by alexkapi12With the use of a macro, you can increase your graphics with a higher view distance and grass density.
So, lets get started.
The steps to make a macro are:
1. Type in /macro or /m
2. Create 2 new macros with different icons.
3.Copy paste these lines in the first macro
/console overridefarclip 1
/console farclip 1600
/console horizonfarclip 6226
/console groundeffectdensity 256
/console groundeffectdist 140
/console smallcull 0
/console skycloudlod 3
/console characterAmbient
/console extshadowquality 4
4. For the second macro copy paste
/console environmentDetail 2
Now just put them on your action bar and run both. You will notice a large FPS drop even of a high end machine. For me, it dropped my fps by about 25 but now WoW looks extremely well.
Notes: Create 2 macros because 1 wont fit it all.

Ughh…forgot to readUghh…forgot to read comments on it and just did it not my wows screwed up…deleted the macros, how can I change it back to normal?
Vid if you’re interested.I made a video a couple weeks ago showing just the improved density(/console groundeffectdensity) part of that macro. Fraps dragged down my frame rate but at least you have an idea. However, now I also use the ground effect distance(/console groundeffectdist 140). Instead of only having it as 140, I now have it as 600, I recommend no one do this. My computer is able to handle it but BARELY. With it all the extra grass and rocks etc. loads as far as you can see with your camera.
Keep in mind in the video the ground effect distance is at the max the WoW video configuration naturally allows at Ultra.

The graphics were sweet, but it was short pleasure.
I ended up lagging with a gaming specialized, pro tweaked computer for 14000 NOK (1585 EUR).
Warning: don’t use this macro unless you have a REALLY good computer, or unless you REALLY like to play with lag 😛

Crysis was running betterCrysis was running better than WoW after the tweak, but after disabling reduce input lag option it ran a lot better.
Quite interesting for thoseQuite interesting for those with powerful computers. I wouldn’t recommend it if your system is average or below average though :p
