Make gold quickly and simply using nothing but disenchanting and the Auction House.

So you want to hear a secret?

Since release date, I have read countless of articles boasting about quick and simple ways to make money in The World of Warcraft. I have yet to find a more simpler way than the one method that was right infront of us all along. If you are an enchanter or have taken enchanting as your profession in the past, you will know how ridiculously pricey the materials for enchants on the Auction House are. You can use this to your advantage!

All you need is:

The profession of Enchanting.
Starting Gold.
An understanding of what sells best.
A bit of patience.

What you do is:

Go to your local friendly neighborhood Auction house, and search for Wicked Leather Headband. They generally sell for 1-2 gold a piece. If they are less than 2 gold buyout, take them all. Otherwise, open bid on them. Sure, you may not win them but at least you get your money back and you can try again. Whenever you are around an Auction House, see if there are anymore up for grabs. You must be asking yourself, why are these so important? Well I'll tell ya! These headbands have a chance to disenchant into one of 3 materials which each resale for at least 1 gold a piece.

Illusion Dust Between 1-2 Gold each. (Often drops more than one at a time!)

Greater Eternal Essence Between 4-6 Gold each.

Large Brilliant Shard Between 4-7 Gold each.

Think of it as gambling, you have had a good day as long as you walked out with the same amount of money as you walked in with. A bit more is simply a bonus! I kid you not when I say, I have made up to 100g an hour just from this method alone. It just takes a bit of patience.

So how did he do it? How did he figure it out?

Well boys and girls, it's simple. One day, I was looking up materials for an enchant I wanted and noticed the prices on the Auction House. It was ridiculous! I decided to do a Thottbot search on the materials needed so that I could acquire them myself since I was a disenchanter. Sure enough, I found what I was looking for, and plus some. Disenchanting works in the same way as drop percentages do. All you have to do, is find an item that is easily acquired, that costs you less than what you get out of it. What could possibly be more simple than that?!

Sure, I could farm Uldaman, Dire Maul, Scarlet Monastary, or whatever else but why if I don't even need to leave my HOUSE?
