde Expedition, as there are few quests given directly by Horde Expedition NPCs. Beyond average questing, you can do a handful of daily quests that will raise your reputation with the Horde Expedition. These are:
Grizzly Hills (PvP Daily)
Icecrown
Here's a guide on how to do the Grizzly Hills PvP Daily quests. For the Icecrown Quests, there are no specific guide, but I suggest you go to this guide and pick out the parts you need. Just Ctrl + F and write the quest name of the quest you want to do, and you'll jump to the relevant parts in the guide for that quest.
There are two Horde Expedition quartermasters. There is Gara Skullcrush in Borean Tundra (41,53) and Sebastian Crane in Howling Fjord (79,30).
Here are very many good pre-raid items, aswell as the famous Schematic: Mechano-hog.
Revered
Charged Wand of the Cleft - Isn't the best wand out there, but it works.
Darkspear Orb - A good Off-hand for PvP survival.
Sin'dorei Recurve Bow - Can be used while building up gear, but it's not really recommended to use. There are several better Ranged weapons which are just as easy to get.
Warsong Punisher - Again not recommended to use. Go with Hammer of Quiet Mourning instead.
Warsong Shanker - Quite good starting dagger in both PvE and PvP.
Warsong Stormshield - Good for Holy Paladins, aswell as Resto & Elemental Shamans.
Exalted
Arcanum of the Savage Gladiator - Great head enchant for PvP survival.
Plans: Titanium Plating - For tanks mainly.
Schematic: Mechano-hog - A must have for you who like to show off. It's really expensive though.

You must "unlock" the base area before you can access dailies or tabard, so let's get going! The Kalu'ak is a neutral tribe of the Tuskarr. The Tuskarr is a race that lives along the coastlines of Northrend, and they make their way of living by fishing. This guide will contain information on how to raise your reputation with the Kalu'ak faction. Since there are no instances related to Kalu'ak, the reputation farming consists of questing. I will try to make it simple and clear on how to gain reputation with the Kalu'ak, and what use you may have of this.
The first thing you should do, in order to get reputation with the Kalu'ak, is to do all the quests. These will take very little time, and will bring your reputation with the Kalu'ak a long way. I suggest that you follow Jame's Leveling Guides atleast throughout Dragonblight, and you should from that have most quests completed. However, if you have not followed Jame's Leveling Guides, and you know you have lots of Kalu'ak quests undone, there is a list below that contains all the quests that gives you reputation with the Kalu'ak.
There are 3 possible daily quests for the Kalu'ak, one in Borean Tundra, one in Howling Fjord, and one in Dragonblight. Each of them gives +500 reputation with the Kalu'ak and some gold.
From doing these 3 daily quests every day, you can expect the following amount of time being spent:
(source: wowwiki.com)
The daily quest you can do in Borean Tundra is "Preparing for the Worst".

1) Accept "Preparing for the Worst" from Utaik.
2) Pick up 8 Kaskala Supplies around in Kaskala.
3) Turn "Preparing for the Worst" at Utaik.
See at 1:24 in this video on how to do this quest.
The daily quest you can do in Howling Fjord is "The Way to His Heart...".

1) Accept "The Way to His Heart..." from Anuniaq.
2) Use Anuniaq's Net to catch 10 Tasty Reef Fish from the schools of fish. Then throw Tasty Reef Fish at a Reef Bull or an Attracted Reef Bull to make it follow you for a short time, keep throwing Tasty Reef Fish at it until you have it on the other side, and it will then fall in love with a Reef Cow.
Reef Bulls and Attracted Reef Bulls are on the lower island (a), while Reef Cows are on the upper island (b).
3) Turn in "The Way to His Heart..." at Anuniaq.
See at 0:32 in this video on how to do this quest.
The daily quest you can do in Dragonblight is Planning for the Future.

1) Accept Planning for the Future from Mau'i.
2) Pick up Snowfall Glade Pups in the camps around here.
3) Turn in Planning for the Future at Mau'i.
See at 0:5 in this video on how to do this quest.
Kalu'ak Reputation Rewards can be bought from two different Kalu'ak Quartermasters. These two are Tanaika in Howling Fjord (25,58) and Sairuk in Dragonblight (48,75).

Introduction
Hey! Thanks for visiting this guide. In it, I'll summarize the Kirin Tor Faction, how to gain reputation for it, and the rewards you get for doing so. Any feedback, such as catching a mistake or suggestions, in the form of comments is welcome. I will make an effort to reply to every single comment, even if it's just to confirm I read it.
So, you're in Northrend and want to be friends with the biggest local mage group. But, how? Good news is, if you're a mage, you're already friendly with them. But what about all those other folks?
Well, I suggest you do the quest chain starting with A Strange Device and ending with Defending Wyrmrest Temple. If you're still leveling and don't want to go out of your way to do this, that's no problem. Follow Jame's Leveling Guide. It's covered in there. Another useful quest chain is the one that starts with Too Close for Comfort for the Horde and Nick of Time for Alliance. These lead to Coldarra, where other Kirin Tor quests can be found, most notably the ones for the Nexus. (Side note: There's even more quests, which are all listed at this link, but I feel that listing every single one will make for an unpleasant experience to the reader!)
Other methods of obtaining a reputation with those Kirin Tor folk include wearing their tabard while hacking and slashing your way through Northrend dungeons. This is certainly the most effective way to go about earning reputation, as the dailies that those Magi offer you are disappointing. You either do some cooking for Katherine or Awilo, or do a heroic dungeon. I do suggest doing that daily heroic while wearing a tabard, that way you can do a double-whammy, getting tabard rep and daily rep at the same time! Bwahahaha!
Of course, if you're friends with these purply beings of magic and sparkles, you might wonder, "Hey, I went through a lot of work just to be friends with these purply beings of magic and sparkles. What's in it for me?"
Well, naught to worry, young one. They plan to fully compensate your troubles by giving you the honor to purchase their wares! Mr. Alvareaux in Dalaran is the man to buy from; here's a nice little list of his wares:

Argent Dawn Reputation Guide
The Argent Dawn is a lawful and good organization focused on protecting Azeroth from agencies that seek to destroy it, such as the Burning Legion and the Scourge. Base camps of the Argent Dawn can be found in the Eastern and Western Plaguelands as well as in Tirisfal Glades.
The Argent Dawn has many things to offer different classes, one of the best things about this faction is when you get exalted with Argent Crusade you get the title "The Argent Champion", which is always cool.
Scourgestones are dropped by mobs all around the plaguelands. You can turn them for axtra rep with the Argent Dawn. When you turn them in you will get an Argent Dawn Valor Token and +50 rep. Each token will give you +100 rep so with each turn in you get +150 rep.
Minion's Scourgestone - turn in 20 for an Argent Dawn Valor Token. Found on mobs level 50 and up.
Invader's Scourgestone - turn in 10 for an Argent Dawn Valor Token. Found on mobs level 53 and up.
Corruptor's Scourgestone - turn in 1 for an Argent Dawn Valor Token. Found on bosses.
Sadly, the argent Dawn does not have a tabard so that puts heroics off the list so the first thing to do is questing. I recommend doing ALL quests in Western Plaguelands and Eastern Plaguelands, many of them give 500 reputation with the Argent Dawn. You can start Plaguelands quests around level 55; if you are level 80 just use the tracking system to track low level quests and go! For these quests, when you a [*random number*] they are the lowest level required to accept this quest, if you see a [A], or [H] it means horde or aliance specific. An [R] means repeatable, however these quests usually give low rep. For more quests in different areas go here.
[50]Little Pamela - This does not get you any rep with Aregnt Dawn but you need to this quest to get a follow-up quest, and then get Uncle Carlin

There are two main instances that you can go through to get more rep with the Argent Dawn; Sratholme and Scholomance. If your not level 80 then I wouldn't recommend running these because it would take too long, if you are level 80 then run these if you are bored of questing, in these instances you should be picking up any scourgestone you get off the mobs. Personally I think strat is a better instance over scholomance because, one if you don`t have the key then it`s a hassle to get in (basically killing yourself by falling), and secondly Scholomance is a little more confusing to understand. Strat also, in my opinion, has one of the coolest ground mounts to get Deathcharger Reins

ALDOR AND SCRYER REPUTATION GUIDE
Aldor Lore
Shattrath was once the draenei capital of Draenor. Its name means "dwelling of light." When the Burning Legion turned the orcs against the draenei, the fiercest battle was fought there. The draenei foguht tooth and nail, but in the end, the city fell. The city was left in ruins and darkness until the Sha'tar arrived. The Sha'tar, whose name means "born from light", are the naaru who come to Outland to fight the demons of the Burning Legion. The naaru were drawn to the ruins of Shattrath City, where a small remnant of the draenei priesthood conducted its rites inside a ruined temple. The priesthood, known as the Aldor, quickly regained its strength as word of the Sha'tar's arrival spread. Reconstruction of Shattrath was soon underway.
It wouldn't be long, however, before the city came under attack once again...
Scryer Lore
This time, the attack came from the armies of Illidan Stormrage. A large regiment of blood elves had been sent by Illidan's ally, Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider, to lay waste to the city. As the regiment of blood elves crossed the bridge, the Aldor's exarchs and vindicators lined up to defend the Terrace of Light. Then the unexpected happened: the blood elves laid down their weapons in front of the city's defenders. Their leader, a blood elf elder known as Voren'thal, stormed into the Terrace of Light and demanded to speak to the naaru A'dal. As the naaru approached him, Voren'thal knelt and uttered the following words: "i've seen you in a vision, naaru. My race's only hope for survival lies with you. My followers and I are here to serve you."
The defection of Voren'thal and his followers was the largest loss ever incurred by Kael'thas' forces. Nor were these just any blood elves. Many of the best and brighest among Kael'thas' scholars and magisters had been swayed by Voren'thal's influence. The naaru accepted the defectors, who became known as the Scryers.
SO, basically. Aldor are Draenei, and Scryer are Blood Elves.

Upon completion of this quest you'll receive 5500 experience and 10 reputation with Sha'tar. Now Khadgar (who stands right next to A'dal) will have the following quest for you: [65] City of Light. Completing this quest will unlock two quests:
Accept the quest corresponding to the faction of your choice (scroll down to see the rewards before you decide). Choose carefully, as once you start getting reputation with one faction, the other faction will become hostile towards you. You can change faction at a later point, however it involves a lot of farming and work.
There are repeatable and non-repeatable quests for gaining faction. If you are aiming for higher ranks (exalted, etc.) you should save the non-repeatable quests for later (it gets harder to get faction, the higher your rank is), as the non-repeatable quests give a big faction boost.
Most people (beside Draenei) will start out with the Neutral reputation rank. Draenei are already friendly upon completion of the first quest.
In order to get Aldor reputation, you need to turn in Mark of Kil'Jaeden (click here to view the item) at Adyen the Lightwarden, who can be found in the Aldor Rise. You have two possible options:
The Marks drop from lower ranking minions of the Burning Legion. Click here to see examples of mobs that drop the Marks.
(also note that Marks of Kil'jaeden can only be turned in until level 68! Then you need to turn in Marks of Sargeras or [item]Fel Armament[/item] )
Please check the following guide if you want to farm Marks of Sargeras and Fel Armaments: Mravestein Aldor/Scryer Tokens Grinding Guide
After turning in a few you will be friendly with Aldor. You will continuously be able to turn in Mark of Kil'jaeden from Friendly-Honored. Once you turn in approximately 250 marks, you will be honored. Then you can either, go to Area 52 in Netherstorm, and get quests from the Draenei (however there are more non-repeatable quests, for a full list click here and scroll down) in the inn and do those lines of quests, or you can turn in Mark of Sargeras(click here for the item) from Honored-Exalted, which are also 25 rep points per, or 250 per 10. (Those drop from level 68+ mobs belonging to the Burning Legion. They can be found in Blade's Edge Mountains, Netherstorm, and Shadowmoon Valley). Click here for a list of mobs that drops this item.
Also, you can turn in [item]Fel Armament[/item], they are a bit harder to find/get, but they give more reputation. You can turn these in on the Aldor Rise in Shattrath City at Ishanah, High Priestess of Aldor (he's inside the Shrine of Unyielding Light), they give 350 reputation points per. This is a very good way to get Aldor Reputation.
Depending on the amount of non-repeatable quests you do, you will need approximately between 900-1300 Mark of Sargeras or 80-95 [item]Fel Armament[/item] to get exalted.
There are repeatable and non-repeatable quests for gaining faction. If you are aiming for higher ranks (exalted, etc.) you should save the non-repeatable quests for later (it gets harder to get faction, the higher your rank is), as the non-repeatable quests give a big faction boost.
Most people (beside Blood Elves) will start out with the Neutral reputation rank. Blood Elves are already friendly upon completion of the first quest.
In order to get Scryers reputation (especially at lower levels), you need to turn in Firewing Signets (click here for the item) at Magistrix Fyalenn, who can be found on the Scryers Tier. You have two possible options:
The Signets drop from lower ranking minions of the Firewing. (Northeast region of Terrokar Forest) Click here to see examples of mobs that drop the Signets.
(also note that Firewing Signets can only be turned in until level 68! Then you need to turn in Sunfury Signets or [item]Arcane Tome[/item] )
Please check the following guide if you want to farm Sunfury Signets and Arcane Tomes: Mravestein Aldor/Scryer Tokens Grinding Guide
After turning in a few you will be friendly with Scryers. You will continuously be able to turn in Firewing Signets from Friendly-Honored. Once you turn in approximately 250 Signets, you will be honored. Then you can either work on the following quests (click here scroll down), or you can turn in Sunfury Signets (click here for the item) from Honored-Exalted, which are also 25 rep points per, or 250 per 10. (Those drop from level 68+ Blood Elves belonging to the Sunfury. They can be found in Netherstorm, Tempest Keep, and Shadowmoon Valley). Click here for a list of mobs that drops this item.
Also, you can turn in [item]Arcane Tome[/item], they are a bit harder to find/get, but they give more reputation. You can turn these in on the Scryer's Tier in Shattrath City at Voren'thal the Seer (he's inside the Seer's Library), they give 350 reputation points per turn-in. This is a very good way to get Scryers Reputation.
Depending on the amount of non-repeatable quests you do, you will need approximately between 900-1300 Sunfury Signets or 80-95 [item]Arcane Tome[/item] to get exalted.
Aldor and Scryer Rewards
That will be all for this update. In the future, I will try to add the inscriptions, a map of Shattrath City, and possibly areas to get the reputation items.
In Sholazar Basin there are two factions, the Frenzyheart Tribe and The Oracles, between which you have to choose. This is kind of the Northrend equivalent to The Aldor vs. The Scryers.
In order to decide whether or not it is of advantage to you to farm reputation with The Oracles you should take a look at the Rewards section of this guide. A lot of people (including myself) find the Mysterious Egg to be crucial in their decision for The Oracles rather than the Frenzyheart Tribe. After seven days the egg will hatch and if you're lucky you might find yourself being the proud owner of a Green Proto-Drake mount or of one out of four pets then. You can buy a new egg every seven days and it only costs you 3g.
When you start the initial quest chain you will first do some quests for the Frenzyheart Tribe and after a twist in the story you will be doing some quests for The Oracles. These lead you to a final quest which gives you the possibility to choose your faction. Said quest can always be repeated so that you will be able to switch your faction. Thus the first part of this guide is also 100% applicable if you want to choose the Frenzyheart Tribe instead of The Oracles.
Take a flight to River's Heart in Sholazar Basin.
Get [76] The Part-time Hunter from Tamara Wobblesprocket.
Go south to (50.5, 77.1) where you will find a group of three wolvar surrounding a cat named Pitch. Kill it.
Now Tracker Gekgek should have a quest for you, take it.
Head north to High-Shaman Rakjak at Frenzyheart Hill (55, 69).
Turn in [77] Playing Along, get [77] The Ape Hunter's Slave. You'll get a wolvar as a companion who will help you a bit with the next quests.
Also get [77] Tormenting the Softknuckles from Goregek the Gorilla Hunter.
Go south-east/east to Hardknuckle Clearing (66.7, 73.6). Kill Hardknuckle Foragers and Hardknuckle Chargers on your way until you complete [77] The Ape Hunter's Slave.
Now use the Softknuckle Poker from your inventory to poke three Softknuckles so they are running around all at the same time.
This will make the matriarch come out of its hiding and attack you. Kill it.
Go back to Frenzyheart Hill.
Turn in:
Get:
Head south-east/east to Sapphire Hive (60.9, 78).
While you are here kill Sapphire Hive Wasps and Sapphire Hive Drones until you complete [77] The Wasp Hunter's Apprentice.
Make your way inside the cave until you find the Sapphire Hive Queen. Kill it and loot its stinger.
Return to Frenzyheart Hill.
Turn in:
Get [77] Flown the Coop!.
Around Frenzyheart Hill you can find chickens which you need to catch with the Chicken Net from your inventory and then right-click them. When you type /chicken they will come running to you. NOTE: You can do this quest while being mounted!.
When you have caught 12 chickens that way go back and turn in [77] Flown the Coop!.
Get:
Go south to the river below The Skyreach Pillar (58.2, 83.7). Check if you can find Serfex the Reaver there and kill him.

He's got multiple spawn locations, so if you didn't find him just follow the river west while looting Skyreach Crystal Formations and you should eventually find him.
Go back and turn in:
Go down the slope and you should find a Captive Crocosilisk (57.3, 68.4). Talk to it and it will carry you to Mistwhisper Refuge.
Summon Zepik the Gorloc Hunter by using Zepik's Hunting Horn from your inventory.
Turn in the quest at him and get the [77] Lightning Definitely Strikes Twice. Also get his quest [77] The Mist Isn't Listening.
Start killing Mistwhisper Gorlocs while going to the shrine at (45.3, 37.1). Use the Skyreach Crystal Clusters there.
Now kill the remaining Gorlocs you need for [77] The Mist Isn't Listening.
Turn in both quests at Zepik the Gorloc Hunter, get [77] Hoofing It.
Return to High-Shaman Rakjak at Frenzyheart Hill (55, 69).
Turn in [77] Hoofing It, get [77] Just Following Orders.
Head north looking for an Injured Rainspeaker Oracle (55.7, 64.9), there are about six of it.
Talk to it. You'll be attacked by a Crocosilisk, which you have to kill. Turn in the quest. A wolvar will appear and tell you that you're being regarded as a traitor by the Frenzyheart Tribe from now on for helping the Gorloc. This is the twist in the story I mentioned at the beginning.
Get [77] Fortunate Misunderstandings and follow the Gorloc to Rainspeaker Canopy (54, 56.6).
Turn in the quest, get:
Do circles around Rainspeaker Canopy killing Emperor Cobras and looking for sparkling stars. Stand on them and wait for your Gorloc companion to dig. When he's finished there will appear either a Shiny Treasure (crystal, pile of gold, golden platter etc.) which you have to loot or, if you're unlucky, it will be some bugs or a hare. If it's a hare kill it for a 1 minute 50% speed increase buff.
When you come across the small waterfall at (57.6, 52.4) you should find Venomtip there. Kill it. If it's not there just wait a little for the respawn.

Repeat this until you have looted 6 Shiny Treasures.
Go back and turn in the quests, get [77] Making Peace.
Go to River's Heart and look for Shaman Vekjik at (51.3, 64.6). Talk to him and take a bath.
This is also a good time to turn in [76] The Part-time Hunter at Tamara Wobblesprocket if you haven't already done that.
Go back to Rainspeaker Canopy and turn in the quest, get [77] Back So Soon?.
Travel to Mistwhisper Refuge at (42, 38.5) and turn in the quest, get:
Go north to Spearborn Encampment (42.1, 25.9) and start killing Frenzyheart Spearbearers and Frenzyheart Scavengers while moving up the small hill to (41.6, 19.6) where you will find a golden orb.

Be sure to have your Gorloc companion out and right-click it to summon Warlord Tartek. Kill him and loot the treasure.
Head back to Mistcaller Soo-gan (42.1, 25.9) and turn in both quests, get [77] Home Time!.
Return to Rainspeaker Canopy and turn in this quest, get [77] The Angry Gorloc.
Go east to Mosswalker Village (75, 51) and turn in the quest at Moodle. If you lost him just right-click Moodle's Stress Ball from your inventory to summon him, get:
Look for Mosswalker Victims and talk to them to check their pulse. If they drop a bag, loot it.
After you rescued six of them just keep following the road below Mosswalker Shrine to the south-west and collect the remaining Lifeblood Shards.
When done with that turn in both quests and get [77] A Hero's Burden.
This is the final quest in this long quest chain that will enable you to choose whether you want to be helping the Frenzyheart Tribe or The Oracles. This quest is the repeatable one I mentioned earlier!
Head to the cave (69.9, 58) east of Lifeblood Pillar and enter it. Fight your way to the end where you should find Artruis the Heartless. Depending on your gear, you'll probably need at least one or two helpers to kill him. In the middle of the fight he will stop attacking you and free Jaloot and Zepik the Gorloc Hunter. Now kill the member of the faction which you do NOT want to choose, say if you want to choose The Oracles, kill Zepik the Gorloc Hunter. Finish the fight and complete the quest to become honored with the faction of your choice.
You can start doing your dailies right away. So return to Frenzyheart Hill or Rainspeaker Canopy.
NOTE: If you, at any time, change your mind and decide to switch your faction, just come here and kill Artruis the Heartless again. You will be able to re-choose your faction then.
When you have finished the initial quest chain you will be able to complete three daily quests to further increase your reputation with the Oracles. There are three quest-givers located in Rainspeaker Canopy (53.8, 56.5):
High-Oracle Soo-say (54.6, 56.3) is in front of the small stone pillar.
He offers the same quest every day which awards you 500 reputation.
After taking this quest talk to High-Oracle Soo-say and choose one of the three Gorlocs to help you (you can always change this later). It doesn't really matter which one you choose, although Jaloot will give you Jaloot's Intensity, a 10% speed and 100% swimming speed increase buff. You'll get an item with which you can summon and dismiss your Gorloc.

Oracle Soo-nee (53.3, 56.4) is in a small hut with stairs.
He offers 1 out of 4 quests randomly chosen every day. Each of them awards you 500 reputation.
Your objective is to use the Chime of Cleansing to summon three spirits at certain places and kill them:
Your objective is to use the Horn of Fecundity at The Stormwright's Shelf (25.6, 36.3) near 8 piles of Soaked Fertile Dirt.

Your objective is to use the Didgeridoo of Contemplation at the four pillars in Sholazar Basin:
Sometimes you have to fight some cultists there.

Go to The Stormwright's Shelf (25.6, 36.3) and use the Drums of the Tempest there to become Haiphoon, The Great Tempest. You now have 3 abilities which are pretty self-explanatory. Use Ability #1 to deal damage, Ability #2 whenever your enemy comes into melee range and Ability #3 once your enemy is below 30% health.
Oracle Soo-dow (54.2, 53.7) is inside the big tree.
He offers 1 out of 3 quests randomly chosen every day. Each of them awards you 700 reputation.
NOTE: These quests are not turned in at the quest-giver but at Lightningcaller Soo-met (33.5, 74.9) at Sparktouched Haven.

Crystal of Unstable Energy (green one): single-target damage, one-hits those wolvar
Crystal of the Frozen Grip (blue one): very much like the Hunter's Frost Trap effect
Crystal of the Violent Storm (white one): AoE damage like the Druid's Hurricane spell
Once you've completed each of the 8 daily quests you'll get the Achievement Savior of the Oracles.

And once you've reached Exalted status with The Oracles, you'll get the achievement The Oracles.

You can find Geen (54.6, 56.1), the Oracles Quartermaster, directly next to High-Oracle Soo-say (next to the small stone pillar) at Rainspeaker Canopy in Sholazar Basin.

Scale of the Sands
The Scale of the Sands is a sect of the Bronze Dragonflight led by Sordormi in the Caverns of Time. They are responsible for coordinating the defense of the timeline in Mount Hyjal. Players will start at 0/3000 Neutral Reputation with them, and gain reputation largely by running Mount Hyjal. A full run of Mount Hyjal with no wipes gives 9,125 rep. Humans recieve 10,037 rep for a full clear. However, if you wipe, and the trash waves proceed to kill the faction leader in the base you are protecting, you have to start the trash waves over again from the beginning of the last started series of waves. In essence, killing a boss gives you a "checkpoint" of sorts, and you don't have to kill already dead bosses' trash over again. If you wipe, any waves you started at all during the instance lockout will not give any rep. Therefore, you lose rep if you wipe.
Every monster inside Mount Hyjal gives full reputation all the way to Exalted. The reputation given per mob is listed below:
Clearing the first 2 sets of trash waves and bosses will give 1790 rep each (1969 for humans). Clearing the third set of trash and a boss will give 2000 rep (2200 for humans), and clearing the final set of trash and a boss will lend 2045 rep (2250 for humans). Finally, if you, by some miracle, find a raid where every raid member can resist the innate urge to stand in the fire, you can kill Archimonde for 1500 rep (1650 for humans). If you are in Hyjal, and are farming strictly for rep, there is no reason to stop at any part of the instance unless you simply cannot kill a boss.
The Paths are:
Each path yields an epic ring. This ring increases in power by doing quests at each level of reputation above friendly, all the way to exalted. Once you have selected a path you may not chose another until you reach exalted reputation and are willing to pay 75g, so beware..... pick the one you want!
| Scale of the Sand Reputation Rings | Friendly | Honored | Revered | Exalted |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Path of the Champion | Band of Eternity from Champion's Pledge | Band of Eternity from Champion's Vow | Band of Eternity from Champion's Oath | Band of the Eternal Champion from Champion's Covenant |
| Path of the Defender | Band of Eternity from Defender's Pledge | Band of Eternity from Defender's Vow | Band of Eternity from Defender's Oath | Band of the Eternal Defender from Defender's Covenant |
| Path of the Restorer | Band of Eternity from Restorer's Pledge | Band of Eternity from Restorer's Vow | Band of Eternity from Restorer's Oath | Band of the Eternal Restorer from Restorer's Covenant |
| Path of the Sage> | Band of Eternity from Sage's Pledge | Band of Eternity from Sage's Vow | Band of Eternity from Sage's Oath | Band of the Eternal Sage from Sage's Covenant |
The recipies are:
Finally, the best level 70 ammunition in the game is available at Honored with The Scale of the Sands. Both Timeless Arrow and Timeless Shell require honored reputation to buy. They cost 2g before faction discounts (1g 80s at Honored, 1g 70s at Revered, and 1g 60s at Exalted).
Once you get to level 70, you will soon find that you want to be Revered or Exalted with a lot of factions. You'll need to be Revered to get your Heroic key for each set of instances, and it's likely that at least one faction will have a reputation item that you'll want to buy.
If you don't plan ahead, getting to Revered with the Sha'tar can mean a lot of instance runs. If you plan ahead, you can make it to revered with some cash or time spent grinding, a series of quest chains, and about three instance runs.
There are three ways to gain reputation with the Sha'tar:
By combining these three methods correctly, you can get to Revered shortly after hitting 70.
Neutral to Honored
When you hand in items that give you Aldor or Scryer Reputation, your chat log doesn't record a change in Sha'tar Reputation. However, if you open the Reputation pane, you'll see that Sha'tar Reputation does indeed increase at a rate of 50% of the Reputation gains made for Aldor or Scryer.
A hand in of Marks of Kil'jaeden, Marks of Sargeras, Firewing Signets and Sunfury Signets will grant 125 Sha'tar reputation. A hand of a [item]Fel Armament[/item] or an [item]Arcane Tome[/item] will grant 175 Sha'tar Reputation.
Until you are Honored with the Sha'tar, do not do any quests that will grant Sha'tar reputation. Instead, continue to gather and hand in items for your faction - either Scryer or Aldor. You could farm the items directly, but it would probably be more time efficient to farm another item for money and then purchase the reputation hand ins on the Auction House. You will eventually want to be Exalted with either the Aldor or the Scryers, so this is killing two birds with one stone.
Honored to Revered
For the next 12,000 Reputation points, you'll want to complete a number of quest chains that grant Sha'tar Reputation. Completing all of these quest chains, along with the three required instance runs, will get you to Revered or within a few points.
Quest chains in Terokkar Forest:
Quest chains in Shadowmoon Valley:
Quest chains in Netherstorm:
The final quest chain (beginning with Warp-Raider Nesaad) will take you through the Mechanar and Botanica to obtain the Arcatraz key. You will then have to go into the Arcatraz and kill the final boss - Skyriss. Doing these three instance runs will grant you approximately 5600 Sha'tar Reputation.
Once you have completed these quest chains, you should be Revered or within a few points of Revered. If you haven't quite made it, you'll need to make one more run into one of the Tempest Keep instances. You could also try to arrange for one of your instance runs to be made while A'dal's Song of Battle is active (the buff granted to all players after someone kills Kael'thas and hands in the [item]Verdant Sphere[/item]).
Revered to Exalted
Many players will want to get to Exalted with the Sha'tar, including tanks (looking for [item]Crest of the Sha'tar[/item]) and healers (looking for [item]Gavel of Pure Light[/item]).
The only way to continue to advance your reputation is to return to one of the Tempest Keep instances. If you want to continue to run regular instances, you should focus on the Botanica. It provides the most reputation per full clear.
If you want to work on getting a [item]Badge of Justice[/item] or two, though, you should go to Heroic Mechanar whenever possible. The first three "bosses" (the Mechanical boss and the two Gatekeepers) are very easily and quickly killed (30-45 minutes), so people are always willing to go. You will easily find a willing group, and you can obtain three Badges and a hefty amount of rep for very little time invested.
Congratulations on earning your Warpforged Key, and happy heroics!

Darnassus Reputation
Rewards
How to raise your reputation
- A Donation of Wool
- A Donation of Mageweave
- A Donation of Silk
This should bring you 150 reputation for each quest = 450 reputation in total. You also unlock the quest "Additional Runecloth", which is a repeatable level 50+ quest, allowing you to raise your faction as high as Exalted.
Go to Un'Goro and gather Un'Goro Soil. Whenever your pouch is up combine the soil with the Thaenis Seeds. You will need about 60 Un'Goro Soil to be on the safe side as the combine doesn't always yield Morrowgrain. At some point you will be out of Thaenis Seed, when that happens go back to Darnassus and turn in Un'Goro Soil, you'll be able to purchase more Thaenis Seeds from Arch Druid Fandral, once this quest is complete. (For this turn in you'll need 20 Morrowgrain)
After doing the remaining combines, complete the quest "Morrowgrain Research" at Arch Druid Fandral (requires 10 Morrowgrain). Make sure that you have 10 more Morrowgrain in your bags and go to Feathermoon Stronghold. Get the quest "The Mystery of Morrowgrain" and complete it. Morrowgrain may now be turned in to Quintis Jonespyre, Feathermoon, or Mathrengyl Bearwalker, Darnassus, yielding 25 reputation per 5 Morrowgrain. (from level 47-50... that means 5 reputation at level 60)
Now go to the 48-51 Bloodelves in Azshara, they can be found approximately here

Any other Runecloth farming spot works for this btw, but I chose the Bloodelves as this spot is often deserted and the mobs have fairly low HPs. Also you can take a flight from Azshara to Darnassus to do turn ins once you have no Un'Goro Soils anymore (or once your bags are full). Kill those Bloodelves over and over until you either fill up your inventory with Runecloth or until you have no Un'Goro Soil anymore. (Note If you sell the junk you get here or if you destroy it is up to you... selling it will of course slow you down but might bring you very nice cash in the long run).
5 x Morrowgrain = 25 Reputation (at Mathrengyl Bearwalker) (Note that you get 25 reputation at level 47-55, after that the reputation you get decreases by 5 per level you take, that means you'll get 5 reputation for a morrowgrain turn in at level 60)
20 x Runecloth (one stack) = 50 Reputation (at Raedon Darkstriker)
This is how much reputation points it takes to get from one reputation rank to another
- Snowflake
Addition from Haza:
Nice, I'd also recommend Felstone Field/Sorrow hill for runecloth farming in WPL.Blackrock Stronghold/Firegut Ogres in Burning Steppes.
On the server's i've been on the blood elves in Azshara have been farmed to the max.

The Diplomat is an achievement earnt by getting Timbermaw Hold, the Mag'har/Kurenai and Sporeggar reputations all up to Exalted. With the change in patch 3.0.8 allowing full reputation gain per kill, no matter what your level, there has never been a better time to get this achievement.
The lore behind the Furbolg quests reveals that they are attempting to save the other Furbolg from the influence that is corrupting them, and in the Exalted quest, which grants you your Defender of the Timbermaw, you kill the demon corrupting the Winterfall, who live in Winterspring.
Unfriendly: 39,000-41,999
Neutral: 42,000-44,999
Friendly: 45,000-50,999
Revered: 51,000-62,999
Revered: 63,000-83,999
Exalted:84,000-85,999
84,000-x=y
y/44= Number of mobs (approx.) you'll need to kill to reach Exalted. (Not including the quests I'll give you the option of doing here)
However, people who really, really, really want their Frostsabre mount can grind mobs that drop their turn-in item, Winterfall Spirit Beads, at a lower drop chance, but can be grinded for the Wintersaber Trainer's Rep quest.
I would not recommend this path, as grinding Wintersaber rep will slow you down, and the area's where you kill the mobs in are often heavily camped.
Note that the mount (and quests) are Alliance only.
For Macros I would recommend creating a #show Deadwood Headdress Feather (make sure you spell it right) then put it on one of your bonus action bars (you can add these with esc-> Interface).
(For the uninitiated, macros are created by typing /macro, clicking 'New' choosing a name (try 'feather') and then, since the focus of the macro is an item/ability with a picture, use the Question Mark icon at the top, then once you've created it, drag it down to an action bar).
While I do not pretend to understand the arcane geekery behind scriptwriting, someone on Wowhead clearly does, and has thus created with awesome macro for repeated turning in of quests with only one click:
/script SelectGossipAvailableQuest(1)
/script CompleteQuest()
/script GetQuestReward()
So kudos to dJe713.
Create a macro with that in it, name it and pick a suitably bewildering picture.
To use, right click on Nafien, the Furby who you turn the quest in to, then press, press, press, click.
Repeat until Exalted
20 rep is gained per kill until Revered, at which point rep stops being gained from kills, and you can only gain it from Feather turn-ins.
For this reason I recommend saving feathers to get you from Revered to Exalted.
It requires 350 Feathers to get from Revered to Exalted, so once you reach that number, you can start doing turn-ins, as long as you always have at least 350 on hand.
And that's all you need to know, so you can get started on your Furby slaughter. I would recommend starting at the bottom of the ramp leading up to Timbermaw Hold, working around the lake (staying on the lower terrace), then, after you've got round to the big tree at the south of the lake, go north up to where the Winterfall furbolg is, then East and then South along the upper terrace, heading right back to where you started.
This all depends, of course, on how quickly you kill and how many other people are there. Have a few tries, and see what works for you.
Tailors capable of making Mooncloth also get the quest Sacred Cloth, which rewards you with the ability to make Mooncloth Boots. Do it if you want.
At Exalted, the quest The Root Of All Evil becomes available. Complete this by travelling to the large Winterfall village at the East of Winterspring, planting a torch in High Chief Winterfall's cave and then killing Xandivious you can then loot the Essence of Xandivious from Xandivious' Demon Bag. Easily soloable for anyone above 68 or so.
This rewards you with your Defender Of The Timbermaw trinket, allowing you to summon a cool-looking ghost Timbermaw, who does ineffective heals and ineffective spells for a short while. At the 19 twink bracket (if you ghost around after someone who kills them for you) it is the absolute bomb.
Enjoy your new-found newb-magnet, and enjoy the slightly odd looks you may get in Dalaran.
Stay tuned for the next installment of The Diplomat, Part II: Mag'har/Kurenai.
First off, this guide is going to specifically focus on helping Orcs who wish to be able to purchase a Raptor mount at level 60, and without spending unnecessarily on turn-in cloth. While the Forsaken and Blood Elves can also ride these mounts at exalted, they begin at neutral with the trolls, and thus will most likely spend considerably on cloth. (I've never tried to collect troll reputation with either of those races, so I don't know for sure. In any event, this guide will still help you.)
- Why should I go to all the trouble?
Reputation with individual races within your faction has two benefits. At Honored reputation, you get a 10% discount with all vendor purchases; if you work all the way up to the highest level, Exalted, you become able to purchase that race's unique mount. (Note: Tauren can only ride their racial mount, the Kodo, and the Orc's wolf mount.)
Collecting Darkspear Troll reputation without relying on cloth purchases comes down to one thing, and one thing only - quests. There are many quests in the game that give you large chunks of reputation with a specific faction, and Trolls are no exception. I will be outlining the path to these large reputation gains in this guide. In addition, almost every other quest that gives you reputation with a Horde faction will give you what is referred to as "splash reputation" - reputation in smaller quantities. As there are a great many orc, tauren, and forsaken quests in the old world, splash reputation adds up significantly.
- Alright, alright, I get the point. Enough introduction! Where are the large quantities of Darkspear Troll reputation?
Pushy, aren't they? Fine - here goes.
Regular Quests:
1. Complete every quest in Durotar. I'm completely serious. Every quest in the Valley of Trials, Sen'jin, Razor Hill and elsewhere gives a significant gain of Darkspear Troll reputation.
- Valley of Trials
- Sen'Jin
- Razor Hill; don't miss the guy in the watchtower above the outpost
- The goblin Rezlak, north of Razor Hill and just west of the road, with two quests involving Harpies
- The troll Rhinag, located in a cluster of rock halfway in between the road near Rezlak and the river
- Misha Tor'kren, located at the marked house on the map, northwest of Razor Hill with a quest called "Lost But Not Forgotten"
- After completing the quest at Razor Hill "Dark Storms", you get a followup to an orc named Margoz. Find him - there's a cave due east of Orgrimmar called Skull Rock, and Margoz can be found due south of that cave. Get his followup, and then go to Skull Rock. Collect the 6 collars required for Margoz, then search the cave for a level 14 orc called Gazz'uz. Kill him, loot the eye, and turn in at Neeru Fireblade in Orgrimmar.
2. There is a relatively high amount of splash reputation to be gained in the Barrens, as well as the level 20ish quest "Egg Hunt" and the final quest in the Barrens harpy chain which goes to Malaka'Jin in the Stonetalon Mountains.
3. At Malaka'Jin, there are two quests other than the turn-in. One at the small structure off the the right, involving spider slaying; the other, from the witch doctor in the cave.
4. At Grom'gol Base Camp in Stranglethorn Vale, there are two trolls surrounding a cauldron. Completing all their quests, including the one that is completed in the Hinterlands and the ones from the cauldron, are worth significant reputation.
5. There are trolls inside the outpost of Hammerfall. Completing all Stromgarde quest chains, plus other quests like the one to kill Marez Cowl and the raptor chain involving Gor'mul and Tor'gan, are worth significant reputation.
6. In southwestern Desolace is a troll-dominated village called Shadowprey. Complete all troll quests.
7. There are trolls at the Zoram Strand, located in the northwest of Ashenvale. Do these quests, then get the quests from the troll in the structure on the right side for Blackfathom Deeps.
Instance Quests:
Note - soloing instances is an ideal way to collect large amounts of wool, silk and mageweave for large chunks of troll reputation. Turn in 60 of each near the Orgrimmar mage trainers.
1. Blackfathom Deeps has an extremely high amount of troll reputation to be gained. First, you need to have the two quests from the Zoram Strand troll. Then, head to the caverns outside the actual BFD instance and kill Priestesses until you get the quest item "Damp Note". Run back to the Zoram Strand, turn in and get the follow-up (so that you don't need to make two instance runs). With these three quests in hand, enter the instance (completing the sapphire quest on the way). Find and get the quest from the Argent Guard, Thaelrid "Blackfathom Villiany". Find and kill Lorgus Jett, then head to the pool. Upon retrieving the Fathom Core at the bottom, kill the elemental that spawns for yet another quest item. You should now have five quests. Complete them all, and turn them all in for nearly 2,000 troll reputation.
2. One of the mage trainers in Orgrimmar gives a quest to kill rock elementals just outside the actual Maraudon instance. Do so for solid reputation points.
(More to come in this section.)
Upon completing all these steps, you should be a fair distance into Revered. The rest of the ground can be made up easily by completing nearly any Horde quests you wish that are not handed out by a troll, in the form of splash reputation. Good luck!
They've got mounts, armour, weapons and the best PvE shoulder enchantments (for non-scribes).
This guide will take you through the quest chains and give you the fastest circuits for dailies, and a few other tips.
This guide assumes you have an epic flyer, but it really doesn't matter if you don't. When I say 'Fly back to Thorim' and you're at, say, Dun Niffelem, you may wish to fly to the Grom'marsh Crash site, and then fly from there. Your choice.
Also, this quest chain (and a few of the dailies) will also be included in Jame's Storm Peaks guide (when it comes) so if you decide to wait for that for the rest of the zone, doing this will give you a (slight) reduction in speed in parts, and you'll have to go through and tick what you've done already.
Oh, and try not to think too hard about the quest names.
If you lack a flying mount, talk to "Honest" Max, next to the flight master.
2. Fly to Sifreldar Village at 41,70. Kill the Storm Maidens for keys, and free 5 goblins from cages.
NOTE: Keep your Relics of Ulduar
Go back to K3 and turn in at Gretchen Fizzlespark.
3. Get the follow-up, Leave No Goblin Behind.
Go up the stairs to the east then take a right. Kill Overseer Syra and loot the runes. Head back to Lok'lira the way you came and turn in.
2. Take the follow-up, Mildred the Cruel.
Combat animations on this rock, by the way.
Go up the stairs. Take a right, then a left, then another left and one more left.
Turn in at Mildred the Cruel.
3. Get the follow-up, Discipline.
Walk through the side tunnels, looking for Exhausted Vrykul. Use the rod on them. They'll either work or attack you. Once you're done, head back to Mildred the Cruel.
4. Get Examples to be Made.
Go directly east, then turn right and kill Garhal. Your 'sisters' will help you kill the other captives (who will become friendly when Garhal dies).
5. Get A Certain Prisoner.
Head back down the stairs and west to Lok'lira to turn in.
6. Get A Change of Scenery.
NOTE: This place is a fully functioning town, with an inn, repairs, vendors etc.
Go a short way to the east and challenge Agnetta Tyrsdottar (she's standing next to the goblin). Straight forward fight. I'd love it if the 'bosses' of non-group quests were just slightly tougher than average. Turn back in at Lok'Lira.
1. Get The Hyldsmeet. Talk to Lok'lira. Turn in. World saving. Cool.
2. Get Taking on all Challengers.
Go around the village and challenge and kill 6 Victorious Challengers. They're pushovers.
Admire the bears, and get a nice sense of forboding (not necessary for quest completion). Try mounting. Seems like riding a toy to me, although that could just be because I'm used to playing a Tauren.
Turn in at Lok'lira (47,49).
3. Get You'll Need a Bear.
Turn in at Brijana at 53,66.
4. Get Going Bearback.
Use Ability 2 at the start and end (or if you're finshed). The bear steers for you. If you're being chased, shoot slightly in front of yourself.
Turn in at Brijana.
5. Get Cold Hearted.
Fly to 64,59.
Fly up to a drake, before you mount, read this:
Keep moving. Target the prisoner you want to free, and strafe + x down, then use Ability 1. Once you have them (the quest tracker doesn't show anything) fly low near the arch at the west side of Dun Niffelem, and the drake will autopilot back. Repeat three times.
If your drake gets low on health, strafe + space to rise (although this doesn't heal your health) and go make a cup of tea while your health regenerates.
On the flight home, check your claws out
Turn in at Brijana at 53,66.
6. Get Deemed Worthy.
Turn in to Astrid Bjornrittar in the house at 50,72.
7. Get Making a Harness. Your disguise will go when you leave the village and reappear on your return.
Yeti are in the hills around 47,73.
Go back to 50,72 and turn in.
8. Get The Last of Her Kind.
9. Get The Slithering Darkness.
Note that the second quest is not actually required to advance with the quest chain, but you'll be killing enough mobs to complete it anyway as you go.
Go to the Hibernal Cave (56,63) and kill Jormungar as you go. Make sure to complete The Slithering Darkness before you mount up on the large bear at the end of the cave (reachable from either way), as it carries you back to the village.
Turn both in back at Astrid (you'll be on her doorstep).
10. Get The Warm Up.
Head towards the large yeti at 50.70,67.50. Mount up on your bear, and /growl.
Read this before starting combat:
At the start of the fight, use Ability 6 to stun him. It is basically a Warrior's Charge.
Spam 4. Whenever 6 comes off cooldown, hit 5 (to knockback) then 6.
Eventually he'll run out of space to be knockedback into, but by then you'll have him.
Turn in at Astrid at 50,72.
11. Get Into The Pit.
Enter the pit and bear up. Similar tactics as the last time. If you get knockbacked, run towards who ever did it to avoid being charged.
Head back to Astrid at 50,72 and turn in.
12. Get Prepare For Glory.
Turn in at Lok'lira at 47.50,69.
13. Get Lok'lira's Parting Gift.
Turn in at Gretta the Arbiter at 51,65.60 (Just past the Proto-drakes. Feel free to get more foreboding.)
14. Get The Drakkensryd.
You'll be flown to the Temple of Storms. Harpoon other drake riders, kill them and then take their mount. When you're almost done, grab a drake circling high, aim at one of the lamp things on the Temple's pillars and turn in at Thorim.
Chat with Thorim.
Turn in.
2. Get Mending Fences.
Fly to 61,60. Get a granite boulder. Hurl it at a giant and kill it. Repeat 5 times.
3. When one drops Slag Covered Metal, get The Refiner's Fire.
When you've killed the 5 giants, pick up another boulder and fly to 77,63.
Use the boulder on Fjorn, then kill him.
Turn in The Refiner's Fire at the anvil (quickly!).
4. Get A Spark of Hope.
Fly back to Thorim at 33,56.
Turn them both in.
'Grats on Neutral Sons of Hodir
5. Get Forging An Alliance.
1. Chat with him, and take his quest, You Can't Miss Him (you can't turn in. Confusing, I know).
Head to Lillehoff (Hodir quartmaster, just behind the king). Turn in what relics you may have.
Fly to Fjorn's Anvil (75,63).
Turn in at Njormeld.
2. Get Battling the Elements.
Mount Snorri (I'm sorry, it's the quest names...).
Head to the piles of snow on the ground and use ability one.
Target a Seething Revenant, make sure you're in LoS and use 2.
Turn in at Njormeld when you're done.
3. Get the quest complete for Forging an Alliance.
Fly to 63,63 (Njormeld is near the anvil) and turn in there.
4. Get A New Beginning.
5. Get Hot and Cold from the anvil.
6. Fly to King Jokkum (65,60) and get In Memoriam.
NOTE: Look for Everfrost Chips on the ground. 1=350 rep.
7. Go east to the frozen lake and kill Brittle Revenants until you have 5 Essence of Ice.
8. Go to 75,65. Use the Essences on the scraps on the ground, then collect. Fly north to 71,50. Look around the (Narnia-esque) giants and dwarves for little grey cells fragments. Easy to spot, they're all over the place.
1. Get Veranus. Fly to the area near 53,35. The nests you will want to look at will have lots of little dragons around them. Some nests will have non-interactable 'scenery eggs'. Some eggs are also found at 41,65.
Fly to Thorim at 33,58. Turn in.
2. Get Territorial Trespass
Fly to the nest at 37,56.
Use the egg then mount up and fly back a bit. You can either just wait for the quest update, or wait and watch Thorim tame the drake. I can't tell you what it looks like, since I left when I got the quest reward, and just heard the shout.
Fly back to 33,57 and turn in.
3. Get Krolmir, Hammer of Storms.
Head to King Jokkum at 65,61 and turn in In Memoriam. You will now be friendly if you have turned in at least one lot of Relics.
1. Get A Monument to the Fallen.
2. Get Jormuttar Is Soo Fat.... Your mum jokes. Wow, this just gets more and more mature.
Go to Njormeld at 63,63 and turn in A Monument to the Fallen.
3. Get Forging A Head. (Non gutter-humour. Extraordinary)
Head east to the frozen lake. Find a giant and mine with the Diamond-Tipped Pick.
You will either get two eyes, or three dwarves will appear, some of which may drop eyes.
When you're done, fly to Njormeld at 63,63 and turn in.
4. Get Mounting Hodir's Helm. Hohoho...
5. Go slightly SE and get Blowing Hodir's Horn. My eyes... My sweet, innocent eyes...
Head to the sparkly tip of the ice spike at 64.20,59.20.
Read from the tablet.
Head back to 63,63 and turn in at Njormeld.
Fly back to the helm at 64,59.
46. Get Polishing the Helm. Do children play this game?
6. Fly to the Hibernal Cavern at 56,64.
Use your Everfrost Razor on the first dead bear you see.
Keep doing this until you get a flank. Head to the back of the cave, while gathering Viscous Oil.
Once at the crater, use the bear flank and kill Jormuttar.
When you're done, head out, fly to the helm at 64,60 and turn in.
Then, fly to Jokkum at 65,60 and turn in Jormuttar is Soo Fat...
Talk to Jokkum about Krolmir.
The King will carry you to Thunderfall. Turn in at Thorim.
NOTE: At this point, it could be argued the chain ends. However, if you want to continue with it, get The Terrace of the Makers and read on. You'll get 500 more Hodir rep and a couple of blues. I'd continue on, the end is pretty good.
If you don't want to, skip down to step 48.
Summon your Earthen crew and go on a rampage to these coords: 56,43 for Eisenfaust. 48,45 for Halefnir. 44,37 for Duronn.
When you're done with both quests, head back to Thorim at 56,51. Turn both quests in and get The Reckoning. Head to the temple at 36,32. Awesomeness. Also, the bit Loken says about the mine, well, someone clever speculates on Wowhead that Loken (master of shapeshifting in Norse mythology) was Lok'Lira. Makes sense.
Turn back in at 66,60 and get Whatever it Takes!. Complete that on your next trip into HoL.
Finishing off...
Fly back to Dun Niffelem and turn in.
Congratulations, it's daily circuit time. (Or, just ignore all this and buy their love with relics of Ulduar.)
2. Pick up Polishing the Helm.
3. Pick up Blowing Hodir's Horn.
Head east to Frostfield Lake. Kill elementals until you get 5 Essence of Ice.
Fly South-West to the scraps at 77,64. Use the essences, loot the scraps. Be quick, if someone else is around, or they might be able to loot it before you.
Fly North to Thunderfall. Kill 5 giants and 5 dwarves and use the horn on their corpses.
Fly to the Hibernal Cave (56,63) and kill oils for the quest.
Head back to Dun Niff (as the cool kids call it) and turn in.
Other Things to do:
[*]Look for Everfrost Chips. Comb the ground, especially near cliffs for them.
[*]Farm relics. Remember that mine with the Vrykul in that we were in at the start? Try there.
At Honoured you'll get the quest Raising Hodir's Spear. Pretty simple, head to the Valley of Ancient Winters and kill mammoth, and head to the Hibernal Cave, go to the back and get your Everfrost.
After doing this, the quest Thrusting Hodir's Spear is now available. Whoever created this quest chain is worse than Linnaeus...
Also, the quest Spy Hunter is now available. Here's a new daily circuit:
1. Pick up Blowing Hot and Cold.
2. Pick up Polishing the Helm.
3. Pick up Blowing Hodir's Horn.
4. Pick up Thrusting Hodir's Spear.
5. Pick up Spy Hunter.
Head out in the valley and use the tooth near the wolf corpse. Don't bother mounting, as the wolf runs at your speed, and for a set time.
Keep your eye on the sky for a protodrake. When you spear one, start off by using dodge, then the big stab, then grip. This can be hard with latency, but time your dodge so it goes off just before he hits you. Keep gripping, and feel free to occasionally small stab. The big stab resets your dodge timer, so only use it straight after a dodge. With practice, this becomes a doddle. Now, head back and turn in.
Head back to Dun Niffelem and turn in.
Great, you're... Oh, half way there. Gee, isn't that depressing. You've been questing here for a few weeks, and you're only half way there. /cut
You've now got Feeding Arngrim, a quick and easy quest you can do while you're doing Spy Hunter (a slow and annoying quest).
Here's your new circuit (if you choose to accept it):
1. Pick up Blowing Hot and Cold.
2. Pick up Polishing the Helm.
3. Pick up Blowing Hodir's Horn.
4. Pick up Thrusting Hodir's Spear.
5. Pick up Spy Hunter.
6. Pick up Feeding Arngrim
.
Head out in the valley and use the tooth near the wolf corpse. Don't bother mounting, as the wolf runs at your speed, and for a set time.
While your wolf runs around chasing its tail, use the tooth on a Jormungar, then try and kill it. When you hit around 20%, Arngrim comes and eats it. Rinse and repeat. You'll be done around the same time you're done with Spy Hunter.
Keep your eye on the sky for a protodrake. When you spear one, start off by using dodge, then the big stab, then grip. This can be hard with latency, but time your dodge so it goes off just before he hits you. Keep gripping, and feel free to occasionally small stab. Head back to Dun Niffelem and turn in.
And there you go. You're exalted. Go pick up your super mammoth (three seats, no vendors) for half the price of a tundra. Oh, and your shoulder enchants. Yeah, if you're a scribe, you just wasted your time. No point coming to do this, you get better shoulder enchants
