We are proud to announce that after weeks of hard work and countless hours of gnome labour the final chapter of Jame’s Alliance Leveling Guide is now completed. It is a direct follow up of the previous chapters of Jame’s Alliance Leveling guide and will take you from level 65 to 70:

Jame’s Alliance Leveling Guide – Chapter V (65-70)

Jame is going to start working on the horde guides from 60-70 immediately. Approximate release dates are as follows:

  • Jame’s Horde Leveling Guide Chapter V (60-65): End of January
  • Jame’s Horde Leveling Guide Chapter V (65-70): March

Jame’s previous leveling guides are currently getting revamped to adapt to patch v2.3, please check this news post for more information and schedules.

The reason why we chose to revamp the Horde guides first is because Jame decided to write the 60-70 guides first for Alliance. As we don’t really want to favour any faction, we decided that it would only be fair if Horde guides received some love first.

Lastly a quick reminder that Jame’s and Snowflake’s Leveling guides together (along with all the contributed starting guides) make up a huge compendium of free, high quality leveling guides, from the WoW-Pro community for the WoW-Pro community. That’s approximately 350-400 A4 pages of free guides. If you like our guides please take some time to leave feedback or contribute yourself.

Worth repeating…I have given my praises before, but I think it is well worth repeating…your guide is by far, hands down, THE BEST. And to add to it’s already legendary state of coolness, it’s FREE.

Anyone that would care to challenge my claim, please…bring it.

I am about section 53 of your guide, my toon is rolling by at lvl 58. As of today I will be following the updated guide from the point I am at.

A few friends have asked why not just skip, jump to Outland and get going on the bigger better quests, the gold, ect. ect. Why? All my quest give me high XP, and my path is nice and neatly laid out for me. Why would I wander around aimlessly, wasting time and getting picked off?

No thanks, I will follow “the word of Jame”.

Thank you Jame (and Snowflake) and keep up the great work.

    Akalyde, Blood Elf, lvl 58

I like both equally.I like both equally. However, I like taurens and blood elves a lot as races, so I end up playing Horde more often than Alliance. :p

Rough Zones for 60-70Hey Jame, I’m a UD Warlock, and I used your guides to get from 36-58 amazinly quick. I have a quick question, I levelled from 58-61+15 bubbles in Hellfire, and now I’m almost 62, and am just about to start the quests in Zangarmarsh. What I’m thinking, is Zangar til 65 (or I run out of quests), then Terrokar til 66 (67 if possible), Nagrand til 68, then BEM/Netherstorm til 70? Could someone please tell me if this is feasible? Love the guides, thanks.

I’m currently working myI’m currently working my druid through the twenties. After a mix of Darkshore and Bloodmyst I was already 22 when going to Ashenvale (and a draenei would be even further ahead because of more quests available to him in the 10-20 range) and I’m halfway to 25 now before even being close to having to go elsewhere. I picture a quick trip to either Stonetalon or Wetlands before going back and finishing up to 30 in Forest Song.

Thanks for this! Thanks for this! I had tried this guide way back when, but the initial grinding in the level 30 guide put me off. But the guide I was currently using ran out at 67, so I was happy to see this here. I was able to power through level 67 and 68 in no time!

Thanks and I look forward to the new revamps for my lowbie alts!

What I usually did was startWhat I usually did was start with red ridge mountains, then go to Darkshore and do the higher level quests there. Then go Ashenvale, Duskwood, Wetlands, Ashenvale.
However it’s been a long time I haven’t leveled an alliance character from 20 to 30, so I can’t say for sure what’s the best way to do it.

Sure thing, of course thisSure thing, of course this can’t happen without your 20-30 guide:-p If possible, I’m curious as to what rough path you are following zonewise in that guide, i.e. Duskwood->Wetlands->Ashenvale. Can you give any info on this? 20-30 have always been a headache as there are many zones to choose from, all with equally crappy circuits of few quests and a lot of running. I do favor the Ashenvale->Wetlands->Ashenvale trip after they added the quests and FP at Forest Song a while back.
Can’t wait to find out how you’re solving this:-)

    Sixth time’s a charmHello Jame!

Congrats on a great guide and great feedback from the community. I had time to get five chars to 70 before trying your guide on my sixth and it’s no suprise it’s going faster and more efficient than ever, even my hunter. I can’t wait to watched my /played after I do my final chars following your revamped alliance guide all the way from lvl 20.

    Thanks again this guide!

Don’t worry. There’s onlyDon’t worry. There’s only one quest at this level which depends on Aldor/Scryer. So even if you don’t do it, it’s not a big deal.

There are a lot of Aldor and Scryer quests in Netherstorm, but I’ve added seperate paths for both factions, so basically, just follow the guide without worrying about it ๐Ÿ™‚

Aldor/ScryerI’ve recently reached Shattrath with my priest, and being a Draenei I was wondering how long it’d be before you decide to write an Aldor equivalent (since that seems the better option for me).

I realise there probably isn’t much difference, but with this being my first char to 70 I really wouldn’t have a clue on which quests to do instead, or which parts of the guide I’d have to miss out.

    Thanks in advance.

If you mean the npc whichIf you mean the npc which gives [30] Highperch Venom, apparently the npc was moved to auberdine and the quest was removed.

I’ve no idea why Blizzard did this, it seems like a mistake. I’ll take it off the guide for now.
