| Petshop- Make 500g with almost no effort (really!)
3 Average: 3 (2 votes) Warning! This guide is only for Alliance players. I will try to make a horde guide with other pets to sell. Hi! This is my first guide and I hope you like it. This method is tested by me and it works! I´ve made almost 800g in about 5 days using this technique. The profit may be different on other servers but you should still make some gold of it Recommended Character Level: lvl 30+ (you can be lower but it can be a little harder then). I like to call this method "Petshop". You will see why. 1.Bying pets The pets you should buy are Alliance only pets, and Horde players can only get them by buying them on the neutral AH. For Alliance players the pets cost between 20-60s. Here is a list of some pets that are Alliance-only and where to find them: Here are the locations of the pet vendors:
![]() The vendor sell the cats Bombay, Cornish Rex, Orange Tabby and Silver Tabby. She is in the cottage.
2.Selling pets Now you bought your bags full of pets, it´s time to but them on the AH. Go to Booty Bay or Gadgetzan and put it on the neutral AH. Put them up for 5-10g and if you got the white kitten put it up for about 100-500g, depending on the servers economy. If you are at a lower level than 30 then you may need to spend some gold on an escort to Booty Bay, swim from westfall or tip someone with a multipassanger mount to lift you there. 3.Repeat Now you just wait for the money to come in. The pets that expire you just put back for sale again. When you have sold all of your pets- repeat the cycle. I really hope this technique will generate alot of gold to you. It has worked for me and I´m sure it will work for you to.

Anaconda Chickens
you may want to add the Anaconda Chickens found in shimmering flats near Thousand Needles i'm pretty sure the vendor is near the race way.
new patch
In the patch, few months ago, blizzard allowed us to have horde AND ally character on PvP realm...I am wondering if this method still works?

Grrrrrrr
It works on the server that i dont play regularly (Alliance)
But my Fav one (Horde) i dont get anything
What I would do
Make a low level alliance character (if you are on a PvP realm this wouldn't be a great idea) get mining proffesion sell the copper ore you get you should be able to get 5g (maybe less or a bit more, I would also get my character to about level 15 heck why not 20)go around and buy all the pets then go to booty bay, (park your horde right next to the AH) put the pets on the Ah for 1c buyout. Get on our horde and but them all out and bingo! you now can put them on the horde AH for even more.

Good idea here Retho, except many will discover after buying all the pets on say their lvl 20 charac, and going to BBay AH, Blizzard won't allow (anymore) to make/or have another charac. on the same server on the opposite side: like the Alliance; for exactly this reason. I've tried on my first server and it doesn't work. Guessing afew other enterprising players thought of this too and Blizz. decided it wasn't healthy for those realm and their economys; it tended to throw off the economies of both sides on those realms.

Skint
Well, it seems to me that Alliance players are skint, and Hordies have plenty of G to spend.
Probably due to us owning all the ''Contested'' area's

You might wanna mention the moths in the Exodar too. Everyone loves moths. They're so cute.
Ok, thanks for the tip

This look very well, Thumps
This look very well, Thumps up!
I'm gonna include that one for my Collected Gold Making Guide.
Value of the white kitten
Actually the white kitten is worth about 150g on the alliance AH. I would try it with around 500g in Booty Bay. Recently sold one for around 150g on the alliance AH.
Also you can reach Booty Bay earlier than level 30. Eighter swim down the coast starting at lighthouse south west in Westfall or tip someone with a multipassagener mount to get you down there.

Good start!
First of all, thanks for posting your first guide!
This is indeed a decent tip for low level characters seeking to make gold, and it's one that hasn't really been covered at all here. However, you could really flesh out this guide by covering more alliance-only pets that can be sold over the auction house, such as moths, owls, or the snowshoe rabbit.
I can tell you definitely put some time into the guide, and that's a great thing! A lot of new posters don't really put too much time into their guides. However, there are a few things you should probably fix about the formatting/presentation of this guide.
Again, good first guide, and I think you'll be able to make it even better with some improvements. Hope you continue to contribute to WoW-Pro, and welcome to our community!
Thanks!
Thanks for the critic. Now I know what needs improvment and what doesn´t

Looking better already
It's good to see someone willing to take feedback and apply it! Hope to see more guides from you in the future.
I think now the guide just needs a little more polish, perhaps more formatting. Check out the guide writing section of guides here on the site for how-to, and other highly ranked guides for ideas.

That's the spirit! If you do
That's the spirit! If you do decide to extend the guide to other pets, you could just call it "pet shop" instead of "cat shop"
