Shaman Elemental Talent Guide

Hey guys im here to show u a great spec for shamans.
Before Wotlk only enhancement was a viable dps but guess what! elemental is back and viable for raid dps.

well lets have less talk and more info.

After you check out my talents, and get situated, I will tell you how to set up your Action Bar like mine

Action Bars:
Enable them all please.
Ok the top right ones for me are all my totems, first starting at second row top, is mana totem, under that strength of earth, to the left now starting at top, wrath of air, and our talent totem under that.

Ok now to start with where your spells are going to be,
this is all on the bottom left UI.
1:attack
2:lightning bolt
3:frost shock
4:chain lightning
5:lavaburst
6:flame shock
7:earth shock
8:wind shock
9:lesser healing wave
0:healing wave
-:thunderstorm
=:elemental devastation

Rotation:
our rotation is based on haste pretty much

Its flameshock>lavaburst>lightning boltx4or5 depending on ha'ste.
Remember to reset flame shock after it wears off

Glyph's:
make sure you have these, Glyph of flame shock, glyph of totem of wrath, glyph of ligntning bolt, those are the majors.
minors can be w/e u want, most people take reincarnation,water shield, and astral recall.

Wrong spec

When leveling try to get the enchantment tree in place from mid 20s

As for where you put your spells that is up to the single player but yours is messy.
And your spell rotation is also wrong.

The spell rotation should read:

Elem mastery-flame shock-lavaburst-chain lightning-lightning bolt-lightning bolt-chain lightning-lavaburst-lightning bolt.
Use elem mastery as soon as it is off cooldown.
Always use flametounge weapon, The spell not the totem. And always keep water shield up.

If you solo you will cast following totems; Read non group in macro
You will mostly use two set of totems. i will describe a macro for if you are in a caster group or in a meleegroup where you the only caster.

Caster Group Totem set:
/castsequence [nogroup] reset=6 mana spring totem, Totem of Wrath,Stoneskin Totem,Wrath of Air Totem
/castsequence [group] reset=6 mana spring totem, Totem of Wrath,Stoneskin Totem,Wrath of Air Totem

Melee Group Totem set;
/castsequence [group] reset=6 mana spring totem, Totem of Wrath,Strengt of Earth Totem,Windfury Totem
/castsequence [nogroup] reset=6 mana spring totem, Totem of Wrath,Stoneskin Totem,Wrath of Air Totem

Be prepared to throw in Cleansing Totem and sometimes Nature Resistance Totem especially in AN and Old kingdom.

Magma totem is also a Good AOE friend but try not to cast it often and let the tank get a good aggro before u attemt it.
And before you get totem of wrath you will use Magma Totem as it give you more DPS then Searing Totem.

Gear wise you will first look for spellpower as it increases your DPS and then Crit.
in northrend you will also look for hit rating as you dont want to waste a lava burst as it is a guaranteed crit if you have flame shock on target. Oh it is also critical that you have glyph of flame shock but glyphs where actually correct in the guide.

When it comes to raid you will want to gem and gear yourself to be hit capped so do a bit of wintergrasp battles as 1 helm and the sabbaton boots is a good way to start with the hit gear.

and i recommend that you will follow To many alts website as he is on of the most updated shaman sites i have found.
