| 5000g in 7 days - Part 1 Quel'Danas
0 The Quest Portion of this guide is based on the Shattered Sun Offensive quests both in Outland and on Quel'Danas. All quests are titled and valued as their Daily version. The stage this guide is written caters for the Badge Vendor stage of island progression, when I did my gold grind the Alchemy lab was not open. I realize that their are other Daily Quests out there, if you wish, incorporate them into this regimen, however, I'm giving you the run down of the strategy I used Shattrath City Now enter the portal to Quel'Danas Note: If you are a herber and/or miner, exhaust every node you come across for Gaining the Advantage Isle of Quel Danas
1.) Just pick up 4 of the remnants for now, then when you head back through the Harbor between step 3 and 4 you can click on the crystal. 9g10s - Picked Up and Completed on Isle of Quel Danas 2.) 9g10s - Picked Up and Completed on Isle of Quel Danas 3.) 11g 99s - Picked Up and Completed on Isle of Quel Danas Whilst you're here, don't forget to visit 42,35 for Know your Ley lines Once done here travel through the harbor and click a crystal to utilize the mana remnants from part one. 4.) 10g 10s - Picked up and completed on Quel'Danas Whilst you're here, don't forget to visit 48,44 for Know your Ley lines 5.) Disrupt the Greengill Coast AND Don't stop now...Kill Darkspine Sirens (about 5 to be safe) to get "Orbs or Murloc Control" (100% drop rate) Use these orbs by right clicking them in your bags then an AOE icon will appear at your cursor, make sure at least 2 pesky Murlocs are in range and then click the screen to send them bonkers. Whilst killing Sirens kill EVERY Darkspine Myrmidon until you loot 3 keys (stored on key ring) once you loot the keys, you can open the little chests laying around for the ore... This quest has a bi-polar drop rate of the keys, some days I killed 15 Myrmidons, others I only needed 3. You don't have to have all 3 keys before you open the chests, you can loot a chest every time you get one if you wish. Whilst you're here, don't forget to visit 61,62 for Know your Ley lines 23g 98s (11g 99s x 2) - Both quests Obtained and Completed on Quel'Danas If you follow my map you should be back in the harbor. At this time visit the flight master area (NPC on the right) to undertake the following quests... (in either order) The Air Strikes Must Continue 9g 10s - Obtained and Completed on Quel'Danas Once you complete this quest, move on to the next Keeping the Enemy at Bay This time you use Flaming Oil in a similar manner to the Arcane Charges, except instead of dropping them on demons, you take out each of the ships as you fly by them. Once you land kill 6 of the mobs. If the landing ship is busy, you can swim to the others if you wish. Once done, head back to the landing ship, and fly on home. 7g 58s - Obtained and Completed on Quel'Danas When you land, you are ready to turn in your quests... On the first circuit, I mentioned the Ley Line quest... Here is the info on that. Know your Ley Lines 11g 99s - Obtained and Completed on Quel'Danas My realm is not very progressed, but there is another quest called Open for business if your realm has opened the Alchemy Lab. Should this be available by all means do it! Very very easy to find the little green and red bushes dotted around the Island on your travels. Collect 5 11g 99s - Obtained and Completed on Quel'Danas Before you scroll portal/hearth back Shattrath, Be sure you have picked up the following Quests- Now it's time to go to part 2! See you there!

Incorrect gold amounts
As of WotLK and patch 3.0.8 the gold amounts have apparently been nerfed. The first daily listed went from 9g10s to 3g40s. Just though people would like to know that since you can only do 25 dailies a day.

Yup, this is outdated. And
Yup, this is outdated. And it's not that it's been nerfed, it's that you are higher level and the quests are gray to you, meaning they give less XP and therefore less gold. I think.
Spriest and Warlock grind for motes of water - great spot
hey all, I got a tip from a friend of mine that proved to be a truely grand spot to grind for motes of water. There is a small lake just north east of shatt..Silmyr Lake i think its called.. Theres quite a few Shimmerscale Eel's in there. From my Spriest, one SWP is enough to kill them, so i just shield and start popin the Dot. Its easy to dot as many as you can get in range , which for me comest o 7 or 8 at a time. If there isn't anyone else in the lake, its easy to get the spawn rotation and you can go non-stop as lng as you have an underwater breathing pot. I'm sure a lock with dots would be just as easy. - 30-35% mote of water drop just like any other water elementals, but they're tons easier to kill. check it out.. sometimes its less competative than the elemental plateau
What about the Cooking and fishing quests?
Thank you so much I think this guide is great as a whole.
I have noticed that things have been forgoten like the Daily fishing and cooking quests that can net money as well as item that can sell to vendors or can be sold on AH for a good amount (like the random 12 stam blue gem that sells for 400g-500g on average)
the only fishing quest that will be a pain to do is the one that requires you to go to Stormwind to fish for a crock (that has a random drop for a NCP bucket that holds a crock)
I will put it all in context and figure out the average 7 day money toll in conjunction with the fishing and cooking..
Amazing
This guide is great! I used it and got my mount in 6 days (Maybe I was just good wit h the AH) but the point is I got it and I am working on my drake right now!
Thanks alot for this guide and I hope more people use it

One quick note - the Nether
One quick note - the Nether Residue for the quest Gaining the Advantage drps from Skinning as well, not just Mining and Herbalism.
By the way, great guide and excellent circuit, however I like to start with the Greengil Coast part, as I want to get rid of the most annoying part from the start (the droprate on those keys is MURDER, I tell you!)

I haven't tested it yet, but
I haven't tested it yet, but I skimmed through it and it seems pretty damn good. Thank you, I'll try it and give feedback as soon as I get some time
