Rating System, User Ranks and Rankings

With the great help of a few skilled coders we finally managed to implement a working ”’Rating System”’. You will receive rating for comments and any type of articles (guides/wiki pages).

The more rating you receive the higher your rank will be on our site, all the way up to moderator. Each new rank brings a new set of privileges. For more information please check out [https://www.wow-pro.com/wiki/faq#toc9 our faq].

All contributing members are now compared on [https://www.wow-pro.com/karma_users this page].

Comments can be rated down if they aren’t helpful and will be burried if they receive multiple negative ratings.

”’Features to come in the near future”’:

* Highlighting of comments with a good rating.
* Re-expanding comments that have once been burried.

After few days where IAfter few days where I couldn’t give ratings to Snowflake’s posts now seems to be fixed ๐Ÿ™‚

It’s a nice feature to help people understand which guides are more relevant and which one should be avoided or more work has to be done.

    Thanks Snow and James.

Is the given time frameIs the given time frame somewhere along forever? I have never been able to vote anything up, just down. This could be why there are so few + votes on the front page.

    Quote:Your have already
Your have already given too many karma points for now!
It’s normal, you tried to vote on too many things within a given time frame. There is a limit on how much you can vote per day etc. Not sure if that is a good idea but it is a feature of the module to prevent abuse.

I’m not sure if you got my previous post..This time on firefox it worked. However, on Camino it still doesn’t. : I don’t know if you got my previous post but it said that on Camino, the arrows loaded, then dissapeared.

On CaminoI haven’t tried it out on firefox (can’t until I get home), but on Camino (which runs the same gecko thingy as firefox), the arrows appear while the screen is loading, and then dissapear.

2nd pic bugged out a little, but you can still see that the first picture is with Camino and the second one is with Safari.

Does not workOn both firefix and camino, there is just like a number that appears, in like a text box. No arrows or anything. However, on an iPhone or ipod touch, it works(well, the buttons appear . So, mozilla is NO. Safari is YES. Haven’t tried it out on IE.
