You are welcome to make suchYou are welcome to make such a guide if you like. Just keep in mind that most “general” druid things can easily be ready on the starting screen for character creation. So if you only plan to write a paragraph or two, it probably is not really a useful guide.

If, however, you plan to go into a lot more detail (see for example [url=http://www.wowwiki.com/Druid]WoWWiki’s druid article[/url]) then I could see this being a useful guide 🙂 Remember to use Jame’s guide writing guide for advice, and highly ranked guides on the site as examples. Also be sure to link to other druid guides here on WoW-Pro if you want to send the reader to more specific information.

Contrary to some of the statements here, I’m not gone nor am I taking a break from WoW. I have been a little less active, but I’ve still been approving comments daily and posting pretty often. I haven’t come out with any new guides since October, and probably won’t be writing more until late December or later. I am describing my situation as “Semi-AFK” ;). I wasn’t on this week due to Thanksgiving holiday in the US.

As for the blog – this is a new idea that some users have started that I really like, but which is outside the original scope of the site. I’m going to start a news post with ideas on how to deal with this new type of post, located [url=https://www.wow-pro.com/node/2800]here[/url]. I think these posts will be really fun and useful, however they will function differently from guides so we need to talk about them a little bit.

Ok, I’ve got rid of myOk, I’ve got rid of my guides from the above list as I’m working on one solid continual project.

Just a quick question… What section would I post a ‘Junkbox’ under? It’s in the vein of Eric’s [i]WoW Millionaire[/i] posts but the scope of it includes almost every tompic imagionable (everything posted for it will go under this as a sub-directory). I’ve put it under General Guides for now while drafting the first couple of posts but will move them to whatever section they should go to.

Jame has been busy with aJame has been busy with a some RL for the past month, but he’s still sneaking around and leaving some comments. As far as I know Ji takes a little break from World of Warcraft, and I don’t know Shikamaru.

When that is said, I think that WoW-Pro is growing a lot at the moment and I think it’s due to wintertimes and such. Guides are being released almost everyday, and When Cataclysm hits us, I think that there will be alot of activety again.

Ok, firstly major apologies about my absence and subsequent lack of guides… I’ve had way to much crap going on IRL which forced me to take a break from WoW completely and also my WoW-Pro contributions (small though they were). Nevertheless, I’m back and intend to get back on track with everything! 🙂

I won’t be releasing my origional ideas as guides as such… I plan on doing a sort-of blog post every couple of days which will have a great deal of information on a variety of topics, providing of course that I’m able to arrange it 😛 Jiyambi I’d be grateful if you could PM me about this so we could sort things 🙂

DK PvPHey, I am still trying to figure out my Death Knight. Recently dinged 80 and trying to figure out his end game. Problem is, I ca’t find a PuG to run instances with and all the decent guilds on my server are either casual “social” guilds, or the hardcore, everyone decked out in Epic’s type guilds.

Guess what I am trying to say is that the only way I can really see myself getting any kind of Epic gear is t work through the BG’s for the next few weeks. Problem is I can’t seem to find a decent rotation that works well in PvP situations. Was hoping someone might like to volunteer their time to write a guide.

Heroics are outside raids,Heroics are outside raids, so the gear would count and should be included, as well as any gear you can get from the Argent Tournament. The name of your guide could be something like “Moonkin Pre-Raid Gear Guide”. As a Balance Druid, we know you are going to be DPS, but think about putting a note on any gear that is also good for Restoration Druids in case of Balance/Restoration Dual Spec. Also, make sure you read Jame’s Guide Writing Guide before you start. It will help immensely. Hope this helps.

You are correct. RaidsYou are correct. Raids consist of 10 or 25 players. 5-man raids do not exist. They are called heroic/ regular dungeon groups.

Moonkin dps guide outside of raidsOk since you’re a mod I was wondering if you coud help me.I would love to make a guide on the best gear for a moonkin dps outside of raids but, I need to know what you consider a raid I think a raid is anything above a group of 5-man’s, 10-man+ I know some people who say a 5-man is a raid.
Also, Could the name go under pre-raid gear?
