What Profession is the best for money making?

It's really hard to say. Enchanting brings in a lot of money at high lvls but actually makes your broke early on. and mining/herbalism don't make money THAT quickly. They just don't take up much time when you are already grinding. Fishing can be good if you know where to fish, so I'd have to go with that.

You can make gold from any

You can make gold from any profession. The best ones would be a gathering one (Mining, Skinning, or Herbalism). Though if you know how to work the economy and AH system pretty well, you can make a healthy amount of gold from ANY profession at the very beginning. If I did it with Blacksmithing and Enchanting, then it is perfectly possible with any combination Sticking out tongue

This is, of course, true. Although, only 1% of the community playing WoW knows how to use the Auction House to make money. Including me and you, as I can see.

I'd go for Skinning/Mining or Skinning/Herbalism.

If you want to make real money, you should get Inscription and do an extremely secret unspecified thing Eye.
