wrath of the lich king

Not enough info for a guide here yet, but definitely enough now for a post.

I wrote Jame just before WotLK. Some friends finally convinced me to play WoW this year. I consider myself lucky I found wow-pro.com quickly. Despite much PvP and profession distraction, I reached level 70 while starting the BEM section of the guides here.

I stopped most of my questing right then so I could resume them for experience when WotLK came out.

Here're my observations:

The Death Knight FAQ has been updated, an explanation of the Runeforging system was added as well as a link to my suggested Leveling Talent Builds, which also contains a list of DPS Rotations to use to do the most damage possible with your Death Knight while leveling.

My Northrend guides will have many improvements and will also be organized in a different manner, compared to my old leveling guides.

Here's a quick list of changes:

• 1 Zone = 1 Chapter
• Achievements included
• Every quest taken or turned in is mentioned
• Shorter maps

As I promised yesterday on my blog, here is a preview of my Death Knight Leveling Guide. Both the Alliance and the Horde ones are pretty much finished at this point, but I won't release them now for security reasons (too many shady websites ripping off my guides :/ )

Anyway, here are a few pieces of my guide, just to give you a taste of how my first class specific leveling guide will look like, and that's just the tip of the iceberg

That's what I'm trying to figure out at the moment. As I'm currently writing my Death Knight Leveling Guide, I've been testing various builds and trying to find out which talent build allows you to level the fastest.

I can't say I'm a pro about the Death Knight class, it's fairly new and the talents are changing every week, so it's hard to tell, but I've done my math and my research and I came up with a build which I believe is the best for leveling, doing solo quests and farming.

It's official, Wrath of the Lich King will be in stores on the 13th November 2008. That means less than two months. Yay!

What does that mean for wow-pro? Well that means a change of plans for my release dates. Time is running out, so I won't be working on the additional quest circutis for Netherstorm and Shadowmoon Valley until further notice.

Instead, I'll be focusing 100% on my Northrend 70-80 Leveling Guides for both Horde and Alliance and then on my Death Knight Leveling Guides.

A new type of loot is already available on the wrath of the lich king beta servers. You all already know the other categories:

• Bind on Pick up
• Bind on Equip

We'll now have Bind to Account items. This means that when one of your characters buys such an item, ALL the other characters on your account can also use it. These items also have another special feature: they scale with levels.
