How to make some serious G without buying any.

This is my first guide for wow, like very first, so don't shred it up too much mmk?

I've found that gold, for some reason is important in wow Laughing out loud. This'll be a guide in which i've made lots of gold in the past.

I won't post the obvious:gathering skills, DE epics,ect.

I'll summarize what i've done before and you can build on it.

Farm ZF/hinterland troll elite mobs.

This in from my experience can get you a gold every 6-10 kills depending on what class and how good your skill/gear is. These mobs drop 10-sometimes 20silver a pop. This may not sound like much, but when your a rogue like me with instant poisens and blade furry...killing 20 of them can equal over 2g in less than 2-3min of grinding. These are easy mobs so you can basically just kill 10 of them in a minute or 2. They don't take much to kill and don't dish much dmg back.

I do this over and over until I get bored and then jump into ungoro crater for some more gold (i'm a greedy bastard =D).

Farm for living essences.

I'm a rogue so killing the tarlords in the north of ungoro is a pain in the place where poo comes out for me. This is probebly true for all classes that are melee because these guys can put a spell on you that can slow you down and your attack speed by 25%. This slows my grinding and annoys me, ALOT.
So it's best to grind for gold here if your a mage/hunter/lock because you can keep your distance from these fellas. They have a high drop rate of things called living essences. They're used for making nr gear and other things. I don't know about what the prices on your server are so if they're low.... still get as many as you can for when the price goes up. On my server they sell for around 14g on average. I got about 10 of these things in 1hr of grinding left and right and made 100g in an hour Laughing out loud (i whole sale em). This is also true for the fire elementals in the center of Ungoro because they have a high drop rateof living essences. These things as you all should know are used in fire enchants for weapons (they look bad assed).

Farm for epics

Here's something for you rogues.

I'll mention a couple mobs that dropped epics for me after around 12hrs total over 5days of killing them (i use them usually unless they're not rogue gear). The giant in the east coast of STV drops the gutripper (an epic lvl 40 dagger and a personal fav of mine because it's good all the way to 60)and the calibrated boomstick, both of these sell for 100-150g on the ah. Note: be patient, i've been killing gorlash time and time again and you just need to wait. Also, it's up to you whether or not to use them or sell for your mount. The boomstick gives +1%crit chance and the gutripper does more dmg than most swords till 46-48ish, just to give you an idea.

If your not high enough to do this or you are high enough but not patient enough, then go to tanaris and kill the bucaneers in the bloodsail compount. Also kill Andre Firebeard as many times as you can (he has a higher drop rate than the mobs around him). Also do the quest to collect the 3 map fragments because it gives you a quest to kill a mob with the highest drop rate for the gutripper in the game (bring a healer with you and put yourself as masterlooter).

This one is for if your not high enough to grind in the places i posted above (LEVEL NOW!).

Wetlands is your friend =D

Most people may not know this, but some people like to get pets that are, "different" from everyone else. And they will pay LOTS for it.

There's a special (rare) pet that drops in wetlands thats called a red whelpling from, well, the red whelps (little dragons) that are all over the mid eastern areas. Kill these things (I know they're cute, but gold is shiny Laughing out loud) non stop. I got my first pet in 1hr of grinding and sold it for 34gold on my server. 34g=1hr, worth it? Hey, I'm just giving you advice on how to make gold, not that you should kill helpless animals. Note: This is a RARE (meaning MABYE YOU'LL GET IT) drop. I killed hundreds of these things (they have a high respawn rate) and got it. The same may not be the same for you. So please don't flame me if you don't get it. However, these things are all killable in 1shot at 60. So don't sweat it. If your 20-25 then kill em for xp and you might make a nice chunk of gold at the same time Laughing out loud.

Call me up on zuluhed if ya wanna grind with me in strat dead Laughing out loud

-Good hunting

farming boe epics and rare drops is not smart

If you truly think that farming boe epics and rare drops in low lev zones is the best way to make money you really have a lot to learn about this game. 1) World epics dont sell for that much anymore (at least the ones you describe) and are definetally worth grinding some silly mobs for a 0.001% drop chance. 2) It is just was wasteful to grind otherwise completely irrelevant mobs just for the rare pet. 34g is nothing. In the time you spend grinding one of them I promise you that you can make more money running instances, using gathering professions, or grinding higher level mobs for trivial stuff like cloth and vendor trash.

On the other hand if you truly like grinding for thigs with a 0.001% drop chance there is a bandit mask that drops from the bloodelfs outside the exodar, which sells for about 5g. Good hunting Evil

I know you told us not to be

I know you told us not to be too rough, but things must be said. For instance, like everyone is saying, BoE epics don't drop from a specific mob. Second, the Tiny Crimson Whelpling MAY be worth it for a regular mount (seeing as its anything from 30g-60g out of 90g) but for the epic is not worth the time. You could mine or skin and make either the same or even more in the same time, without rare drops included. Third, I really wouldn't grind for money. Though rare drops may come and like 20s a pop can come, you can use mat gathering professions to get some good gold too and it helps you lvl your proffesion. Or, if you are daring, you can use those mats to level another profession and get gear money for that. But, once again, I would consider that ill-advised.

what lvl should you be for

what lvl should you be for the hinterland mobs?

Gorlash?

I can't find a reference of the "Gut ripper" or the "Precisely Calibrated Boomstick" dropping off of Gorlash. Which site would have the drop rate? (The drop rate is _the_ most important fact when deciding where to farm for epic equip).

Typically, farming for epics is not worth the time, since epic indicates a near 0% chance of dropping or extreme difficult in obtaining which is why epics are desirable Eye. Farming Silithus for non-epic drops at a much higher drop rate is a far less frustrating way to get gold, IMO.

Well I got mine off of gorlash when I first started out and I got the boomstick (it has been nerfed now to just 14agil, or was it 11?) when I was 60.

Bullshit

You don't farm for world drop epics from a specific mob. If you got a boe world drop epic from a mob, it's because you got ridicilously lucky, not because the specific mob is more capable of dropping it than others.
