Poker's Alliance leveling guide - Chapter I (Westfall)

I decided to pick up this guide at Level 12, because from Level 1-11 you can spend your time levelling in Elwynn Forest (Goldshire, Eastvale, and the areas south of Stormwind and Northshire), Dun Murogh (Ironforge and Kharanos), and Teldrassil (Dolanaar, Starbreeze) all dependent on your race. If you've yet to choose your race, I'd suggest going with either Human, Dwarf or Gnome, just because the Night Elves have their homeland on the continent of Kalimdor, which is quite a hike from the Eastern Kingdoms, where this guide takes place.
Pre-Westfall
If you're around level 10 or 11, and want to get up one or two levels easily before entering Westfall, or even get a quick head start on it, I would recommend going to another race's second city. Dwarves and Gnomes, I would recommend going to Goldshire, south of Stormwind, simply because it is closest to Westfall, Night Elves can take their pick at either Kharanos or Goldshire. Kharanos takes up more time than Goldshire, but there are more rewarding quests, including two elite quests. If you're a Human, Kharanos is your best bet less travel time.
Westfall
For those uninformed, Westfall is located to the west of Stormwind City and Goldshire. If you're confused as to how you get there, if you're a Human, when you finish questing in Elwynn, you'll receive a quest which will direct you there, straight down the road from Goldshire. If you're a Dwarf or a Gnome, head to Ironforge and into Tinker Town, where you can take the tram to Stormwind. From there, head south until you reach Goldshire, and then west until you cross a bridge into Westfall. For those Night Elves out there, your route is more complex and it is much more difficult. You need to fly to Darkshore, and from where the Hypogryph drops you off, you need to head west, up the dock until you hit an intersection. Take a left here, and run up to the end of the dock, where a boat will soon arrive. From there, you must take the boat, and you will soon arrive in Menethil Harbor; this location is very important for those who want to go between the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. From there, you need to leave the city, and then continue down the road to the east, and stay on it until you reach Dun Algaz. The route from there is simple, head west to the North Gate Pass, and continue heading that way until you reach Ironforge. From there, follow the route for Dwarves and Gnomes.
When you first enter Westfall, you'll notice that there's a broken down wagon and a couple of glum looking individuals standing in front of it, each of them is a questgiver. Walk towards them and take on the quests [10] Westfall Stew, [12] The Forgotten Heirloom and [14] Poor Old Blanchy.
Run south, and head to the Saldean Farm (56,31). You can turn in [10] Westfall Stew, and get the follow-up. Pick up the quests [12] Goretusk Liver Pie and [15] The Killing Fields.
When you're running from one destination to another, be sure to kill anything you encounter along the way. They can drop quest items for Westfall Stew and Goretusk Liver Pie, and can net you some experience while you travel.
Head to Sentinel Hill, where you can find Questgivers which will give you the quests [10] A Swift Message, [12] The People's Militia, [14] Patrolling Westfall and [15] Red Leather Bandanas.
First off, we're going to want to head to the Wind Rider Master, Thor. Speak with him, and you can complete the quest, [10] A Swift Message, pick up the follow up, and then fly to Stormwind City.
When you arrive in Stormwind, head down the stairs of from the Flight Master towards the trade district. If you have enough money, pick up Flask of Oil x 5 (only if you have the money, they drop in Westfall, and if you're lazy, this is the simplest route), and then head towards the Old Town section of Stormwind. Here, you'll find Osric Strang, a Heavy Armor Merchant, and the next part of your quest. Turn in [10] Continue to Stormwind and get the follow up. While you're here, repair, and get the food and drinks that you need, now continue to the griffin master, turn in the quest, and then accept the follow up.
Fly back to Westfall, and turn in [10] Return to Lewis. From here, head to the Molsen's Farm (46,39), and get some easy kills off of the Defias there, to gather a total of 15 Red Leather Bandanas. While at Molsen's, you can pick up two Oats at (46,38) and (45,35).
Head to 55,20, and kill off some of the Young Goretusks which you meet. Once you've gathered 8 Goretusk Livers, head to the Saldean Farm and turn in [12] Goretusk Liver Pie. Return to Sentinel Hill and turn in [15] Red Leather Bandanas. If by now you have 5 Flasks of Oil, head southwest, past Moonbrook, and towards the Westfall Lighthouse (southwest corner of the map), where you can accept the quest [16] Keeper of the Flame, and then turn it in for 1150 XP. Get the quest [19] The Coast Isn't Clear, and run along the beaches outside of the lighthouse, killing Murlocs to pick up some experience and to help you complete the quest. If an item called Captain Sander's Treasure Map drops, pick it up and read it to begin a chain of quests; note the map drops only off of the Murlocs. When you finish the quest, turn it in.
If you do pick up the Map, then you can start a quest which will get you some easy experience and some pretty valuable items at a low level. You can locate the Footlocker for the first part of the quest at 25,47, and then pick up the next part of the chain. The next part of the quest leads you to 40,47, where you have to locate a Broken Barrel, next to a chimney. The next part of the chain takes you to 40,17, where there is a jug next to a log. The last piece that you need to find for the treasure hunt is at 25,16; for completing this quest you receive an 8 slot bag, 1 Silver Bar, Captain Sander's Sash and Captain Sander's Shirt.
Now, head to Furlbow's Pumpkin Patch, where you can kill some Harvest Watchers (try and kill as many as you can, as you need 20 for your quest), and afterwards head to (49,19), where you can look in a Wardrobe for Furlbow's Heirloom. The quests from here on out shouldn't be too complicated for you, on the Pumpkin Patch, head to (49,21) and (50,18), and get the Oats at each location. Kill as many Harvest Watchers as you have the patience to, and then head to the Saldean's Farm, where there are more Watchers for you to kill (if you need any more).
At the Saldean's Farm, go to the locations (56,31), (52,34) and (52,32), where you can pick up even more Oats. By now, if you should have finished the quest [10] Westfall Stew, as well as the quests [15] The Killing Fields and [12] Goretusk Liver Pie. Turn in all three of those quests, and then head west to the Jangolode Mine.
At the Jangolode Mine, and begin to kill the Defias Trappers and Defias Smugglers, until you've killed a total of 15 of each. Once that much has been accomplished, head back north up the road, and then turn in the quests [12] The Forgotten Heirloom and [14] Poor Old Blanchy. Now, return to Sentinel Hill, and turn in the quest [12] The People's Militia, and then pick up the follow up, as well as [18] The Defias Brotherhood.
Make sure your hearthstone is set to Sentinel Hill, and then head to Redridge (if you have the Flight Path, if not, head to Stormwind, and then run east to Redridge Mountains, and to Lakeshire). The man you're looking for is in the inn, turn in the quest and get the follow up. Now fly back to Sentinel Hill, and speak with Gryan again, grab the follow up, and head to Stormwind. There, you can turn in a quest in Old Town to Master Mathias Shaw, pick up the follow up.
While you're here, you can get several quest for the instance The Deadmines. I'm not going to cover the Deadmines in this guide, but I'll tell you where you can get the quests, and I'll recommend that you run it several times, as it is a great way to level and completing these quests will make your path all the more better.
You can get the quest [15] Speak with Shoni in Ironforge, in Tinker Town on the other side of the tram. Afterwards, you can return to the Dwarven District, speak with Shoni the Silent, and get the quest [20] Underground Assault. When entering the Dwarven District from Old Town, on your right is a building containing a Questgiver who gives you the quest [20] Oh Brother . . .. The final quest is in the upper left corner of the Dwarven District, the quest is [18] Collecting Memories.
When done in Stormwind hearth back to Sentinel Hill. Turn in the quest, and get the final follow up.
Head to Moonbrook, and begin to agro the Defias on the outskirts of town. You may need to bring along a partner to complete this quest, but it's possible to solo this, and isn't very complex to do so if you're careful. In the center of town, the Defias Messenger will spawn every minute or two. Head back to Sentinel Hill and turn in the two quests, and grab the follow up [22] The Defias Brotherhood, as well as [17] Red Silk Bandanas, which can be received from a woman at the top of the tower on Sentinel Hill. From here you can either head to Redridge and start on the quests there, or you can run the Deadmines, my recommendation is to do the latter, and use the Deadmines as a way to level and upgrade your gear, as well as complete the aforementioned quests.
This is the first part of my guide, which I'll continue to add to and update. If someone has anything to add or request, please do so. If you think I did a good job or did a bad job, please list some things I can improve on I'll be adding pictures as I follow this guide with a new alternate.
This guide is certified for use only on World of Warcraft Pro, so please don't take it (that is, if anyone would want to take it).
