Guides on how to farm reputation points best and what rewards you can get by doing so.
Once you get to level 70, you will soon find that you want to be Revered or Exalted with a lot of factions. You'll need to be Revered to get your Heroic key for each set of instances, and it's likely that at least one faction will have a reputation item that you'll want to buy.
If you don't plan ahead, getting to Revered with Cenarion Expedition can mean a lot of Steam Vaults runs. If you want to avoid that, a little planning and patience will get you Revered with no trouble.
Ways of Earning Reputation
There are a number of ways to earn reputation with the Cenarion Expedition:
With a little planning, you can utilize the easier methods of gaining reputation (low level instance runs and hand ins) to get to Honored status. After that, completing most of the quests available to you will get you to revered before you reach level 70.
Neutral to Honored
Until you reach Honored status, be sure not to complete any quests that will give you Cenarion Expedition reputation. There are quest givers in western Hellfire Peninsula, eastern Zangarmarsh, northern Terokkar forest, and most of the higher level zones as well. If you don't know what type of reputation is rewarded by a quest, look it up on WoWhead.com.
You will utilize two methods to increase your reputation from Neutral to Honored.
Unidentified Plant Parts can be handed in to Lauranna Thar'well at the Cenarion Refuge for reputation. Each set of 10 plant parts will give you 250 reputation. You can farm these all over the area, although it is quicker for herbalists to kill the Bog Lords in the Deadmire. If you want to spend some money, go to the Auction House and purchase 360 plant parts. If you receive any Uncatalogued Species from your Pack of Identified Plants do not turn them in yet.
Alternatively, you can make a few runs to the Underbog and Slave Pens. Killing monsters in here will give you reputation until you're Honored.
If you combine these two methods, you should be able to get to Honored with a couple of instance runs and a little time or money spent on plant parts.
Honored to Revered
First, look in your bag for any Uncatalogued Species that you found from you Package of Identified Plants. Each of these can be handed in for 500 reputation. It's completely random whether or not you get them, but if you hand in 300 plant parts you can expect to get 1-3 of these items.
Next, continue to do all of the quests available to you. First, you should return to Hellfire Peninsula and complete the quests in the western part of that zone. Then, complete the quests available throughout Zangarmarsh. Once you complete the quests available in Terokkar Forest, you should be 10,000 Reputation or so towards Honored.
You will find another large group of quests available in Blade's Edge Mountain. Doing these should be more than enough to push you into Revered status.
Congratulations! You're revered! You have your heroic key for Coilfang Reservoir. If you plan ahead accordingly and save all quests until after you become Honored with the Cenarion Expedition, you can easily get to Revered by level 67 or 68 (when you reach Blade's Edge Mountain).
Good luck, and happy heroics!

Earning Kurenai / Mag'har Reputation
Background and Prerequisites
Probably one of the first things that comes into mind with all of World of Warcraft, is how things would look on you, and how much of a brag it would be to show off your latest Epic. One of the nicer looking mounts is the Kurenai / Mag'har's Talbuk Epic ground mounts, which is a cross between a Ram, and a Unicorn, shall I say.
This guide is to guide you on how you would earn your Kurenai / Mag'har reputation until Exalted to mount those bizarre creatures.
To earn the reputation, you will need to do a series of quests, and grind mobs, and/or turn in Obsidian Warbeads for reputation. There is a catch though. Those beads can be turned in to the Consortium as well. Though the reward for each 10 beads is 500 for Kurenai / Mag'har, and 250 for Consortium. I would advise to check the rewards for both factions, and decide whether or not to turn in these beads to whoever.
First off, I would advise you to hold off until Level 70 to do this process, as it makes things a lot quicker. You will be grinding level 64 mobs. Trying to grind these at under 70 is still doable, but you will probably spend twice the time. It's your choice however.
Quests are the most rewarding for the work involved. Each related quest grants 500 reputation at least, some are 700. Some straightforward quests involving little work grant substantially less.
Follow this link: http://www.wowwiki.com/Kurenai for a comprehensive list of Quests to complete. It has a list of related quests to follow. Obviously, you would be completing some of them as you level from 60 to 70. Some involve group work, and are impossible to solo at lower levels. Another reason to wait until 70 to complete it, as you can easily solo the Elite quests.
Players will start off unfriendly with Kurenai / Mag'har, and have to work up to Exalted.
Finish the quests to earn about 15000 reputation. It will be a breeze at 70.
This is where the guide kicks off. The quests are the easy part. The not so pleasant part is to grind mobs which grant 10 reputation each. Note that while you complete the quests, you will be earning reputation off mobs as well, so that is added toward your reputation count. After finishing the quests, you should be a little under Revered, or about half way, including all the mobs you destroy. And this is where your grinding journey starts.
It's not going to be easy, but since when do good Epics come at an easy price?
The Grind
Once you have no more quests to turn in, you will have to resort to grinding mobs for 10 reputation each, and also handing in Obsidian Warbeads. Every 10 beads grant 500 exact reputation points, and is a relaxing way to earn those points. However, it is your choice to choose Kurenai / Mag'har or the Consortium. This guide assumes every bead looted goes towards Kurenai / Mag'har.
Every mob you kill in Nagrand will grant you reputation to Kurenai / Mag'har of value 10 each. If you do the mathematics, halfway until Revered is just 6000/12000. And after that comes 0/21000. That's 27000 points we're talking about, and that is 2700 mobs to grind kill. That's a lot to kill. Though fear not, beads are handy. Each mob has a 33% drop rate of beads. Meaning every 30 mobs you kill will grant you 10 beads, and hence 500 reputation. Add that to the 30 mobs you killed, that gives you 800 reputation. Easy? Perhaps.
I grinded this with a 70 Holy Priest, and let me tell you, it was such a bore, I had to move my TV from the lounge into the room, with Lethal Weapon 4 in the background, and Uncle Benny's laughing gas mishap to make my day.
I find that the Burning Blade Ruins is the best way to grind. I have tried other areas, and they were too crowded with other mobs, making pulling easier, and hence frustrating. Other mobs also involve spell locks, which further slow things down. Burning Blade Ruins seems the best place. The drop rate is excellent. Just a little over 35% for beads for me. The cash drop is decent. And the world drops are excellent too. I grinded all the way to Exalted from there.

The area involves a cave, and an open area. Players will move from outside to inside to grind mobs. The respawn rate is excellent might I say. The only downtime I had was through drinks. Once you enter the cave to clear, mobs will have respawned outside, once you finish with the inside.
Persevere, and you will finally reach Exalted.
Now the Mathematics
You all know that mobs grant 10 reputation each, and each mob has an assumed 33% drop rate. Combine 10 beads to give 500 reputation, which effectively means 50 reputation per bead.
Calculate your Exalted offset. Meaning the value left to grind. Say for example, you need 21000 reputation left.
The formula goes;
21000 = (50/3)*X + 10X
Where X is the estimated number to grind.
It works out to become;
21000 = 26.666666667*X
Bang that into a calculator, and work out an estimate of mobs to grind.
X then equals 787.5 number of ogres to kill. An estimate of course.
Drop rates vary, and depend on chance. But an average of 33% is a safe assumption. Like I said, My overall drop rate was a little over 35%. Though minute, It makes a good few hours of difference.
So therefore, after doing all your quests, you need to grind 788 mobs in Nagrand to become Exalted.
Don't forget that you need to turn in the beads, as this guide accounts for them.
What I did was grind until 6000/21000, and by that time, I had 300 beads in my bags. I returned to Telaar (Alliance), and turned them in.
Tada. Grind it, and you will be Revered in no time.
Note: You need to realise that beads can only be handed in 10 at a time. So, make sure you complete 10 to hand in. There's no point knowing you're 450 away from Exalted with 9 beads in the bag, only to discover that you need 10 to complete it. Prepare yourself for that last bead.
And might i say, it is worth the grind to ride this colourful mount!

The Different Factions
You may already know this but I figured it would be best to give you the details of all factions you get in AV.
The best way to gain reputation in AV for each faction is to:
List of Items
Here is a list of the different turn-ins and how much faction they give you:
I hope you enjoyed reading this
Once you get to level 70, you will soon find that you want to be Revered or Exalted with a lot of factions. You'll need to be Revered to get your Heroic key for each set of instances, and it's likely that at least one faction will have a reputation item that you'll want to buy.
If you don't plan ahead, getting to Revered with Honor Hold can mean a lot of Shattered Halls runs. If you want to avoid that, a little planning and patience will get you Revered with no trouble.
There are five ways to gain reputation with Honor Hold:
Neutral to Friendly
When you arrive in Outland, do not do any quests. You should not do these until you have exhausted the other methods of Reputation gain and become Honored with Honor Hold.
Until you are friendly, you should use one of two methods of gaining reputation. The first is to run Hellfire Ramparts or Blood Furnace - the same thing you'll do in the next step.
While waiting to find a group, though, you can do some solo grinding to increase your reputation. There are a number of Orc mobs that will yield 5 reputation per kill. For a complete list, go to Wowhead's page on Honor Hold.
Killing any of these mobs will do, but I found that the Path of Glory is fairly dangerous for a level 58 or 59. I would suggest killing the Orcs along the wall to the south of Hellfire Citadel, namely Shattered Hand Mages, Shattered Hand Guards, and Shattered Hand Acolytes.
Friendly to Honored
Once you reach friendly, these mobs will no longer give you Reputation. At this point, your only option is to continue to run Hellfire Ramparts and Blood Furnace. This may take a while. Your patience will pay off. You will also get a lot of gear that will help you get through the next four or five levels.
You'll get around 700 reputation per run (633 for Ramparts, 750 for Blood Furnace), and you need 6000 Reputation to reach Honored. That's about nine runs in all.
Here are a few tips to speed up the process.
Honored to Revered
Now comes the easy part. Do the rest of the quests in Hellfire Peninsula! Doing all of the quests will yield about 11,000 reputation. This will leave you just short of Revered, and doing one Shattered Halls run once you hit 70 will finish you off.
Of course, if you're human, doing all of those quests will be just enough to push you over the hump at Revered. When I levelled my Human Paladin, I hit Revered with Honor Hold at level 63.
The initial grind may seem tedious, but it will save you a lot of time in the long run. Use the time in between runs to grind on monsters around Hellfire, or go to Zangarmarsh and begin searching for Unidentified Plant Parts.
Good luck, and happy heroics!

ALDOR AND SCRYER REPUTATION GUIDE
Aldor Lore
Shattrath was once the draenei capital of Draenor. Its name means "dwelling of light." When the Burning Legion turned the orcs against the draenei, the fiercest battle was fought there. The draenei foguht tooth and nail, but in the end, the city fell. The city was left in ruins and darkness until the Sha'tar arrived. The Sha'tar, whose name means "born from light", are the naaru who come to Outland to fight the demons of the Burning Legion. The naaru were drawn to the ruins of Shattrath City, where a small remnant of the draenei priesthood conducted its rites inside a ruined temple. The priesthood, known as the Aldor, quickly regained its strength as word of the Sha'tar's arrival spread. Reconstruction of Shattrath was soon underway.
It wouldn't be long, however, before the city came under attack once again...
Scryer Lore
This time, the attack came from the armies of Illidan Stormrage. A large regiment of blood elves had been sent by Illidan's ally, Prince Kael'thas Sunstrider, to lay waste to the city. As the regiment of blood elves crossed the bridge, the Aldor's exarchs and vindicators lined up to defend the Terrace of Light. Then the unexpected happened: the blood elves laid down their weapons in front of the city's defenders. Their leader, a blood elf elder known as Voren'thal, stormed into the Terrace of Light and demanded to speak to the naaru A'dal. As the naaru approached him, Voren'thal knelt and uttered the following words: "i've seen you in a vision, naaru. My race's only hope for survival lies with you. My followers and I are here to serve you."
The defection of Voren'thal and his followers was the largest loss ever incurred by Kael'thas' forces. Nor were these just any blood elves. Many of the best and brighest among Kael'thas' scholars and magisters had been swayed by Voren'thal's influence. The naaru accepted the defectors, who became known as the Scryers.
SO, basically. Aldor are Draenei, and Scryer are Blood Elves.

Upon completion of this quest you'll receive 5500 experience and 10 reputation with Sha'tar. Now Khadgar (who stands right next to A'dal) will have the following quest for you: [65] City of Light. Completing this quest will unlock two quests:
Accept the quest corresponding to the faction of your choice (scroll down to see the rewards before you decide). Choose carefully, as once you start getting reputation with one faction, the other faction will become hostile towards you. You can change faction at a later point, however it involves a lot of farming and work.
There are repeatable and non-repeatable quests for gaining faction. If you are aiming for higher ranks (exalted, etc.) you should save the non-repeatable quests for later (it gets harder to get faction, the higher your rank is), as the non-repeatable quests give a big faction boost.
Most people (beside Draenei) will start out with the Neutral reputation rank. Draenei are already friendly upon completion of the first quest.
In order to get Aldor reputation, you need to turn in Mark of Kil'Jaeden (click here to view the item) at Adyen the Lightwarden, who can be found in the Aldor Rise. You have two possible options:
The Marks drop from lower ranking minions of the Burning Legion. Click here to see examples of mobs that drop the Marks.
(also note that Marks of Kil'jaeden can only be turned in until level 68! Then you need to turn in Marks of Sargeras or [item]Fel Armament[/item] )
After turning in a few you will be friendly with Aldor. You will continuously be able to turn in Mark of Kil'jaeden from Friendly-Honored. Once you turn in approximately 250 marks, you will be honored. Then you can either, go to Area 52 in Netherstorm, and get quests from the Draenei (however there are more non-repeatable quests, for a full list click here and scroll down) in the inn and do those lines of quests, or you can turn in Mark of Sargeras(click here for the item) from Honored-Exalted, which are also 25 rep points per, or 250 per 10. (Those drop from level 68+ mobs belonging to the Burning Legion. They can be found in Blade's Edge Mountains, Netherstorm, and Shadowmoon Valley). Click here for a list of mobs that drops this item.
Also, you can turn in [item]Fel Armament[/item], they are a bit harder to find/get, but they give more reputation. You can turn these in on the Aldor Rise in Shattrath City at Ishanah, High Priestess of Aldor (he's inside the Shrine of Unyielding Light), they give 350 reputation points per. This is a very good way to get Aldor Reputation.
Depending on the amount of non-repeatable quests you do, you will need approximately between 900-1300 Mark of Sargeras or 80-95 [item]Fel Armament[/item] to get exalted.

Most people (beside Blood Elves) will start out with the Neutral reputation rank. Blood Elves are already friendly upon completion of the first quest.
In order to get Scryers reputation (especially at lower levels), you need to turn in Firewing Signets (click here for the item) at Magistrix Fyalenn, who can be found on the Scryers Tier. You have two possible options:
The Signets drop from lower ranking minions of the Firewing. (Northeast region of Terrokar Forest) Click here to see examples of mobs that drop the Signets.
(also note that Firewing Signets can only be turned in until level 68! Then you need to turn in Sunfury Signets or [item]Arcane Tome[/item] )
After turning in a few you will be friendly with Scryers. You will continuously be able to turn in Firewing Signets from Friendly-Honored. Once you turn in approximately 250 Signets, you will be honored. You can turn these in on the Scryer's Tier in Shattrath City at Voren'thal the Seer (he's inside the Seer's Library), they give 350 reputation points per turn-in. This is a very good way to get Scryers Reputation.
Depending on the amount of non-repeatable quests you do, you will need approximately between 900-1300 Sunfury Signets or 80-95 [item]Arcane Tome[/item] to get exalted.
Aldor and Scryer Rewards
That will be all for this update. In the future, I will try to add the inscriptions, a map of Shattrath City, and possibly areas to get the reputation items.
Once you get to level 70, you will soon find that you want to be Revered or Exalted with a lot of factions. You'll need to be Revered to get your Heroic key for each set of instances, and it's likely that at least one faction will have a reputation item that you'll want to buy.
If you don't plan ahead, getting to Revered with the Sha'tar can mean a lot of instance runs. If you plan ahead, you can make it to revered with some cash or time spent grinding, a series of quest chains, and about three instance runs.
There are three ways to gain reputation with the Sha'tar:
By combining these three methods correctly, you can get to Revered shortly after hitting 70.
Neutral to Honored
When you hand in items that give you Aldor or Scryer Reputation, your chat log doesn't record a change in Sha'tar Reputation. However, if you open the Reputation pane, you'll see that Sha'tar Reputation does indeed increase at a rate of 50% of the Reputation gains made for Aldor or Scryer.
A hand in of Marks of Kil'jaeden, Marks of Sargeras, Firewing Signets and Sunfury Signets will grant 125 Sha'tar reputation. A hand of a [item]Fel Armament[/item] or an [item]Arcane Tome[/item] will grant 175 Sha'tar Reputation.
Until you are Honored with the Sha'tar, do not do any quests that will grant Sha'tar reputation. Instead, continue to gather and hand in items for your faction - either Scryer or Aldor. You could farm the items directly, but it would probably be more time efficient to farm another item for money and then purchase the reputation hand ins on the Auction House. You will eventually want to be Exalted with either the Aldor or the Scryers, so this is killing two birds with one stone.
Honored to Revered
For the next 12,000 Reputation points, you'll want to complete a number of quest chains that grant Sha'tar Reputation. Completing all of these quest chains, along with the three required instance runs, will get you to Revered or within a few points.
Quest chains in Terokkar Forest:
Quest chains in Shadowmoon Valley:
Quest chains in Netherstorm:
The final quest chain (beginning with Warp-Raider Nesaad) will take you through the Mechanar and Botanica to obtain the Arcatraz key. You will then have to go into the Arcatraz and kill the final boss - Skyriss. Doing these three instance runs will grant you approximately 5600 Sha'tar Reputation.
Once you have completed these quest chains, you should be Revered or within a few points of Revered. If you haven't quite made it, you'll need to make one more run into one of the Tempest Keep instances. You could also try to arrange for one of your instance runs to be made while A'dal's Song of Battle is active (the buff granted to all players after someone kills Kael'thas and hands in the [item]Verdant Sphere[/item]).
Revered to Exalted
Many players will want to get to Exalted with the Sha'tar, including tanks (looking for [item]Crest of the Sha'tar[/item]) and healers (looking for [item]Gavel of Pure Light[/item]).
The only way to continue to advance your reputation is to return to one of the Tempest Keep instances. If you want to continue to run regular instances, you should focus on the Botanica. It provides the most reputation per full clear.
If you want to work on getting a [item]Badge of Justice[/item] or two, though, you should go to Heroic Mechanar whenever possible. The first three "bosses" (the Mechanical boss and the two Gatekeepers) are very easily and quickly killed (30-45 minutes), so people are always willing to go. You will easily find a willing group, and you can obtain three Badges and a hefty amount of rep for very little time invested.
Congratulations on earning your Warpforged Key, and happy heroics!

Darnassus Reputation
Rewards
How to raise your reputation
- A Donation of Wool
- A Donation of Mageweave
- A Donation of Silk
This should bring you 150 reputation for each quest = 450 reputation in total. You also unlock the quest "Additional Runecloth", which is a repeatable level 50+ quest, allowing you to raise your faction as high as Exalted.
Go to Un'Goro and gather Un'Goro Soil. Whenever your pouch is up combine the soil with the Thaenis Seeds. You will need about 60 Un'Goro Soil to be on the safe side as the combine doesn't always yield Morrowgrain. At some point you will be out of Thaenis Seed, when that happens go back to Darnassus and turn in Un'Goro Soil, you'll be able to purchase more Thaenis Seeds from Arch Druid Fandral, once this quest is complete. (For this turn in you'll need 20 Morrowgrain)
After doing the remaining combines, complete the quest "Morrowgrain Research" at Arch Druid Fandral (requires 10 Morrowgrain). Make sure that you have 10 more Morrowgrain in your bags and go to Feathermoon Stronghold. Get the quest "The Mystery of Morrowgrain" and complete it. Morrowgrain may now be turned in to Quintis Jonespyre, Feathermoon, or Mathrengyl Bearwalker, Darnassus, yielding 25 reputation per 5 Morrowgrain. (from level 47-50... that means 5 reputation at level 60)
Now go to the 48-51 Bloodelves in Azshara, they can be found approximately here

Any other Runecloth farming spot works for this btw, but I chose the Bloodelves as this spot is often deserted and the mobs have fairly low HPs. Also you can take a flight from Azshara to Darnassus to do turn ins once you have no Un'Goro Soils anymore (or once your bags are full). Kill those Bloodelves over and over until you either fill up your inventory with Runecloth or until you have no Un'Goro Soil anymore. (Note If you sell the junk you get here or if you destroy it is up to you... selling it will of course slow you down but might bring you very nice cash in the long run).
5 x Morrowgrain = 25 Reputation (at Mathrengyl Bearwalker) (Note that you get 25 reputation at level 47-55, after that the reputation you get decreases by 5 per level you take, that means you'll get 5 reputation for a morrowgrain turn in at level 60)
20 x Runecloth (one stack) = 50 Reputation (at Raedon Darkstriker)
This is how much reputation points it takes to get from one reputation rank to another
- Snowflake
Addition from Haza:
Nice, I'd also recommend Felstone Field/Sorrow hill for runecloth farming in WPL.Blackrock Stronghold/Firegut Ogres in Burning Steppes.
On the server's i've been on the blood elves in Azshara have been farmed to the max.
First off, this guide is going to specifically focus on helping Orcs who wish to be able to purchase a Raptor mount at level 60, and without spending unnecessarily on turn-in cloth. While the Forsaken and Blood Elves can also ride these mounts at exalted, they begin at neutral with the trolls, and thus will most likely spend considerably on cloth. (I've never tried to collect troll reputation with either of those races, so I don't know for sure. In any event, this guide will still help you.)
- Why should I go to all the trouble?
Reputation with individual races within your faction has two benefits. At Honored reputation, you get a 10% discount with all vendor purchases; if you work all the way up to the highest level, Exalted, you become able to purchase that race's unique mount. (Note: Tauren can only ride their racial mount, the Kodo, and the Orc's wolf mount.)
Collecting Darkspear Troll reputation without relying on cloth purchases comes down to one thing, and one thing only - quests. There are many quests in the game that give you large chunks of reputation with a specific faction, and Trolls are no exception. I will be outlining the path to these large reputation gains in this guide. In addition, almost every other quest that gives you reputation with a Horde faction will give you what is referred to as "splash reputation" - reputation in smaller quantities. As there are a great many orc, tauren, and forsaken quests in the old world, splash reputation adds up significantly.
- Alright, alright, I get the point. Enough introduction! Where are the large quantities of Darkspear Troll reputation?
Pushy, aren't they? Fine - here goes.
Regular Quests:
1. Complete every quest in Durotar. I'm completely serious. Every quest in the Valley of Trials, Sen'jin, Razor Hill and elsewhere gives a significant gain of Darkspear Troll reputation.
- Valley of Trials
- Sen'Jin
- Razor Hill; don't miss the guy in the watchtower above the outpost
- The goblin Rezlak, north of Razor Hill and just west of the road, with two quests involving Harpies
- The troll Rhinag, located in a cluster of rock halfway in between the road near Rezlak and the river
- Misha Tor'kren, located at the marked house on the map, northwest of Razor Hill with a quest called "Lost But Not Forgotten"
- After completing the quest at Razor Hill "Dark Storms", you get a followup to an orc named Margoz. Find him - there's a cave due east of Orgrimmar called Skull Rock, and Margoz can be found due south of that cave. Get his followup, and then go to Skull Rock. Collect the 6 collars required for Margoz, then search the cave for a level 14 orc called Gazz'uz. Kill him, loot the eye, and turn in at Neeru Fireblade in Orgrimmar.
2. There is a relatively high amount of splash reputation to be gained in the Barrens, as well as the level 20ish quest "Egg Hunt" and the final quest in the Barrens harpy chain which goes to Malaka'Jin in the Stonetalon Mountains.
3. At Malaka'Jin, there are two quests other than the turn-in. One at the small structure off the the right, involving spider slaying; the other, from the witch doctor in the cave.
4. At Grom'gol Base Camp in Stranglethorn Vale, there are two trolls surrounding a cauldron. Completing all their quests, including the one that is completed in the Hinterlands and the ones from the cauldron, are worth significant reputation.
5. There are trolls inside the outpost of Hammerfall. Completing all Stromgarde quest chains, plus other quests like the one to kill Marez Cowl and the raptor chain involving Gor'mul and Tor'gan, are worth significant reputation.
6. In southwestern Desolace is a troll-dominated village called Shadowprey. Complete all troll quests.
7. There are trolls at the Zoram Strand, located in the northwest of Ashenvale. Do these quests, then get the quests from the troll in the structure on the right side for Blackfathom Deeps.
Instance Quests:
Note - soloing instances is an ideal way to collect large amounts of wool, silk and mageweave for large chunks of troll reputation. Turn in 60 of each near the Orgrimmar mage trainers.
1. Blackfathom Deeps has an extremely high amount of troll reputation to be gained. First, you need to have the two quests from the Zoram Strand troll. Then, head to the caverns outside the actual BFD instance and kill Priestesses until you get the quest item "Damp Note". Run back to the Zoram Strand, turn in and get the follow-up (so that you don't need to make two instance runs). With these three quests in hand, enter the instance (completing the sapphire quest on the way). Find and get the quest from the Argent Guard, Thaelrid "Blackfathom Villiany". Find and kill Lorgus Jett, then head to the pool. Upon retrieving the Fathom Core at the bottom, kill the elemental that spawns for yet another quest item. You should now have five quests. Complete them all, and turn them all in for nearly 2,000 troll reputation.
2. One of the mage trainers in Orgrimmar gives a quest to kill rock elementals just outside the actual Maraudon instance. Do so for solid reputation points.
(More to come in this section.)
Upon completing all these steps, you should be a fair distance into Revered. The rest of the ground can be made up easily by completing nearly any Horde quests you wish that are not handed out by a troll, in the form of splash reputation. Good luck!
