| How to get a Dreadsteed
3.5 Average: 3.5 (2 votes) The epic mount for warlocks, is attainable at level 60, as all other classes. However, for us is slightly cheeper, although perhaps more difficult. But the finally is well worth it, not to mention over 70,000 experience! REQUIRED MATERIAL As you are doing these quest, you should also be collecting the following materials, as you will need them to finish this quest. I spent approximately 100 gold on these in the auction house. This will make you next target Burning Steppes, coordinates 12, 31. Speak to Mor'zul and Gorzeeki, pick up: Go back to the hollow part of the cave where the bridges are and look for Ulathek(41,49) in one of the rooms. Take out your voidwalker, if you have not already. Talk to him and go through the dialogue. About four guards will attack you along with Ulathek. Focus fire on him and make sure voidwalker area taunts(suffering). When he is dead, loot him. You can keep taking out the guards if you like, but I just ran away. You don't need to kill them. I just sacrificed my voidwalker and walked away. Run back to Banehollow and turn in the traitors heart and get the follow up: Purchase some dust from the guy behind him and we are off to Winterspring. I hit up around The Hidden Grove(65,19) for these raging beast blood. Took about an hour. Once you have everything you need, go back to Burning Steppes, and turn in your quests. If you have all your mats, you willl turn over quite a bit of experience. Pick up and turn in the following: -Bell of Dethmoora Also pick up Imp Delivery, and get your party for Scholomance. Once there head to the southern most room, were Ras Frostwhisper's alchemy lab is, clear the room, and open your Imp in a Jar; watch J'eevee do the work. That done, we are back to Wildeyes for the last quest! The climax!! This the end, and you are an hour away from your epic mount! Nervous? I know I was. Clear your way through to Immol'thar, who is imprisoned in the west end of the west wing. On your way, be sure to collect as many soulshards as possible, about twenty, to be safe. Also, to break Immol'thar's prison, you must find the five pylons scattered through out Dire Maul. They are powered by arcane-immune Arcane Remnants and Arcane Aberrations, which must be killed to deactivate them. Be sure to clear the Garden area prior to defeating Tendris Warpwood. My party almost wiped here. Once defeated, you will be attacked by anything left alive behind you. Once he is dead, head through the door and clear the circle surrounding Immol'thar, rest, buff and head in for the kill.

It is still fun to achieve
Here I read people don't do the dreadsteed quest line anymore.
That is a pity, I liked it a lot even with the costs included which is not much at lvl 80.
Now I have to say i bought the dreadsteed first, but I liked to have the feats of strength achievment aswell, just to show off in my guild
So I decided to finish my once started questline.
Now at lvl 80 with standard pre-raid gear i was able to solo the whole event, it took some effort, but it turned out to be rather easy.
First clear everything and have Immol'thar killed. rest and eat..(I did not use potions at the time) get your voidwalker up. And start the ritual.
As soon as J'eevee is finished imps will come and enter the circle. You stay OUT of the circle on the grass surrounding it, and let your voidwalker aggro in the middle of the circle. Keep a close look to the outside of the cage before the imps and guards will enter the stay there, make sure you don't bump into them. Your voidwalker will survive the first waves easy.
You will pay attention to the relics to keep them up. If any of the objects fail fix it without aggro because your voidwalker keeps all the mobs in the middle.
When your voidwalker is on half of its health health-funnel him to full and go on with the relics.
I also started a timer when J'eevee finsihed, at about 4 minutes a lot of felguards enter the circle and I killed some off them to get some stress off my voidwalker just make sure your void stays in the middle of the ritual circle. After 6 minutes al the drawings are completed and all the mobs will be killed outside the circle.
kill off the remaining and rest.

Sadly, I don't think this is
Sadly, I don't think this is very useful anymore. The quest was recently replaced by being able to get it from a trainer.
quest replaced?! I think not
The quest was actually not replaced, unless they just did it Monday. I just completed this quest Saturday night. There has been, however, an "easy button" added for any warlocks who are not interested in doing things the classic way. From what I understand, you must make 61, train for journeyman riding, and buy a mount. Then you may go to your trainer and learn the spell Dreadsteed. I think.
I said that because, in all
I said that because, in all honesty, I doubt anyone wants to do all of these old world instances again. You may want to do the quests, but are not able to. You only have to get journeyman riding to learn the Dreadsteed now, though.

Even though its currently
Even though its currently not viable there will always be someone willing to try. Plus its just a lot of fun doing this quest, even though its very painful to perform the last step.

Hmm, how can I make it
Hmm, how can I make it clearer.
You go to file attachments (it's below the guide when you're editing it)
You upload the picture you want to put in the guide.
After the picture is loaded, you will see the link to that picture, still in file attachements.
Copy that link.
Paste that link inside the guide, where you want the picture.
Add the following tags around the link:

Suggestions
First off, try using the correct name of the mount you're going to talk about. It's Dreadsteed, not Dresdsteed
.
Also, the guide could use some text formatting. I recommend reading through Jame's Writing Guide for this.
You could also add an image of the Dreadsteed, just to show those warlocks how awesome the Dreadsteed really is!
Thanks for the critique
i actually did you use the guide writing guide, couldn't figure out the pictures though...
still working on it.
anything else?

A good start!
Its a good start. I say keep up the work and look it over a again. Just a few errors through out, and a few screenshots for the final event would be a good idea. Help show people what you're talking about.
