"Steinar's" Guide for some money making

Hi everyone !
So Ive played wow in 2 years by now.
And I know how Boooring it can be farming money.
I whanted to share some of my ideas to you all, well I guess many of you guys/girls know all this.
I would say this is more a guide for people that just started wow and whant to make some nice G, may be for mount or new items.
Lets get started !!
1. Choose youre proofesions:
- Check out AH before you choose! (Realms have different prices for stuff)
- Dont take a proffesion like ; Blacksmithing, Leatherworking..... If you just started wow.
- Learn som gathering proffesions I would suggest mining and herbalism.
2. Proffesions added:
- Mining : Get to elwyn forest in fargoodeep mine and mine the veins.
$$BONUS$$: The Vermins drop linen cloth that sells nice on AH.
- Herbalism : I would suggest to get youre skill up untill you can pick up Briarthorn in duskwood. You need 70 skills in herbs. this herb you also get a herb called Swiftthistle and that sells for a nice price on AH!
On some servers a stack is sold easly for 10-14g.
3. Learn to sell youre trade goods:
- Check the AH prices.
- Dont undercut by more than 1-6 silver, you will lose some money in length.
- I would download Auctioneer for helping you, for more information about it read the well written guide "Money Making - Using The Auction House To Your Advantage" you can find this guide under money making.
4. The end:
- Get youre feets on the ground and start making some nice gold.
I really hope this guide will help some peoples, I would love to get som comments back.

Don't let a little thing
Don't let a little thing like tracking dissuade you from taking mining and herbalism together. Skinning is a good profession to have while levelling, because you get more out of the mobs you kill. Once you hit 70, though, it's not as great for farming, because you have to kill a lot to get a little.
You can make a macro to alternate between Find Minerals and Find Herbs. You make a one line macro with a Castsequence involving those two spells. Now bind it to a convenient key. When you're not killing something and your just walking around, spam that macro. Now you can track both nodes at virtually the same time.

to 1) Yes, crafting professions such as BS LW and Tailoring arent the best moneymakers. However, you suggest taking mining and herbalism, which undoubtedly are the best single money making professions, but do not work well in combination as you can only track either herbs or mines but not both at the same time. Therefore, if you want to focus on gathering professions go with mining or herbalism along with skinning.
Enchanting can also be a good moneymaker. It is expensive to level enchanting skills, but you can simply use the professions to disenchant items and sell the materials.
to 2) a great guide to leveling all tradeskill can be found here: http://wow-en.curse-gaming.com/articles/details/1457/
to 3) agreed, you can actually price your items slightly higher than current AH prices if not a lot are currently being sold. For example if you see that there are only 3 stacks of wool cloth being sold for 1g, then it is a safe bet, that there currently is a high demand for wool cloth and you will probably be able to sell your wool for 1.1g
also see if you can buy cheap stuff off the AH and resell it for a higher price. For example some people sell items w/o a bo price and start the auctions at very cheap, bid on the items when they are cheap and resell them later for a profit if you win the auction, if you dont win the item, who care, its no loss to you.
