All steps have been carefully optimized to fully complete the game as efficiently as possible.

No unnecessary running around, no missed Item, Quest or Trophy.

I’m playing on NORMAL difficulty, but you can play on EASY or CLASSIC and follow this guide just as well.

However, you will have to play on HARD difficulty after your first playthrough if you want that shiny PLATINUM trophy,
so NORMAL mode is a good way to train for HARD mode.

The choice is yours.

In this episode 03 of this FF7 Remake PLATINUM Guide, we will finish Chapter 2, learn how to deal with Riot Troopers, defeat The Huntsman and escape by train, back to the Sector 7 Slums.

Combat tips:

10:03 | 10:13 | 10:42 – Riot Troopers

03- 04’18 : When fighting Guard Dogs Always be ready to (Circle) Dodge Throat Clamp

03- 07’11 : OPTIONAL: If you go back you get a few extra fights

03- 09’23 : HP Up Materia is quite useful and takes forever to max out. Better start early

03- 10’04 : New enemy: Riot Trooper Don’t attack them head on, or you’ll have a bad time. There are 3 ways to deal with them:

03- 10’14 : Way #1: Wait for them to attack, dodge and hit them from behind

03- 11’44 : Way #2: (L1 + Cross) FIRE – Easiest and quickest way

Way #3: Counter in Punisher Mode, but it only works on normal attacks, not when they use Stun Baton.

01- 15’48 : The Huntsman (L1 + Cross) Fire – Wait for him to attack, dodge, get behind him. (Triangle) Punisher Mode

03- 15’59 : (Square) 7-hit combo + (Square) HOLD for Berserk – (L1 + Triangle) Focused Thrust – (Square) Attack for another ATB – (L1 + Triangle) Focused Thrust
