best way to make money

hi, the best way ive found to make money is simply by getting skinning and either herbalism or mining, since the items you then find you can sell on the AH for amazing prices. mining tends to be the best since you can fuel both the mining industry AND the jewelcrafting one. also only use the cloth that you need, any excess sell on the AH in stacks of 20.

buisness man

time to start a new subject.have you ever heard people say that they OWN the runcloth buisness or the JC buisness and such?well i hsall explain this.people that i like to call 'investors' Cool buy cloth or watever out of the AH and then sell it for a SLIGHTLY higher price

after a while, you'll have mad a HUGE provit from wat you've bought and sold and makjes tons of g,and the bueaty part is,ANY lvl can do it!! Jawdropping!

1.1g-10g----invest in cloth
2.50g-100g----invest in ores+bars
3.100g-500g---invest in JC
4.500g+----invest in enchanting supplies+essences

after a while your name will be the only name in that catergory and youl be FILTHY RICH

human tailors is like dwarf or gnome skinners

If you are sure you want a certain profession, there are some things you can consider in creating your character. If you want a certaing type of character, then perhaps you should consider the profession that you would be best suited for. Example: the ppl here are saying that tailoring is best for the Human race (because the cloth is more readily available in the starting areas for human). For the same reason you could say that skinning is best to start on a Dwarf or Gnome (because of all the animals in the start area for them). If you want to have a mining profession, I don't think that is affected as much by location, but please take care in pairing your professions. Don't do mining if you want to do leatherworking, and a skinning engineer doesn't make much sense either. I don't suggest mining for a night elf primarily because the trainer for it is in Auberdine (a long hike for a newborn night elf). Wheras the Skinning / Leatherworking trainer is near Dalaran and the Herbalism / Alchemy trainer is in Dalaran. I'm not sure but I would say that the Night Elf is best suited for Alchemy. Hope this helps someone, and if I happen to be incorrect, I appologize.

Not really.

Matching your professions to your race is nowhere near as effective as to your class.

What you're saying does have it's point, but afterall, it would take about 30 minutes to take the tram from stormwind to ironforge, head into dun morogh and level skinning to 75. What's important is that you can craft items for yourself, or make big money on the higher levels.

Just thought i'd say this.

i agree with you: most

i agree with you: most important thing to match is class.

for example i wanted an enchanter, so it had to be a healer, because i wanted to be tailor too, to disenchant what i produce and healers do not need to level first aid.
In this way i can use all cloth to tailor.

For healers and tanks I also suggest mining, as they can easily find parties for dungeons.
Actually healers don't need it much, bu they can make good money in ah.

Skinning is another fast way to rise money for anyone, as u simply skin beasts of your quests, without going around to search mats.

Alchemy and herbalism is a very good way to help you in levelling, but remember that u won't be able to use potions or engeniering items, in arena!!!

Not Alchemy?

Night Elves are ideally suited to be herbalist/alchemists. Their starting zones all the way through the 20s (Ashenvale) are jammed-full of herbs.

Good comment. I'd like to

Good comment. I'd like to point out that not only is the first mining trainer accessible to Night Elves located in Auberdine, but there isn't any ore whatsoever in the starting zone of Teldrassil, so mining/blacksmithing/engineering/jewelcrafting are all annoying professions to take as a Night Elf.

tailoring

tailoring is good to start as a human or on a second charater with money or start late on because at the start you need to get up because theres not much money and with money you can get linen and wool from the AH soo you can get up quickily.

huh?

Why is being human a good way to start? That makes no sense.

Because the starting human

Because the starting human areas all have a lot of humanoid mobs, meaning you can farm the cloth instead of buying it.

Read Carefully

They were saying that Tailoring is a good skill to start with as a human... Not that human is a good way to start.

wow you *might* hve 2 or 3

wow you *might* hve 2 or 3 more stacks of cloth -> 40s each. no big deal, as you'll have way more Linen cloth later on when ur tailoring skill is too high to use linen cloth. so this makes no sense
