If you are following theIf you are following the levelling guides here, you really have a few options:
Fire is the best damage (thereby complimented by some Arcane for some insane crits), however, if you’re looking for survivability, go Frost.
Frost’s talents include some decent crits, but generally a longer casting time and a slower kill rate. So, if you don’t mind casting an extra frostbolt but living to tell about it more often, go frost.
I’ve played both with my level 43ish mage from the start. I just went back to fire because I was beside myself taking so long to kill, I’d rather play my paladin.
Uh…where should Mage spend talent points?
