When you finish a guide, if you haven’t reached the level indicated, you get a step that says:
“You need to be level X to finish this guide”.
Strange to get that just before the end.

End of GuideYa, it keys off of the level you put as end level in the guide registration. I find it troubling in the current content with the 4 zones meant to be done in any order so really the range is 98 to 110, and I want to put that in the header so that people looking at the guide list know they can pick any guide. when you come to the end of the guide it is offputting to see you must be 110 to finish this guide and you are actually 102 (or maybe even 100 when we get to where people are starting the first zone at 98). The good news is you can check it off manually even if you arent that level. I wish there was a way to suppress it for a guide (based on something you enter in the registration block). It applies in lvl 1-100 content but as always, Blizzard changes things up.
I can’t see any purpose forI can’t see any purpose for the end level, to be told you need to be a certain level to finish the guide doesn’t seem to add any value.
I agree. And if someone wants it anyway they can just add a L line.
Re: I can’t see any purpose forThe purpose for the end level, is if there were quests with a level requirements that were skipped over as a result of you being under-level.When the Grail addon is present, I probe its DB to add any missing PRE and LVL information. So when you hit them in the guide, it will skip over them. The end level statement is also usefull if you have cherry picked a single quest in the guide. It stops the guide from switching to the next one.
Reply to comment | World of Warcraft ProI’m not sure why but this blog is loading incredibly slow for
me. Is anyone else having this issue or is it a problem on my end?
I’ll check back later and see if the problem still exists.
