This update includes:
- Tweaks to many guides
- Updates, as we incorporate the suggestions and bug fixes from YOU, our community! There are about 220 guides, of which some guides had updates.
- A promise to update the guides monthly.
- Various bug fixes.
- Preparation for 6.2 (We have been testing in the PTR!)
The updated guides in 6.1.2 include:
- All Leveling Starter zone guides were updated.
- All Exploration Achievement guides were consolidated into continent guides.
- All Garrison Building, Support and Campaign guides updated
- Legendary Ring questline updated
- Leveling Alliance JadeForest update
- Almost all Leveling Draenor Guides updated
- Leveling Horde Hissbrad Foothills updated
- Leveling Horde Arathi Highlands updated
- Leveling Horde Cape of Stranglethorne
- Leveling Horde Dragonblight
- Leveling Horde Storm Peaks
- Leveling Horde Icecrown
- Leveling Horde Twilight Highlands
We have some fixes/enhancements this update:
- Fixed leaderBoard crash
- Made “Reset Current Guide” work better
- Removed buggy starter zone remapping code and split the starter zone guides
- Removed naughty code that poked inside of Astrolabe and crashed sometimes.
We have 3 known bugs this release:
- Guide chooser is being enabled next release.
- Need to add “D” steps automatically to all guides.
- There is debug printing code that needs to be stamped out.
- Guides need to be re-arranged for better use for the impending 6.2 release
While the current guides are pretty good, we will be working constantly to improve and update these guides. Remember that if you notice a bug, you can help us by reporting it!
