This article is a stub, you can help by expanding it.

This is a list of guides that are still needed by the WoW-Pro community. Before you start a new guide or wiki page, please always check this list and choose your topic from it. This is to prevent people from starting several guides about the same subject. If you absolutely want to write a guide about a topic which is already covered, your guide should at least contain major improvements/differences compared to the already existing guide.

If you decide to write a guide about a topic here, please read Jame's Guide Writing Guide first. Then leave a comment here informing us of the subject you chose to cover. We will then update the list with your name.

Read Me!

Before you sign in for revamping or writing a guide, you should read Jame's Guide Writing Guide. If you want more detailed and specific tips, check out the other guides in the Guide Writing Category.

Now that you know what to do, you can take a look at the needed guide list. It might look a bit confusing on first sight but it's really easy:

In the Status column you can see what the current status of every guide is:

Needed	The guide has not been written yet, and is needed. Feel free to sign up for these guides!
Revisions	The guide has been written, but it needs improvements. Numbers behind the status will forward you to posts with information on the needed improvements. Usually this includes major formatting issues or updates for recent content patches.
In Progress	The guide has been assigned to someone and they are in the process of writing it.
Complete	If the guide has been completed, a link to it will be left up for a little while for your convenience. It will be removed after a week or two.

Now that you're informed about what needs to be done, you have to look at the Progress column if the guide is already in work.

A indicates that there is no one working on this guide at the moment, so feel free to do it!

A tells you that there is someone working on that guide, if you click on the icon you will be redirected to the editors user-page.

If you found a guide that suits you and no one else is working at, you can either write a comment so that someone can add you to the list, or you can try to add yourself.

Please give us an update every week (at least) by changing the Last Updated column and giving some information about your progress in the Progress column so that everyone who wants to know can check how far you are. If we don't hear from you in over a week, and someone else wants to take over revising/writing that section of the guide, it's fair game! This way parts of the guide won't be left unfinished.

I'm also going to make a Scale of the Sands faction guide as well. It will likely be released first. Hyjal is very dependent on that faction and a Hyjal guide isn't complete without a thorough rundown of the Scale of the Sands faction.

I wouldn't mind giving it a quick update, I have alot of experience with Beast Master, having it played from 1 (or 10) to 70, stayed along time with it at 70, and leveled with it to 80 (In which I have played untill Survival started to shine)...

I'm currently leveling my 3rd hunter to 80, and I can assure you that I most likely have twice the amount /played time leveling and playing hunters than most people have. Furthermore, I am currently in the process of leveling and I am therefore quite "up to date".

But if you want to update the BM hunter leveling guide, then go ahead. I just think it's kinda sad because I've been planning this for quite some time now and done all the pre-work, I just didn't sign myself up on this page for it.

But again, if you want to write it, then do that if you think you'll come up with a good result, and I'll accept that lots of work goes down the drain Sticking out tongue

You're right though.

Anyways, since it weren't my biggest project atm I forgot all about signing up. I'm working on it simultaneously with leveling a hunter, so I'm really just taking notes as I go. And now that I'm closing in on level 80, I'll begin really writing the guide.

So that is probably why I haven't signed up, because I haven't begun writing the guide itself yet, I've just done all the pre-work.

Well, it's not like I want to fight over writing a guide, so it's the first person to the mill I guess. But Trollvink haven't signed up either Shocked

I'll let him write it if he wants, it's really not too big of a deal.

Halls of Lightning

I did a short guide to Halls of Lightning just for myself. It needs formatting and inclusion of drops but if has the key aspects of the fight for non-heroic. Thought it might be useful until a more complete guide came out. Should I send it to you or if you? I do not seem to have permissions to accept the full writing of the guide. I would be happy to format it and improve it before putting it out. Just need some advice.

Hey good news sorta, I'm nearly done my Cooking achievement guide. I finally had some free time to do it (I should have waited to claim it until a less busy time) but now all I need to do is a little arranging, should be ready in a couple days. I put it off also because the last three patches all made significant changes to the achievements (and 3.1 even added a new one) but now that 3.2 is a while off, it should stay relevant for a while.

My only concern is that because of the need the shaman class has for enhsim, that a gearing guide loses a certain amount of usefulness, unless you include a guide to Enhsim in it, suggest some options and get people to sim them Smiling

Best gear outside of Raids for Paladins.

I Have an 80 paladin, and during my questing 70-80 I made lists of the best gear to obtain, which includes the moderate-best enchants and gems for each specification. So I would love to do this guide, if its still available in time.

I would recommend the Maintankadin site for paladin tank gear choices, it seems like a pretty good one.
