Col's Guide To Leveling A Human (Chapter One)

NOTE - If this is your second time here and you are looking for a perticule step, hold Ctrl and the letter 'F' and type in the number, like 01, 07 or 14. The only exception is the number after 12, which is now 13a. Mainly because I don't want anyone getting scared if they are supersticious (but mainly there for a joke!
)
Hello, I am Colaca of Darkspear. I am going to to teach you how to get a good, high level character. I am going to make this an easy-to-follow with easy steps. I have started this because I can rarely find a good guide, that I can follow for more than seventeen seconds. You may disagree and... (rambles on). Lastly, if clothing or weapons drop from a monster, wear it only if it is better than your current one. People with mana should choose intellect over strength, but as a warrior or rogue, intellect is useless, but strength isn't. Choose wisely. And if it is worthless, sell it.
Also, Redslasher of Darkspear sent this to me. "Always accept free things. If it is worthless, sell it. But don't beg for things or you will get banned."

Level One
01. Firstly, watch the cutscene if you wish.
02. Now, if you havn't played this game, I suggest you also read this and also read the turtorial and manual, because I will not explain any controls.
03. I also suggest that, if you are an experienced player, get some addons. If you do not know which to get, think to yourself, 'What am I not good at?" Then go on www.curse.com and search for the addons you need. You'll need something that will show you co-ordinates, so I suggest http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/3440/ .
04. Now onto the game. I suggest you level up to about maybe level two by killing Young Wolves. This is a rare grinding session because I hate it. A good thing is, if you can, either watch a movie on a Portable DVD player or listen to music on an MP3 player.
05. About eight kills later, you should be...
Level Two
06. You will now have a better advantage on this game if you are one level higher than the quest itself.

09. Now go to Eagan Peltskinner (48,40) and recieve the following quest Wolves Across the Border.
10. Now go kill some more wolves for the Tough Wolf Meat and return to Eagan Peltskinner.
11. Remember, I would always advise you to never solo a red or even an orange for some classes.
12. Kill Timber Wolves if you want to level faster or Young Wolves if you want to die less.
13a. After getting eight pieces of Tough Wolf Meat, give them to Eagan Peltskinner.
14. You will have a choice between two items, one leather, one cloth. I will tell you what to get in order. Plate -> Mail -> Leather -> Cloth. Plate is the best, cloth is the worst. Get the highest you can get.
Level Three
15. At this point, I had killed 4/10 Kobold Vermin and handed in Wolves Across the Border.

New Version
A new version of my guide is being created by Deea, which should be good. I am also working on Chapter Two, but, as I am part of the arena torniment, will not be able to add as much.

First of all, please change
First of all, please change that yellow color you use for locations, it is very hard to read yellow text on white backgrounds!
What are you talking about? At this level, there isn't much of a choice between making money and leveling up IMO... And questing isn't such a reliable source of gold at low-mid levels... take two gathering professions instead. And since when do you have a choice between leveling up and making money? If you want to level up, you need money for repairs, quest items, spells/abilities, mount etc. Unless you just wanna be level 5 and stay in front of the AH making money, in which case, why would anyone need a leveling guide anymore?

Thank you for the great comment. I have changed the things you mentioned in patch 1.2 and I am currently in 1.6, so sorry for not replying as early as I should have. Please comment again if you find any other mistakes. Nothing's perfect!
