Okey guys, finally a guide that I know that many people might get some use out of. Naxxramas is in place and with it the Tier 3 sets for each class. In this guide I will tell you how to prepare yourself as well as possible for when your guild sets foot in the Necropolis for the first time:-)

Tier 3 differs from Tier 1 and 2 in that it is awarded through quests. Thus it is more similar to how things work in AQ40 and ZG. You get the quest for each set item from an NPC at Light''s Hope Chapel. Before you can get them you must complete the attunement quest and a follow-up which requires you to kill x amount of trash in each wing of Naxxramas.

This is NOT a guide that tells you how to progress in Naxxramas, there are no hints or tips for boss encounters here. It only tells you what you will need for your tier 3 set. And believe me, if you are doing AQ or BWL at the moment, or even MC, you might need some time to get your items together. In many guilds, this might improve your chance to get priority on pieces you need INSIDE Naxxramas when the time comes.

In addition to the stuff you can get beforehand, you will need wartorn cloth/leather/chain/plate scraps (depending on your class'' armor preference) which drops from trash inside Naxxramas, as well as the desecrated item for your tier 3 piece (desecrated belt for your waist item etc). These drop from bosses, se the end of this guide for where to find the different desecrated items.

Okey, so let's have it. Each class needs the following:

Which boss drops what Descreated item goes as follows:

  • Bracers: Anub'rekhan, Faerlina and/or Gluth
  • Belt: Noth, Heigan and or/Gluth
  • Feet: Razuvious, Gothik and/or Gluth
  • Shoulders: Patchwerk, Grobbulus and/or Gluth
  • Gloves: Maexxna
  • Legs: Loatheb
  • Head: Thaddius
  • Chest: The Four Horsemen
  • The ring drops from the last boss, Kel'Thuzad and requires no quest to achieve.
