Finishing Line for Revamp of Horde Leveling Guide & More

The finishing line for the revamp of Jame's Horde Leveling Guide is in sight. I'm currently going through the last two levels and then writing everything together and doing maps. As the finishing period of a guide is always extremely busy, please understand that comment moderation will slow down. Especially in the past few days a few great suggestions have been made in comments and if I didn't get time to reply or implement them, it's really just because I lack time.

Wowhead tooltips

Wowhead tooltips are now working!

The only thing you need to do is search for an item on wowhead and paste the url (you don't even need to use any tags):

http://www.wowhead.com/?item=2592
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=17202
http://www.wowhead.com/?item=19019

We will try to implement additional functionality in the future that will automatically transform those links into the respective item names with color corresponding to rarity.

Rating System, User Ranks and Rankings

With the great help of a few skilled coders we finally managed to implement a working Rating System. You will receive rating for comments and any type of articles (guides/wiki pages).

The more rating you receive the higher your rank will be on our site, all the way up to moderator. Each new rank brings a new set of privileges. For more information please check out our faq.

All contributing members are now compared on this page.

ATTENTION: New Server

We are moving to a new, better server. Any comments or guides you might post at the moment, will probably not appear on the new site. It will take a few more hours until the nameserver changes propagate through internet and until typing www.wow-pro.com directs you to the new server.

Attention: Site's theme is being reworked ATM

The theme is being reworked at the moment with a lot of experimenting going on, we apologize for any inconveniences this might cause. The huge flashy banners everywhere are only gap fillers and that's not how the site will look once it's done. Please make sure to leave a comment if you find any bug or if you have any suggestions regarding the new theme.

Thank you for your patience and see you soon on a completely remodeled site.

New Forums!

We've worked on this all day, but now we finally have new forums!

http://www.wow-pro.com/forums/

You don't need to log in seperately. If you are logged on our site, you will automatically be logged in on forums as well. The new forum has much less categories and is much easier to navigate. Please make sure to try it out and tell us what you think Smiling

New Forum: Do not register please!

We are currently setting up a new forum as our old one wasn't very used. Please do not register there. We are aware that it doesn't work yet and that is perfectly normal for the moment. However as soon as everything is functional I'll inform you about it here and you won't have to register a new account there, you'll be able to log in with your WoW-Pro.com account name and password.

Projects: Easier Participation

We've noticed lately that our old guide project system didn't work quite well. Also guides themselves are often submitted and then abandoned. (no updates, not finished, etc.)

But we are proud to announce that we have implemented a new guide project system that allows everyone to easily participate in improving, writing and maintaining guides.

What to do
Guides where people wish collaboration and active feedback, should from now on be submitted as guide projects.

An example for such a guide project can be found here: click.
